Great food is always fresh! Our favorite is chow mien and we come here at least once a week for past 3 years that we live here in Eastvale. Portions are always huge! They make special order for my vegetarian kids with the same great flavor but no meat. Broccoli (no beef) and green beans & veggies (no chicken). The chow mein is the best! For me, I love their Orange Chicken, Teriyaki BBQ chicken. and mushroom chicken. My father loves their BBQ pork and broccoli with beef. The place is always clean, including restrooms. I've been to this buffet-style Chinese restaurant multiple times, and the food is not very good. Why have I gone to Fresh Wok multiple times? There aren't very many Chinese food options in Eastvale, this is the closest to where I was staying at the time, and the food at the other Chinese restaurants seems to be of equal not-top-shelf quality, although I have not tried all of the other options. I have not returned to this restaurant in months, nor do I plan on doing so. On service, in my experience, if I've walked into the store with a smile and quickly placed my order, the staff responds with kindness and proper portions. While the staff's response at any restaurant should not be based on a customer's demeanor, but proper and cordial, they do seem rather thin-skinned at times. On one of my visits, I asked if they accepted digital payment (Apply, Samsung, or Android Pay), the staff rudely replied no, and that their point-of-sale machine could not process those transactions. I asked if we could try the digital payment on the machine, and they rudely replied no and accused me of forcing the technology on them. It's digital payment - nothing too revolutionary. I respect their right to refuse, but at the same time, running customers out of their restaurant isn't good business. The food portions are fairly large with any order, but the meat isn't top quality, and neither is the rice or chow main. For a cheap chicken bowl on a budget, this may seem like an acceptable option, but the food here, in my experience, isn't quality buffet-style Chinese. Just picked up a quick take out dinner for the 5 year old and wife. Got a two-item entree with white rice, chow mein noodles, orange chicken and mushroom chicken. Also got a large wonton soup with 2 veggie egg rolls and two chicken egg rolls. As far as Panda Express type places, this place is really good. Far better choice than Panda, and certainly better than the previous East Express. This ain't gourmet. This is fast Chinese food takeout. And it's a better choice than all the drive through fast food places. Best part? The five year old likes it too. Makes things easy on a Friday night. Tonight business was moving. Lots of people were in line trying to pick up an easy dinner. The parking lot was packed and a mess. But that's a whole other story, which would be full of rants as people in this area drive like clueless, rude jerks. read more

I agree with a couple other reviewers MUCH better than the previous East Express but at the end of the day its still just Chinese food under a heat lamp that gets piled into a Styrofoam clamshell... Don't get me wrong, eating at these style restaurants is one of my guilty pleasures and after one visit my wife and I were pleased with the end result. The chow mein was good, I liked the flavor of the noodles and there was a good veggie to noodle ratio. The fried rice was okay but the dark brown color is a bit off putting. I had the spicy chicken and the spicy chicken wings. The wife had Orange chicken and mushroom chicken. All of the chicken was moist and well prepared the sauces they where in we all very tasty and while I know the sodium count was high it still wasn't too salty. The veggies in the chicken dishes weren't too mushy and they (so far) haven't cut corners by adding to many carrots. Even though both my dishes were labeled spicy, they weren't very spicy at all and I still smothered them in sriracha. This is currently not our favorite fast food Chinese in the vicinity BUT its the closest and its good enough that it will probably get put into the rotation. If you're in Eastvale and you like the other place in the Ralphs shopping center then you'll probably like Fresh wok. Give it a try. To Fresh Wok, I can appreciate that you have some shrimp dishes that are made to order and that's awesome... But please add at least one to the lineup in the warming trays. read more

I honestly can't say anything bad about this place. I've been here a total of 3 times now and I've never been disappointed. They give you way more than you need and it's always so good. Especially there teriyaki chicken. At the moment, I'm eating a teriyaki bowl with fried rice, smothered in teriyaki sauce and oh my... it was better than I thought it was going to be. Wow, this place is super clean and the food is pretty tasty. I love that they have brown rice and it's only 35 cents more. It's cooked perfectly too. I read a couple reviews saying it was comparable to Panda Express, and I have to disagree. I got a two entree plate with fried rice and chow mien, orange chicken and bbq pork. The pork was flavorful, but tough. Same with the orange chicken. However I found the chicken to be a lot more varied between really tough fried breading, and really good juicy chicken. The chow mein had a weird after taste to it, definitely not my favorite, and I like crappy chow mien from bad chinese food places. Fried rice wasn't bad, had decent flavor to it, but not close to Panda Express' fried rice. As much as I want a close chinese food place, I think I'll continue to drive a few extra minutes to get to Panda Express. read more

Best chow mein ever! They pack it well with a mix of veggies. The orange chicken is not too sweet, and the bbq chicken has so much flavor. I recommend the chicken bowl and getting the steam vegetables. Vegetables are fresh, steam rice is soft and chicken is cut just perfectly. Portion size is awesome!
