Fresh Bakery is my go to place to have a light and delicious breakfast, brunch or light dinner too. I really love this bakery and how everything is very fresh. Whatever you order, it is from the oven to you. Sometimes, I have to wait a couple of minutes until my order is ready. Anoush always encourages me to call in advance to have my order ready by the time I arrive. The ladies who are working there are very sweet and friendly. I love their cheese borek, cheese and spinach,  lahmajun, cheese & Soujuk, maneish, beef borek and chicken borek. Their Dolma is so yummy and really delicious. They have also frozen food (kibbe, and Manty) They have also many desserts and Armenian cookies. I really love their dates cookies. It looks like a little crescent or mini Croissants and filled with dates, soooo good. It is a hidden gem in Covina with excellent service and fresh baked food

When I have a craving for some lahmajun this is my go to! A nice little spot to pick up a delicious and quick breakfast. There are many other items that I want to try on the menu. Service is fast and food is good, what's not to like?

Love this authentic Armenian bakery. We are so lucky to have it in Covina, because Burbank is too far lol Came here for a snack/ lunch after grabbing coffee down the street and going to Bert's mega mall. The borek was a perfect delight, as was the lahmujan. We sat inside and enjoyed, super fresh and wonderfully warm 1000% recommend

    Best lunch ever!

Consistently amazing bakes and very reasonable prices. This is what home tastes like.

Awesome hole in the wall place that bakes an assortment of Armenian goodies. I only know of places like this in Pasadena and Glendale, so it's nice to see one closer to home. I called in the morning and placed an order for pick up of their Lahmajun. When I arrived everything was ready to go. One of my co-workers also wanted an order so I placed another while I was there. They make everything fresh so I went shopping in the Middle Eastern market next door until the order was ready. I paid and got my full order and even for some cheese bureq for myself and chatted with the lady (Anoush) in the front. Everyone was friendly and I was happy to find out they also make pomegranate paste Lahmajun, so I'll be calling in for that next time. The Lahmajun was for my boss and co worker so I didn't get a chance to try one and didn't have time to do an order for myself, but I heard it was delicious. The cheese byureq I got was very good, so I highly recommend getting that. Definitely worth stopping by here for some authentic Armenian baked goods.

    Desserts and other delicious treat.

Still 5++++ stars. Everything is made fresh, in house, daily. I recently discovered they make "party size" items so you can get smaller lamacun, zatar, etc which are excellent for big gatherings. The date cookies are my latest favorite item. Can beforehand to make sure they aren't sold out! I love this place!!

I usually get their lahmajune ($1.50), manaish ($1.75), and spicy cheese borek ($4.50). They were still making the majority of their breads so they had plenty of manaish and lahmajune out first. Lots of flavors in the manaish, it's great for a quick snack. The lady is nice. They take card. It's located next to Big Lots.

We've always visited the Monrovia Diplomat in the past, and it was always good along with the…read moreservice. Today we visited the Diplomat Jr. in Glendora and it was not the quite the "upscale" Mediterranean dining advertised, but quite the contrary this time. From the fruit flies & black fly constantly buzzing around our table and landing in our food, to the lack of standard Mediterranean type accoutrements omitted from our meal. The chicken was seasoned and flavorful, but somewhat undercooked. The typical Mediterranean saffron rice was now replaced with plain [bland] rice pilaf, and no hummus or garlic is included with your "Mediterranean" meal. You must pay $10 extra for hummus, and $4 extra for a 2oz disposable container of garlic; a total $14.00 extra for condiments. But you do receive a large Mexican chile and cooked tomato, (to which i personally did not eat because i avoid highly acidic foods.) I would recommend to the Restaurant owners to keep the front door shut (especially when it's 92° out), or install a fan over the front door so that flying insects can't get in, annoy customers & contaminate the food. I would also recommend serving a traditional saffron rice since it is a "Mediterranean" restaurant. Additionally, the hummus was horribly boring and could've used a little garlic added for a little flavor, or garlic, infused olive oil blended it when making it. Garbanzo beans by themselves are boring and flat in flavor. The service was lacking, as our waitress slow or MIA most of the time & in fact at one point we had to leave our table & go find her in the bar as she was helping the bartender with no customers present. I'm so glad we did. From start to finish, the entire experience was A+. Our server, Junior, was amazing--friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. We started with the hummus trio served with fresh pita, and it immediately set the tone for the meal. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, and the fresh pita was the perfect accompaniment. For our entrée, we had the spicy chicken entree, and it was outstanding. The chicken was incredibly flavorful, but the sauce was something special--rich, savory, and so delicious that it really elevated the entire dish. It was one of those sauces that makes you stop for a second and think, wow, what is in this? We also had the house salad with their house-made balsamic dressing, which was fresh and delicious. Everything was bursting with flavor. My taste buds were smiling the entire time! We ended our meal with fresh, delicious baklava, which was the perfect finishing touch. There's something special about finding a great restaurant completely by accident. Excellent food, wonderful service, fresh ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere turned an unplanned lunch into such a pleasant experience.
