It seems that people are not aware of this lovely eatery which is hidden in the Barnes & Noble center on Sand Lake Road next to the popular Madras restaurant. When we walked in, we were not quite sure what to do. The cashier offered to give us a tour, came out from behind the counter and gave us a great explanation of the line. They have chef-designed options or you can choose your own ingredients to create a custom combination. I tired the South Beach Salad with craisins (I'm a sucker for craisins), walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, mesclun and romaine with a honey balsamic. You can have the dressing poured over an artfully arranged salad or mixed with a light, medium or heavy dose. This salad was lovely, both fresh and flavorful. The portion was large and satisfying. I added grilled chicken from a list of 7 different protein options. My daughter tried the Santa Fe Salad with avocado, corn, jack & cheddar shredded cheese, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips over kale & romaine with a chipotle lime vinaigrette. She loved the salad, but felt the dressing was a little too spicy for her. My only negative comment would be the packaged Crispy Chex Bar, a take on the rice crispy treat. Unfortunately, it was soggy, rather than chewy, so inedible. It's a shame because the flavor was good. The service was top notch. The restaurant has a beautiful build out with about 40 tables and booths, plus three tables outside. Lots of beverage choices including flavored teas. Also delivery pick up areas for Uber Eats & Grubhub. Menus labeled for gluten-free, Vegan and vegetarian. I want this place to survive, so I'll be bringing more family and work colleagues. As I walked from my home I discovered this hidden jem on my morning walk. I was hungering and famished. So I walked in to fresh and co. I warmly greeted by Srushti. She was very friendly and suggested the breakfast special. For $2.99 I got a coffee and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The coffee was fresh and hot and I got to choose to pour oatmilk which is a plus for me! The breakfast sandwich was delicious and was prepared by Chef Vishwaja...The sandwich had crispy bacon and melted American cheese. The bread was very soft. And the egg portion was stacked like a fresh omelet. Also I like to to mention I was able to charge my phone in their outlets which is by each booth while enjoying my breakfast...KUDOS to Srushti and Chef Vishwaja for making my breakfast experience an amazing one! We stopped in here for lunch after visiting Barnes & Noble in Dr Phillips. The menu is a little overwhelming at first but an employee came over right away and walked us through everything. All the menu items and ingredients looked very fresh and it was hard to choose. I ended up getting the Santa Fe salad and the server asked if I wanted light, medium or heavy on the dressing, which I thought was really nice. She then hand tossed the salad in front of me. It was delicious with a half avocado included as well. My only complaint was the chipotle dressing was a bit too spicy for me but I probably should have asked how spicy it was beforehand. My son got a Market Table bowl with cauliflower rice, Mac and cheese and salmon. The salmon portion was huge. He loved his and said he could tell the mac and cheese was handmade with a great cheese sauce. We also got a Caprese Sandwich to go to eat later. For drinks, we had the available iced teas which were honey citrus tea and hibiscus tea. We would have preferred regular iced tea. We did call to get a refund as some items where completely missing, they actually had someone drive to us and deliver the missing items which was nice but even than they where still missing stuff.
