This place is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It's literally tucked away in the middle of the highway next to a real estate building. Honestly, I was having second thoughts when I arrived for dinner, because we were literally the only ones parked in the parking lot. However, I was already pretty hungry, so there was no turning back. Inside is small - only a small bench for seating. The menu also looks pretty simple, but I was impressed by the prices (at most only $7-11 a meal). All the menu items sounded fresh and healthy. I was craving something more filling, so I got the teriyaki chicken plate with brown rice (this also came with a salad and cucumber side). Food came out around 5 minutes tops, and I have to say... I really enjoyed this meal. The salad greens were sweet, the teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly, and the cucumber side tasted so refreshing. All in all, this was a great meal. Would recommend to anyone who's health-conscious but would still like to enjoy an affordable meal.

We dropped by for dinner, it was our first time dining here and the experience was superb. There was a gentleman managing the entire place, offering us recommendations and thoroughly explaining the vegan options for my father. We quickly decided on two large bowls to go, one with Tofu and the other with Korean BBQ. They were generously packed to the brim with food, and I added a dash of spicy sriracha to mine, creating a perfect blend of flavors. Whoever was working on the evening of May 10th after 4 pm truly deserves recognition for their exceptional service. read more

Food is delicious and fresh. Been here about 10 times and the food is consistently good . Portions are large and their generous with their sauces. Food is prepared right in front of you so you could see the cleansing environment. Staff is friendly and professional. read more

These bowls aren't bad. The Hawaiian Pork Bowl has several dry spots, but I love the grilled pineapple - it's fresh, not canned. No Mac salad came with it, sadly, unclear if that's an omission or an oversight. The Korean BBQ bowl sits on white rice and has a nice side of slaw. The meat is a bit tough. California Chicken Salad, my fave. The salad leaves are fresh, not at all wilted, and there's decent teriyaki chicken and half a ripe avocado on top. Chopped cucumber is refreshing, and the sriracha aioli has some real bite. A pretty pleasant meal overall and a good way to get a few sides of vegetables made properly. Not bad at all, you could probably do worse than a couple of decent rice bowls. read more

It was great to find healthier options near Redding. The food was good and they got my order correct however the chicken just seemed very low quality. I might have just lucked out with a terribly fatty piece but it is what it is. Overall, I would come back and give them another shot. read more

WOW! What a find! If you're anywhere near Palo Cedro and want "real" as well as healthy...check out this little gem. They were very accommodating to our soy allergies!!! Worst food I have had in 10 years. The meat tasted line beef jerky soaked in water. Bagged cabbage! The rice tasted like it was made the same day. The name should be changed to not fresh griddle. I was so hungry I keep eating. A peanut butter sandwich would have been a better choice. I have had better food at a 7/11 in Menlo Park. Why leave the bones in a rice bowl? I get if you were making soup. But why ? read more

A few weeks ago my daughter was driving to work and she blew her tire. Her very first experience with a tire blowing. She was able to get into the parking lot of this restaurant. They were awesome offered her a beverage and a phone to use since hers wasn't getting service. I can't thank them enough for allowing her car to stay in the parking lot until we were able to get there, and get the tires switched out while her co-worker picked her up. Kinda bland atmosphere, food, and menu options. Limited vegan selections and And no alcohol-beer, wine, hard buch, nothing. Its more like an upscale subway type restaurant. Was not impressed and will not be back. read more

We were hungry for pizza but the place was packed. So down street sat this little quiet restaurant. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich loaded with lots of meat. I had the pulled pork bowl. It was good but I should have added grill pineapple. We will go back. We want to try the Korean BBQ. read more

I'll make this very simple. 1. Food = A+ 2. Service = A+ 3. Seating = B We were greeted by a very friendly person that explained their food to us (our first time here). She was extremely helpful and we appreciated that very much. I ordered the chicken teriyaki, my wife ordered the chicken fire bowl, and our friends ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Based on our taste preferences, the food we ordered was really good!!! The location is s little bit out of the way from Redding but it'll only take you 10 minutes the get there The seating is limited inside and out. If the weather permits, the outdoor seating is fantastic but if it's the Redding summer, you'll be miserable. There is one large table inside that can seat about 10 people (great way to meet people as you sit together). I/we will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place. read more

Food was amazing as always! .....NOTE: Seriously LARGE PARTIES why would your group of 14+ show up at this TINY restaurant, during the lunch rush, and take up the ENTIRE place with its ONE indoor community table? Did you even bother to call ahead? It was 45' outside, so patio eating was out this day. Where should the rest of the patrons sit and eat? Then customers complain abt slow everything. It can be a lose/lose for the restaurant. These super compact restaurants cannot and should not accept large parties with nowhere to put them. Next time, take your large group somewhere that can accommodate you, how inconsiderate. Thank you! read more

This place blew my mind with the delicious food. Seriously, it is amazing. The name describes them perfectly - the food is fresh! I waited way too long to make the drive to Palo Cedro and try this place out. I am happy I finally decided to go. The actual inside area is small and was fairly busy during Saturday at lunch. Outside seating seemed to be a great choice if the weather is nice. My one complaint is the hours. I'd love for them to be open later only so I could include them in my weekly dinner routine. read more

I have driven by here probably 200 times but decided to stop in for a bite. I ordered the Korean BBQ Plate. It was very good. The cucumber salad on the side was Delicious. The front cashier/server was really the highlight behind the great food. Very professional and outgoing/friendly and brought me some samples of some other sauces and dressings. Great Food, Great Service/Conversation. With some small tables (2 people) for the outside area to supplement the long bar seating and one table, they should be able to serve even more on those busy rush times. Looking forward to going back soon! read more

The food here totally deserves a five star. The only reason I bumped it down is because they need to figure better inside eating arrangements. As much as I love the long wooden table and would love to own it, it is not conducive to a real dining experience because of shared space. I'm used to living in SE Florida where occasionally you are forced to share tables. But others that love their space do not seem to enjoy sharing theirs. It can be awkward. Always greeted warmly by staff is great! Food...love it all!!!! read more

Took the family out to try something different. I had the Korean style ribs wife and stepson had burgers. The Korean ribs were the best I have ever had. The marinade they use is fantastic. They also served a salad with a home made dressing that is out of this world. The burgers my family had were two handlers. Neither of them uttered a word while they ate, just heard nom nom nom sounds. We will be back. read more

Totally worth driving to Palo Cedro to check this place out. It's quaint and has a comfortable laid back atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating. I had the Poke Bowl (Ahi was fresh and tasty!) and hubby had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, both very good! Loved the vegetarian options and the price to portion ratio was agreeable. All organic! I really was excited about this place, but sadly, the food was just ok for me. I had the fire bowl with tofu, and it was pretty bland. The tofu was basically raw and was soft and mushy. I would love to see the tofu at least fried and crispy with some flavor. I liked the concept of the food but sadly it fell short for me. read more

The food here is amazing (I usually order the fire burger or tacos). The downside to this place is the weird seating options, and the weird hours. I'm disappointed. I made an effort to drive out to Palo Cedro in hopes to have dinner with my little family. Everyone in the restaurant including other fellow customers were nice except this one particular cashier. She was plain RUDE. My little family and I were waiting in line and while we were waiting in line, we had to scout for an available seating area. It took close to 20 minutes till I got to the front of the line to order. I could tell the cashier was irritated since the restaurant has been busy. I, on the other hand didn't mind the wait. However, I overheard her telling a sweet customer in front of me that she was not happy about their rush. I finally got the chance to order, so I started with a Korean bbq ribs plate, and she answered, "No, we're out!!" I replied, "Awe okay, what about your teriyaki chicken plate?" She answered, "That's another 30 minute wait!!" At that moment, I started to wonder why the owners of this wonderful restaurant would hire such a lazy and rude person to be the cashier (the face of the of the restaurant). If you're the owner, please consider hiring a more pleasant cashier. I'm sure your food tastes great but bc of this one particular cashier, I may never come back. *UPDATE* The wonderful owner of this restaurant took the time to message me and he apologized on behalf of his employee. I am very pleased to know that there are still restaurant owners that care for their customers. Anyway, today my family and I went back to, "Fresh Fire Grill." We experienced great customer service and the food was as delicious as what we had expected. read more

Fresh fire grill is the best place to eat Asian fusion in Shasta Co. Everything is made from scratch. The decor is sleek and modern. Definitely try the Terryaki chicken and lemonade. They also have a cucumber mint salad. Lunch is around $10 person. Everything is organic too. So good quality and good for the environment. I highly recommend this cool new place. read more

We came in 15 minutes before closing, road weary with kids, and were completely taken care of, with absolute kindness. The food was fresh, delicious, and generous. We were told we were welcome to eat inside, despite how they'd obviously already cleaned. We were so grateful to get fresh, delicious food, offered with such kindness and understanding. I came here Monday the food was ok. I feel like my poke bowl was not fresh, I seen them with 2 batches and I got the older one I didn't say anything I just took it to go. But there customer service was so welcoming and great, the smile on her face and how polite she was, I left a $10 tip when I left if the food was as fresh as her they would have 5*.
