A coworker posted a picture of the donuts on her Facebook page, and I was instantly drawn in by the different colors. I'm not usually a fan of cake donuts but these ones - WOW. They're dense, but in a good way, they don't feel heavy, I like the subtle crispiness of its outside, and they're generously covered in uniquely flavored, delicious icing. And, to top it off, who woulda thunk that these babies are also vegan!?!?! I had these donuts a day later, and they were still good - not hard or stale at all. Check out their Facebook page to see what flavors they're serving up. They're $2.50 each, but my coworker who went and purchased the donuts said they're cheaper when you buy more.

    Apple cider, caramel vanilla, Raspberry

The only thing more delightful than the donuts was the owner! Will definitely come back when visiting Victoria again:)

A fresh dozen donuts that were too tempting to try before I remembered to snap a photo! ;)

The owner of this establishment was a delightful lady and her donuts were top notch! The store was clean, and though we don't have any food sensitivities, you would never know that these were vegan. So delicious!

So not only could we enjoy donut for those that are vegan in our group but they had a great range in flavours too! Extra bonus items - tables for larger groups (we were 9), delicious coffee, random tourism info, uno cards & a very pleasant atmosphere to hang out in. Definitely surpassed my expectations of a donut shop!

Rootbeer Sparkle, Mint Oreo, Coconut Mango, Strawberry Earl Grey, and half a Twix. Sadly, the Pumpkin Spice didn't make it to our counter.

I'm not vegan, but this place makes me think it wouldn't be a sacrifice in any way. I can never resist getting one of everything every time I walk in, and I've never regretted it. Six delicious donut flavours every week, and never a disappointment.

We were tubing in the north Saskatchewan river in a park nearby and stopped here afterwards they're only open till 3 PM. Everything is vegan. They have fantastic cake like donuts with different flavors each day. The mac & cheese was super amazing and it was vegan I was shocked. I got a deal pickle soup to go that came with the cornbread donuts so excited to eat it later

All vegan and all delicious! Stumbled upon this vegan oasis and enjoyed the raspberry and coffee donuts. We will certainly be back!

    Vegan doughnuts!

Frickin' Delights is a frickin' delight! They always has 6 different donuts available at any given time and I've yet to try a flavour I didn't like. So far the strawberry one is my favourite. They are always fresh and moist and seem to keep well overnight (they never last much longer than that!). No only does Frickin' Delights have vegan donuts, they also have a fully vegan lunch menu that includes various comfort foods like chili and mac and "cheese". They have the most amazing dill pickle soup. Seriously! I might love it more than I love the donuts!. I never thought I'd be willing to drive out to Devon for any sort of restaurant but Frickin' Delights is definitely worth the trip. I was initially drawn in by their vegan donuts and now I keep coming back for their... vegan donuts (among many other things!)

Dill Pickle Soup - no really and it was good.

Our plan was so simple. We wanted to go to Bunchberry Meadows to hike or snowshoe and then to Freckin Delights for a well deserved donut. We arrived 20 minutes before they closed only to find the donut display empty. . We were told that they still have dill pickle soup so since I've never had soup based on pickles before I ordered two. It was delicious and unique. I would describe it as potato chowder with dill pickles but either way we both enjoyed it. Although we were disappointed to miss out on the donuts it speaks well of the café that they do run out of things as that means that they only serve fresh food. I'll just have to come back someday for the donuts.

Been trying diferente places for donuts and I will say this is my second fav place for donuts, they are different from other donuts my understanding is that they are more healthy, but still donuts are donuts lol, they have a big variety of flavours but only 6 flavours a week at the location close to white Ave. They change the flavours every Tuesday ( that's what they guy told me) the staff is super nice, and this place is closer to my house so I think they will be seen me a little often lol. If you are around try this place I like it more than other donut places around white Ave!!!!!

I'm surprised that I've never reviewed this place! I went a few days ago and have been thinking about my next one ever since. I have tried a fair share of their donuts. A friend and I always pick up a 6 pack, a coffee and sit down and test them all out. The donuts themselves are the most incredible batter. They have a slight little crisp to them and when you break it in half it's the softest and lightest center which is like a spiced cake. INCREDIBLE!! then the delicious flavours they make them.. even better honestly I haven't had a bad flavour. Now they even have food!! the donair was great, the fries were fabulous, and I used to get the NYC bagel which was my fav! This place may be a little bit of a drive but it's so worth it. The only thing is that I sometimes find the staff not excited to be there but then you get a day where they are so excited to be there.

This is the best donut ever!!!! Seriously!! We drove from Edmonton on the snowy morning, but hey for great treats, we don't mind at all!! They have great sitting seating, very cozy, welcome and warmth. If you wanna have a treat, for sure this one is a well worthed one!!

Assortment of donuts available. There was 3 vanilla based flavours and 3 chocolate based ones.

This cute little shop is adorable inside. When we pulled up we weren't sure we were in the right place but then we saw the sign. When we walked in, you could see the eclectic selection of cute antique chairs and I felt like it'd be the perfect spot to curl up with a box of donuts and a book! There was a lady who was offering samples of a donut they had made for Rosy farms, the haskip donut. The haskip is a berry that is a mix between a Saskatoon and a blueberry. She had some berries to sample along with the donut creation. I am definitely now on the hunt for these berries because they were amazing! Basically like a target blueberry. They had a selection of 3 vanilla donuts and 3 chocolate flavours. Some of the flavours were Cookies n Cream, Pina coloda and Mayan They're also vegan! We tried all of them and they were all delicious. Their flavours change weekly so make sure to check their Facebook page to know their flavours that week. I also tried the caramel tea latte. It had rabioos tea, caramel shot and steam milk. It was really flavourful and tasted like something you'd get from a fancy coffee shop.

The donuts are amazing! My 3 year old daughter interrogated me to find out where I left the other donuts, after she had a chocolate donut.

There was no way that I could review it solely on the pastry received during our BC Bites & Sights tour. We met Dorothy who gave us a warm welcome. She provides a creative space, as well as an opportunity to those who need that inspiration. It's a unique work program! So, please have a heart when you experience slower than usual service. It may be a newcomer in training. We have all been there at some point in our lives. I love the creativity here! It's not just about coffee. They serve fresh out of the oven pizzas. We didn't get to see the bread and bannock. I really would have loved to try bannock which is sort of the Scottish precursor to the Native American fry bread (but, not really). You'll just have to read about it. What we did try was a pastry with custard, strawberries, and rhubarb. It was very good. I especially loved the rhubarb. I was also in love with the plants in the garden. It overlooks a park, and it's very close to Fisherman's Wharf. A great location! It's true that we only got a small taste of Victoria, but it did leave a lasting impression. There's so much more to this capital city that needs to be explored in more detail. Hopefully, we'll get that chance one day in the future.

The most baffling issue is their refusal to customize drinks. When ordering their smallest coffee, I was informed it automatically comes with two espresso shots. When I politely asked for a single shot instead, the staff flat-out refused, stating it was two shots or nothing unless I upgraded to a large size. Forcing customers into a higher caffeine content and a more expensive tier just because of a fixed-recipe policy is customer-hostile and strange. Unfortunately, the coffee itself doesn't justify the stubbornness. The brew is very basic, lacking any depth or distinct flavor profile, and simply not worth the money they charge. To top it off, the food was just as disappointing; the croissants were clearly old, stale, and unpleasantly hard. Skipping this spot and finding a cafe with better quality and a bit of flexibility for its customers is strongly recommended.
