Matcha? Great for the cold mornings. Pumpkin almond croissant? YUMMY. Get it heated and you'll enjoy it. This cafe/bakery was just 2 min from my Airbnb and so glad to have supported this special place.

Amazing neighborhood bakery serving up decedent pastries and delicious drinks. We were at the beacon hill library on a Saturday so we walked over to grab a treat, our favorites are the brown butter chocolate chip cookie (my son loves cookies with salt) and the almond croissant. They offer breakfast sandwiches in a case a local coffee grounds as well. Staff is always nice and although they stay busy service is pretty fast.

Got their orange scone and iced vanilla matcha latte, I had to give them their 10s. Soo good!

Really cute and cozy cafe! Not a lot of seating if you're wanting to study/work here tho.

Lovely cafe with a fun and engaging barista. The location is terrific - just around the corner from the link station. It could have been the time of day (early afternoon), but the selection was quite limited. Great service - I couldn't decide between a basic chocolate chip cookie or double chocolate. The barista asked how much I liked sweets - not much - then go for the basic version. The double chocolate is quite sweet. I appreciated the candor. The price was fair. Have to say, though, the cookie was below average. It was baked well, not greasy or too sweet, and plenty of chips. But I have been on a chocolate chip quest for months now. This wasn't it's One of the croissants probably would have been a better choice. Next time.

I love Fresh Flours and especially this location. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Service is quick and the pastries are some of my favorite in Seattle! I also love the breakfast burritos that they carry and sell. The indoor space is a bit smaller but there is also outside seating and also plenty of street parking in the area.

This is a great local cafe to go hang out with a friend, get some work done, or grab a quick pastry and drink. It's conveniently located by the light rail station, has average prices for Seattle bakeries, service is quick, and it's not too noisy inside. Some of their pastries have Asian inspired flavors, making their items more unique. Their twice baked almond croissant is pretty good, if anything it could use a little more filling, however the pastry is so flaky and delicious.

Great spot to come hang out in. They have coffee and pastries! I got the cold brew, which was pretty strong. I was left a little bit jittery. The peach danish with custard under the fruit was delicious and crisp. The service was fast here too.

Such a cute spot near the light rail ! We stopped here before another bakery and had an amazing biscuit and London fog. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. It was great! Looked like a great place to read or study. My London fog wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed. My husband even said this morning he wishes we could've stopped there more than once on our vacation.

Five stars for Keith, barrista fabulousa Five stars for the Vibe, atmosphere, doggy treats, and open design No stars for not having vegan options 75 cents for non dairy which is too much. 25cents ok Also isn't it funny how it's just a straight charge it doesn't matter if you get a large or small. This is an industry wide issue. But some places are starting to not do any of charges for the non-dairy milk. It's great not to penalize vegans and lactose intolerant folks. I would come back here. I come to the oak vegan/vegetarian restaurant which does not have espresso. I walk five minutes down the street to get my espresso from Fresh Flours and return to Oak for brunch. YUM

Top quality pastries and coffee served by consistently friendly and efficient staff. I have never had a bad experience here. It's clean, cute and air conditioned inside with nice outdoor seating. Truly a neighborhood favorite.

Twice. Baked. Chocolate. Almond. Croissant. I've never had anything like it and I never will again. Such a lovely texture taste and look, it's a crispy flaky croissant with a cookie like exterior and stuffed with almond paste and chocolate. Unbelievable creation!

Warm Azuki red bean croissant (instantly addicted) and 16oz cappuccino w/ extra shot (good)!

I've been here a few times and always had a positive experience. The line was short but can definitely build up but not as long as some other options on the street. So, what went well, and what has plenty of room for improvement? SERVICE - 5/5 The staff was super friendly and just really cool! I especially appreciated that he grabbed the pain au chocolat from the back at my request. I did not want mine touching the almond croissants displayed so closely together. I wanted a pain au chocolat, not an almond pain au chocolat. Sorry! AMBIANCE - 4/5 A very busy bakery/café located at Pike Place Market, near Starbucks. I liked the wall décor and the overall cozy vibe. Finding an empty seat may be a challenge? KOUIGN-AMANN/PAIN AU CHOCOLAT/MERINGUE - 2/5 Kouign-amann - 0/5 It pained me to give a kouign-amann such a low score, especially because it is my all-time favorite pastry. But this one was so subpar that I could not even finish it. It was, frankly, a complete waste of butter, flour, sugar and labor. I once lodged a complaint with a GM and Director of F&B at a certain Ritz-Carlton because their kouign-amanns were so bad that I asked them to stop whoever was making them. Since then, there has been a huge improvement, and that is what genuine feedback should accomplish. Pastry integrity is of utmost importance, and pastry crime is hardly forgivable. Pain au Chocolat - 2/5 Doughy and deeply disappointing. I simply cannot reconcile this with the fact that Le Panier has supposedly been a beloved fixture of Seattle's food scene since 1983. MERINGUE -- 5/5 Can anyone possibly mess up a meringue?? It is extremely disappointing to visit what is supposed to be a legendary, quintessential French bakery in Seattle, only to find that the two pastries I was most looking forward to, the kouign-amann and pain au chocolat, were both such letdowns. A café/bakery cannot survive on service and ambiance alone. The pastries have to deliver too. Time to rehone the baking skills, Le Panier.

I've had their stellar and inventive-flavored macarons, but their cakes are no slouches either. The rose pistachio coffee cake was delectable. I make this place a destination because if I am lucky I can get one of those bay-window tables for a vegetarian quiche or Spanish tortilla washed down by coffee. I noticed the use of fresh herbs and the sense of a good ingredients and home-touch hand with their plates, as opposed to the commonplace, harried, sloppy kitchen production. Their drip coffee was too acidic for my taste (I prefer nutty balanced, chocolatey flavor). Next time I would get a latte. A higgledy-piggledy antique-style bathroom in the back is another sign of a time-hewn, characterful place. The brickwork in their narrow back patio is inviting but on a recent Sunday morning had been snagged for a private party. Finally a note to the artful wall tributes to heroic workers martyrs from U.S. history. The cafe elevates the spirit of care for the working person, which is noteworthy. Counter to the loudest mouthpieces of the modern era that would erase these assassinated/ crushed heroes that fought for the wellbeing and life of working people, you know that it is these heroes' spirit of courage that continues to outshine the capitalist drivel and machine mind of the majority.

She said they ran out of it some time past 11am on Saturday, so it seems like they don't necessarily go flying off the counter immediately. Although I was curious, I still wasn't sure if I'd make it in time for opening at 8am the next day. But I was housesitting nearby and the dog woke me up at 6:30 begging to go on a walk.
