Poke Bowl w a combo of pokes
    Brandon P.

Gave this spot a try on their grand opening and I left extremely satisfied. The combination of the food, service, and ambiance is what earns a STRONG 4 stars. The poke itself tasted very fresh, flavorful and light. Each fish was bursting with the traditional flavors, as well as some special creations. The sides complimented the fish nicely, all while letting the true buttery texture and taste of the fish shine. I LOVED the crispy wontons, they throw some chili dust on it and it's a crispy treat. The owner, Cayla, was super hospitable and made my first experience memorable! Shoutout KC for making me the incredible bowl you see below. I will certainly be back. The food is clean, healthy, and flavorful. (Ps the spicy/shoyu salmon belly was a show stopper, trust)

No clue it had a sauce on it or what it was since there was no description

I really wanted to like this place because its the only poke place around that serve wonton chips. . . . :( It took a while to find the entrance because the door says Mr. Stroopwafel above it. You walk inside and its just a naked shop with nothing on the counters besides some canned juice drinks and 2 tables on the side wall, its not somewhere that makes me want to eat inside of it. Also super weird they dont offer bottles of water or any other drink than the juice. We are greeted by the employee and then told they were out of some of the fish and toppings. Okay fine we will get somthing they have, the menu doesn't actually tell you what anything is or what comes mixed in the fish. I ordered ginger tuna since they were out of salmon but I had no idea it had onions in it or what anything else came with or what sauces they put on top since nothing had a description. They dont have any type of sauce cup if you want a sauce on the side so its either sauce on everything or no sauce at all. Paying $20 per bowl for the smallest amount of poke ive ever seen in a poke bowl was also disappointing, we went home and had a snack afterwards. Maybe I'll try it again in the future. It seems like they have a LOT of kinks to work out. Till then ill just hope one of the other pokebowl places puts wonton chips on their menu.

First time coming here and I'll definitely be coming back!!! This is hands down the best poke in all of Marin/Sonoma county and the closest thing you can get to poke from Hawaii!! The wonton chips were a good addition and went really well with everything. Service was awesome, they let me try a sample piece of the whatever flavors I wanted and they were also playing Hawaiian music and had Hawaiian Sun and spam musubis to add to the vibes.

I'm so excited for a poke spot that serves REAL Ahi and also wonton chips as an option, yum! The young lady who helped was so personable and helpful! I sat outside in the sun to wait for my bowl. When it was ready she actually brought it out and handed it to me which I thought was a nice gesture. You can get 4 or 6 oz of fish. I couldn't finish the bowl but I really wanted to! I ordered chili crisp Ahi over wonton with three sides. Real Crab (because they were out of avocados), pickled ginger, & kimchee cucumbers. So fresh snd delicious! I can't wait to go back.

Hands down the best poke spot in the Bay! Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the Spicy Ahi first and it was so tasty that I ended up ordering a second bowl before I left. The second bowl I got was the Lao Style Ahi and oh my God... it rocked my world it was so good! I got my food pretty quick, the staff were super nice, and the place itself is super clean and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered a regular bowl and had a great experience. The bowl comes with one base (steamed rice, salad, or wonton chips), two choices of protein, and two sides, which gives you a lot of flexibility to customize. The fish tasted very fresh, which is obviously the most important part of a good poke bowl. There are also lots of side options, and the menu lists gluten-free options. If you're vegetarian, you can build a bowl with tofu and vegetables as well, which is a nice touch. The space itself is clean and simple with in-house seating, two tables plus bar seating along the window. You can order at the counter or use the self-service ordering kiosk by the door. They also carry Hawaiian sodas, which adds to the authentic feel. The restaurant is attached to Teaspoon, so you can either walk through Teaspoon or use the poke shop's separate entrance on the other side of the building. Overall, it's clean, fresh, and brings authentic Hawaiian poke to the Sonoma County area. Definitely a solid option if you're craving poke.

Everything was incredible! I've already been here twice and they opened a week ago! Great customer service and finger licking good poke.

Best poke spot in Sonoma County Top-notch service, spotless setup, and amazing food with super fresh, flavorful fish and generous portions for the price. Definitely a staple!

Finally stopped by Fresh Catch and I'm glad I did. The ahi tuna was super fresh and the bowl was really solid overall. Good portion of fish and everything tasted fresh and well put together. I've had a lot of poke around the area and this one definitely holds up. Simple, fresh, and exactly what you want when you're craving a poke bowl. Nice to see a new spot like this open up. I'll definitely be coming back to try more.

Our rolls came out with imitation crab laid on top and the minced crab in the rolls tastes fishy with a horrible texture. Likely they are using imitation crab instead of the real crab they used previously. The complementary miso was great & given to you with the standard salad, which was nice. The new staff was also very welcoming & friendly. For these two reasons, I upped the rating to three stars. Veggie tempura tastes good, but greasy & less pieces than you would receive previously. The Japanese mayo has significantly turned up the heat. My husband can't do spicy, so this was an unfortunate surprise. The menu is the same, but things are very different.

A little over a month ago, we were sad to learn it was closing, but thrilled when we heard new owners were taking over while keeping the beloved O'Sushi name. We were eager to see if the quality would remain the same. Yesterday marked our second visit since the change, and we couldn't be happier. I tried the Sashimi Salad, and it was absolutely delicious. My son loved his shrimp tempura roll, and my husband has enjoyed every roll he's ordered so far. The chef was incredibly friendly and even brought us a complimentary appetizer that was fantastic. When we asked how the restaurant is doing, he mentioned it's been a little slow, but we truly hope this wonderful place stays afloat and receives the public support it deserves. The new owners are a very sweet couple, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes us want to keep coming back. If you love quality sushi and great service, I highly recommend giving O'Sushi a try--you won't be disappointed!

I had been to the block before about a few years earlier and remember it being lively and fun filled with a handful of food options and a packed bar. This time, the establishment was almost completely empty with only two food options: the barbecue or the pizza. Both menus were extremely limited in terms of available options. I went with the barbecue platter and my boyfriend went with two slices of pepperoni pizza. While the pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about, I would never order that barbecue platter again. First of all, the mac & cheese that it came with was more like overcooked buttered noodles without seasoning. The pulled pork and the coleslaw tasted old as if it had been sitting out at room temp. I also thought it was weird that they gave me potato chips as another side, but to eat their own. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the side of pickles and who knows if those were even made or from a jar. It was cold outside, so we decided to sit under the enclosed portion of the building and flies swarmed us - they were everywhere and we were continuously swatting our hands around to try to get any relief. It was miserable experience and as soon as we were done eating, we just wanted to leave. I can see why people were not here after the disappointment my boyfriend and I felt.

This is a shared outdoor event space with restaurants, bars, and stage for live music. There was a good amount of people there, probably gets busier during events. I asked the bar about the brewery and was told there was currently only one selection from them on tap which was disappointing. It wasn't the most comfortable place to enjoy a beer either. Even if there had been more to experience, I probably wouldn't have bothered going back. One other note, the restrooms are singles and with so many people there was a long wait to use one. I'd imagine that'd be worse when busy.

The fish is incredibly fresh, and the rolls are outstanding. Our go-to favorites have been the 'My Hot Valentine' and 'Rainbow Roll' both are consistently excellent and seem to disappear from the table in about 30 seconds. If you're in Petaluma and want consistently great sushi in a relaxed, family-friendly setting, this place absolutely delivers. Service - the gal behind oysters bar was very skilled, very informative, and kept the food comin'. She created I wish I could call her out by name but it wasn't on the receipt that was texted to me. Food - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was an 11! * Lemonade was had good lemon taste and just the right acid/sugar balance. I learned that a batch is made each day, and occasionally two. The best I've had anywhere in Sonoma County or Marin County! * I order the first three items on the oyster list (this time two of each) and came up with a new favorite. Then I added four more to the favorite. At 81 I don't do well on short term memory! I love that what was done so right was the lemon and the mignonette (sp?) sauce that was exactly balanced. The last restaurant in Ptown and two absolutely terrible with a red and a white. * Next I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail. They screamed fresh, perfectly boiled that let the shrimp flavor out, and again the red sauce was perfectly balanced between flavor and heat. Had to made in house. And they just nicely crisply cool, not in a cold place that overwhelms the flavor. I don't think I've every had one this good! * Next was a pair of fried oysters. I was prepared for some oily, bready things that would ruin all of the above. BUT NO, the perfect balance was incredible!! * Last was the clam chowder. I'm soooo fussy about this after growing up in the NorthEast (Connecticut) and 4 years of college in Maine blew this one away. It lacked the perfection and freshness of my East Coast standard. But I finished with the last of lemonade and all was well. My standard has never been "perfect." I don't meet that standard, so the chef shouldn't have to either. Hey, maybe he's never been in Maine! P.S. there's not section for this, because the above doesn't happen without OWNERS that create processes and hire people that and buy the best incredients. Kudos, gals!!

Mignonette was delicious, light & tangy but not overpowering. Baked oysters - my sis ordered one Rockefeller and one Miso. The Rockefeller was "ok" but the Miso was "absolutely divine". Braised short ribs - absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes underneath was creamy and had a distinct cheesy taste. The meat was tender and flavorful. The greens brightened up an otherwise heavy dish. Linguine di Mare - very tasty. Pasta was well cooked and seafood was fresh and not overcooked. Wish I had more of the toast to get all of that delicious sauce. Service - we did not have reservations but were seated quickly upon arrival. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
