Unfortunately, they never got back to me with a quote (even though I provided the required video and even some additional photos). We had some back and forth, so I know they were working on it. Not sure what happened with the quote. It felt intrusive and weird to provide a video of my house, so it's annoying to not have received any quote after getting past that hurdle. Edited to add: "only certain people leave negative reviews" - actually, most of my reviews are positive, so there ya go. I leave honest reviews, whether they are positive or negative or neutral. Considering I sent you my info on June 23rd, using the July 4th holiday as an excuse (as you did in the message sent to me) for not getting back to me isn't really sincere, especially when we had exchanged messages on the 23rd. Honestly disappointed as I was excited to use this company to help clean one of my homes. I know i requested a big project and was ready to go. I was in contact with the person in charge of scheduling and pricing. I was told he needed some time because he was going to talk to his partner for a quote. Unfortunately, after 3 different days of asking for a quote and letting me know I would have the quote the next morning - I was left hanging. I even sent a follow up to that morning for one more chance since I know we are all busy but just left on read. Was happy they were able to schedule me quickly. Had common areas and two bathrooms cleaned on first floor of home only. Two ladies showed up, very nice. The three stars are for slow service and missed areas. They arrived about 30 mins late, no big deal really. But they worked so slow and one was on her phone quite a bit during her time here. My mother thought she may be having a troubled day so didn't say anything about it. My mother and I joked that they prob didn't want to clean any more houses today because they were moving so slow. They missed emptying the trash in bathroom; didn't do adidn't clean bathroom floor; didn't move rug in living room and clean hardwood floor; didn't wipe off trashcan in kitchen; didn't clean sinks; broke light in refrigerator didn't mention; stood on furniture to clean windows. Overall they did an OKAY job. When I brought my concerns up to the owner I was provided many excuses. I didn't request a discount but was merely providing feedback about my experience. She charged me over the quoted amount and said it was because the cleaners were here for so long. Wow! I would hate to see how long they take to clean a dirty house... She asked me not to give a bad review. I paid full price for sub standard service so an honest review is what you get. Maybe it just wasn't my day to try this service. Vanessa and her team have been cleaning my apartment for over a year now and every time they do an excellent and very thorough job. I have used apps like task rabbit to have people clean before and the difference is night and day. The people on those apps do the minimum acceptable job while Vanessa really cares about getting the job done right. Best cleaning service I have had so far. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. Vanessa and her team got right to it when they got to my place. They scrubbed my kitchen and organized it to the point of it being unrecognizable. My kitchen floor was white again and shiny. I have tried many times to get it that white, and now it looks brand new. My bathroom is where they really impressed me. My bathtub is white again. They even cleaned the vent in my bathroom. Cleaning with so much heart. I Yelp messaged Fresh Nest at 10pm, not expecting an answer till the next day. Vanessa responded within the hour. (!) I was able to have somebody clean my Airbnb the next afternoon. The first wow. I normally do my own cleaning and I'm extremely meticulous. This week was super busy, and our last guests had a big hairy dog, so I knew I needed some backup. I was expecting to need to do a follow up clean after Fresh Nest LA came through, like I do with every other cleaning service I've tried. But... no! The next afternoon, Camilo showed up, on time, with a warm smile and a ton of supplies. And I was completely blown away. I've never, ever seen somebody clean my space with as much care and attention as I would put into it. I've gotten close. But not like this. Especially with all the dog hair that had been left in there. Like I said, I'm a meticulous Airbnb host. I didn't find one dog hair in there after he was done. From laundry to cleaning the windows, to even hosing down the patio (nobody has ever done that before), Camilo did it all. Fresh Nest was recommended to me by an associate, as I was looking for a crew to do a deep cleaning and sanitizing of a home prior to us moving in. Vanessa coordinated the service via text and was highly responsive. I was price shopping around with different agencies and while Fresh Nest was the highest quote I got by far, we decided to go with them mainly because the fee was not by the hour, but 'until the job is done.' Every other agency I looked at gave a quote for 3-4 hours, but Vanessa quoted us a price range with unlimited time (with a difference of $100 from the low end to the high end of the quote). It was a crew of 4 people, and she said they would work until it was done. The details she provided on what would be done were some things I didn't even think of. In terms of the clean itself, they arrived on time and were remarkably thorough. I would look in from time to time and saw them cleaning every nook and cranny of the house. It did take a VERY long time -- far longer than I anticipated (they were there from 10:00AM - 5:00PM... four people took 7 hours to clean a 4 bedroom house!!!) but they were cleaning baseboards, ceiling lamps, drawers, etc and even cleaned scuffs off the walls with a magic eraser. Overall, I am very impressed with the service, and though we paid more than we would have with other agencies, the detail-oriented and thorough job made it well worth the price. In the middle of a pandemic, I would gladly spend more to ensure a place is completely cleaned and sanitized. read more
