spicy tuna handcrafted bowl. Very tasty.

Great little restaurant with very friendly service and excellent food. I had the spicy tuna handcrafted bowl with jalapeños. Very tasty.

I love fish bowls like the ones you'll find here at FreshFin. I'm a huge fan of the food here and even though it's a little more expensive than the average fast casual restaurant, I love to treat myself by coming here every once in a while. I think a lot of the food here can be pretty easily recreated at home, but it won't be as tasty or fresh. They have cute decor and good service, so it's fun to dine in instead of taking out.

This was my first introduction to this place as a group gathering. They don't freeze any of their fish and they pride themselves on that. The fact that all their fish was flown in a day after being caught was amazing, it might increase the cost, but was good! The fresh tuna and fresh salmon right off the cutting board was delightful! I ate two bowls. The spicy tuna was incredible and my second I did "made-my-own", which was also good, even though I didn't follow any specific recipe.

The food was fresh, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and I left feeling completely satisfied. What I Loved Spam Musubi: I happened to go on a Monday and scored the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal, which was such a win. The rice was packed just right, and that sweet-salty glaze on the spam was exactly what I was craving. The BBQ Combo: I went for the Kalbi short ribs and BBQ chicken. The ribs had a beautiful char and were super tender, while the chicken was juicy and well-marinated. You really can't beat those massive scoops of white rice and that creamy macaroni salad on the side. Island Fire Chicken: I also tried the spicy chicken, and it had a great kick! It was spicy enough to be exciting but didn't mask the actual flavor of the meat. The value here is hard to beat, especially with the Monday musubi deal. It felt like a massive, hearty treat, and it's definitely going into my regular rotation for a solid plate lunch.

Garlic chicken, perfect. It's fried to crispy perfection then covered in garlic sauce done right. Chicken Katsu, amazing (although what chicken Katsu isn't?!?). If you go on a Friday you can't go wrong with the beef short ribs an absolute stud of a protein/meat choice. Yum freaking yum. Let us not forget the sides, the supporting characters that can make the difference between a good show and an epic one. Their Mac salad contains imitation crab giving it that extra something and pushing it above those "other guys". Rice is rice, good job. We typically do a takeout, but this trip last August 2025 was a sit-down experience, and we are really glad we took the time. Our waitress was super helpful and conversational, especially when she heard that we were soon traveling to Okinawa, Japan, to see family. That was when she suggested trying their special beer from Okinawa, called "Orion". So I did, and it was fantastic. That really made me want to get to Okinawa just that much faster and experience Orion where it was brewed (Okinawa). Our dinner was fantastic as usual, as we both enjoyed our Mu-Shu Pork and some egg rolls. Someday I'll be daring enough to try the sushi, but for now, mu-shu pork loaded with Hoisin sauce will suit me just fine...oh, and some Orion beer too! Gives the impression is all about profit margins. The tiny scoops ultimately made the rice to protein ratio WAY off. Just SO. MUCH. RICE to make the bowl appear more full to compensate for the undersized & carefully measured protein.
