When we asked how the restaurant is doing, he mentioned it's been a little slow, but we truly hope this wonderful place stays afloat and receives the public support it deserves. The new owners are a very sweet couple, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes us want to keep coming back. It's become one of those places where everyone is happy, which is no small feat. Mignonette was delicious, light & tangy but not overpowering. Baked oysters - my sis ordered one Rockefeller and one Miso. The Rockefeller was "ok" but the Miso was "absolutely divine". Braised short ribs - absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes underneath was creamy and had a distinct cheesy taste. The meat was tender and flavorful. The greens brightened up an otherwise heavy dish. Linguine di Mare - very tasty. Pasta was well cooked and seafood was fresh and not overcooked. The accompanying toast (from local bakery/cafe Della Fattoria) was crispy and chewy and sopped up the cream sauce well. And that cream sauce. Absolutely amazing. Wish I had more of the toast to get all of that delicious sauce. Service - we did not have reservations but were seated quickly upon arrival. Everyone was friendly and attentive.
