a half eaten sandwich on a plate

Craving for some donuts? Come support small businesses. This donut shop has a lot of different kinds of donuts if you come early. The donuts and their sandwiches are good and very affordable. They have donuts, bagels, sandwiches, and different kind of drinks. I got different kind of donuts, croissant, and a sandwich. I will totally come back again. Right now because of COVID, you can't sit inside. However, the service is good. You just order and to-go it. There was no line when I came, and there are plenty of parking outside. The shop is close to the hot dog place.

This is a tiny little hole in the wall place, but they have good tasting donuts! Their donuts are fresh and the filled ones are loaded with custard/cherry, so every bite tastes delicious.

Needed to find a new donut space since Manley's closed in Willow Glen. This place is definitely ok, over priced and not many options with cream in the middle.

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2019 Fresh Donuts is located on Pearl Avenue in San Jose, California. They have a huge selection of donuts- cinnamon crumb, glazed raised, twist, blueberry, crullers, filled donuts of the custard or jam variety, old fashioned. They also serve Boyd's Coffee. If you want something other than sweet they have breakfast croissant sandwiches. Something must have changed in this family owned business because as of late the donuts and the custard filled ones taste super sweet and not in a good way. Maybe they are having an off day? I wonder if they have changed ownership? Due to the fact the donuts haven't been the best as of late, I won't be rushing back with my family. This used to be a good spot for donuts. Hopefully, the mishaps are just temporary. Noelle's Notes Friendly Customer Service

They ran out of jalapeño cheese bagels, which is my favorite around eight in the morning for a Saturday, but I'm glad I got to try another flavor. The people here are really nice. I was debating between two cream cheese flavors and then they said I could do half-and-half which I loved. The Greek goddess spread is also amazing. Same with the honey walnut. I even got little chunks of walnut in the cream which I did not expect. I'll definitely be coming back. It's a little store with chairs and tables outside where you can eat at.

I've had a hard time finding a place that actually serves their bagels toasted slightly crispy on the outside and I've been wanting to try this kind prepared bagel so I finally did and I loved both items. The bagel is stuffed with their chili oil scallion cream cheese and then dipped in their "Bloom Butter" which is a honey garlic butter, and also topped with mozzarella. The honey is a subtle sweetness that really makes it more original. All of the flavors in the bagel are very complementary of each other and the cream cheese gives it the lovely rich creaminess of the dish. The chocoflan espresso latte is also very good, the thick chocoflan creme top is very good- if you're a fan of chocolate anything you'd like this a lot. The order was prepared very fast for such a busy establishment so I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order was done. They seem to manage their in store orders and to-go/delivery very efficiently despite the place being quite busy. The price point is higher than other bagel shops, but these are just so good.

Perhaps they changed vendors. They always toast the bagels nicely, which I appreciate. They are generous with the cream cheese which leads to a messy eating experience. You'Ll want to make sure to have several napkins. They offer a large variety of bagel flavors and there's something for every craving here. I would love if they could improve the jalapeño cheddar bagel. They put such a small amount of cheese and jalapeños to the point that I wonder why they bother. After my half-year in the Bay Area, I frequently find myself craving a good NYC-style bagel, and, while Boichik Bagels hasn't _quite_ cracked the code, they've gotten pretty darn close. Their bagels are delightfully dense and slightly chewy, with a great snap from the crust. They're a little bit heavier than my average NYC bagel, but they've definitely mastered the NYC-style ginormous schmear of cream cheese and/or loaded breakfast sandwich. I've enjoyed their bagels in both sandwich form (huge fan of the whitefish salad with cucumbers and tomatoes for a more protein-rich / substantive meal) and with just a generous helping of cream cheese (of which they have quite a few flavors, including several vegan options). They don't have a _ton_ of bagel flavors, but they do have all the classics. Boichik also has a surprising love for pumpernickel; while the classic pumpernickel is delicious, I'm a huge fan of their pumpernickel caraway salt for a bit of extra herb flavor and savoriness. The staff is friendly and efficient. While there isn't any seating inside, there's a smattering of tables outside or you can always snag a seat elsewhere in Town & Country.
