I really wanted to like this place. Went in to pick up my online order. The cashier was a little bit unorganized when I went to pick up my order. She was going through their online order machine in the back. After a few minutes, she tried to give me an order that was mine. She quickly went back inside the kitchen. After waiting for a little bit over 10 mins, she came back to reassure me the order will be done in a couple of minutes. Ordered a power açaí bowl. I got it in a container and it looked delicious from the outside. Beyond the topping, it was soupy. I didn't know if I should've grabbed a straw to drink it. I tried to put it in the freezer but in 30 mins all I got where frozen fruits. Ordered a pitaya bowl. It came in one of those fruit salad container. It was a little bit disappointing. For almost $9, I thought it would be a little bit more presentable and flavorful. My daughter said "Mom, it was ok but never order it again". Now I would've given this place a 2 star but I added a star because the turkey torta was good. The bread was well toasted and good almost of veggies and turkey inside. Gave this spot a try when searching for healthier Breakfast options. I seen there were issues with wait times so I placed my order online in advance and had no issues. I tried the Kale Omelette, Apple Crisp Oatmeal, and Chocolate Pancakes. All were nicely done. The Oatmeal had chunks of fruit but were still bite size. The Kale Omelette was seasoned well and wasn't bland. Chocolate Pancakes were not overly sweet as the picture might look and were really good. It wasn't until earlier this year that I finally tried this place. One of my cousins had recommended it, and over the summer I got into an açaí bowl-kick, so thus my new obsession began. I've been here many times now, and have tried a variety of items, from their açaí bowls (my #1 go-to spot for them in San Diego!) which are delicious (with strawberries, bananas, honey, granola and coconut) and a large portion for the price, to cauliflower ceviche (refreshing, although the chips that came with them were a little stale), to their corn (good), smoothies (tasty and they offer non-dairy options like soy or almond) and to their salads (got the salmon one, which was good but a bit too much dressing). The place itself is very simple looking with some modern touches, and the parking lot always has space even when busy. Staff is friendly, and ordering-to-getting-food is usually not too long of a wait. FYI: I've tried their ordering system on Yelp, and it ended up being just quicker to order when you get there. The bananas on the fruit salad looked like they had been frozen for a long time. Furthermore, there was more pineapple than any other fruit. And no honey was added. As for the tejuino, it was probably the worst tejuino I've ever tried. It tasted like paint. If you go to this place, make sure not to avoid the tejuino & the fruit salad. A car accident (the car careened into the restaurant) has closed the interior, however they have put a food truck on the side of the restaurant continuing on with the same fresh, delicious food and drinks without missing a beat and with the same high quality. This tiny, corner lot shop smells freshly of fruits, which line the north end of the windows. It only took two visits for this spot to win a place in my heart. It is now one of my top favorite restaurants in San Diego, along with IB Tacos, Imperial Fish Market, RB Sushi, Jasmine and others. I am docking one star for one issue: On warmer days, the place is hot, sticky and muggy. Not at all keeping with its light, bright persona. The table tops have that warped plastic film that feels like it is melting in high heat. And the little fan or two they have going seem to blow hot air. Other than that, this place is tip top. For such a small spot, the menu is massive. Options include wraps, salads, sandwiches, energy bowls (looking at you, acai fanatics), sincronizadas, quesadillas, smoothies and more. You also have the option of elotes, tamales and champurrado, which is a thick chocolate-based drink. Abuelita makes it. And they have juicers! And they do not thin them out. Fresh juices are available in small at 12 ounces for $5 and large at 16 ounces for $6 with choices that include carrots, beets, oranges, spinach, cucumber, ginger, lime, pineapple, celery, watermelon, pineapple. I highly recommend the chicken torta. The chicken is so good. So, so, so good. And there is a very light, flavor-forward sauce that is the bee's knees. The wake-up sandwich is also tasty, with soft, pillowy eggs, pesto and fresh spinach leaves -- among other add ons. I highly endorse this spot and look forward to my return. read more

Looking for something healthy and light so chose Fresheria ! Extremely disappointed in the service and the food especially ! They were pretty busy the girl working the front wasn't very nice . She didn't allow any substitutions and the açaí bowl didn't even come with fruit ! Ordered the power açaí bowl first and when I tried it it was absolutely disgusting . Had to bring it back and ask for a different bowl, got the bowl and it was just as bland and soupy / warm as the other..with no fruit!
