The hosts were congenial and friendly and took our orders confidently and quickly. My wife and daughters ordered poke bowls and I ordered their Ramen. The Poke bowls were pretty good (in comparison with the Poke spots we have in Sac), and the ladies cleaned their bowls completely. There are three types of Ramen bowls available (Spam, Miso and Seafood), and I selected the Seafood option. It was a standard mix of shrimp, imitation crab, and scallops with fish cake, green onions and seaweed with a miso-like broth. The bowl was pretty solid, the broth could use a bit more flavor. So all in all, it was a solid meal for us. I would give the poke bowls a solid B, and the Ramen bowl a B-. Poke Land is a good place to have Poke or Ramen if you're in Redding. I surmise that there are better Ramen options within the Japanese restaurants around town, maybe better Poke options too. However, this is a good place that does both.

Our favorite however was there mains. They make some great Korean style food. We tried their Fusion Sandwich which is a Crispy Korean infused chicken patty with Asian coleslaw on a super toasted bun. Asian Infused Tacos, you get three and they are served with fried chicken and coleslaw and chopped green onions in fried tortillas. These were great. We ordered the Chicken with Snow Peas with Steamed Rice for $11.75, Vegetable Bean Curd with Steamed Rice for $11.55, and Beef with Oyster Sauce with Chicken Chow Mein for $12.55. The Soup of the Day was Hot & Sour Soup. The soup was really good, delicious, and not spicy at all. The Egg Rolls were crispy and too oily. The dipping sauce for the egg rolls was good. All the dishes were descent, but way too salty. We were told you can request the dishes to be light on the salt. We wouldn't mind returning next time as the flavors were good, but we would request the dishes be less salty.

Upon arrival, we had a reserved table marked & waiting for us, we were greeted like family friends, the team was happy to delay our tasting a bit when some of the party arrived a little later than planned (yours truly), we were treated to a tableside discussion with one of the chefs, were presented with 3 trays of bread & salads, meat choices, sauces and condiments, and then following, a dessert of sampling of their killer lemon bars. After a brief conversation with us, the chef even presented us with a post-wedding snack that he whipped-up for us: barbacoa street tacos! OKAY, let's talk about their food.
