The service it self was great, I loved the mocktail and birria tacos. I also got a tres leches which was sooo good. My sope were mid I think they just needed a little bit of salt or more season on the meat, though I could just put that on my own. I would give this place 8/10, I would give it another try later. The place it's such a nice place.

We came in for lunch and had a great experience! Service is amazing and the atmosphere is so fun! We enjoyed chips and salsa. I really like their salsa. For my entree, I got Grandma's meal, which is a cup of their chicken soup and a chicken enchilada with red sauce. It's the perfect portion size and so comforting. The soup was hearty and filled with chicken and rice. The enchilada was also well filled and the sauce was amazing. We love Frida's!

Went for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Place was pretty empty. Got seated and waiter.took our drink order and brought chips and salsa. Pretty tasty salsa. Ordered and food was brought out fairly quickly. Tasty. I especially enjoyed the rice. The restaurant is really big, bathroom was.super clean, music wasn't too loud. A good experience all around. The giant glass of horchata was the best.

well, of course i have my favorite mexican place, but, this was a very close second. amazing margs and food! their chips and salsa was great as well.

I had a great experience here! The inside is beautiful and vibrant. I went solely for their taco Tuesday special and it did not disappoint! 5 tacos for $10, I got two al pastor, one barbacoa, and one steak. They all tasted delicious. What really stood out to me was the service. From our server to the other servers that were there, they all checked on us frequently and were so nice. They have a salsa bar as well! With different sauces to try for the tacos . I will definitely be back!

I came here one evening with about a dozen coworkers. This place had been some rundown hole in the wall that closed down. I'm not sure if the space sold or if the owners just regrouped, but one day, Frida's was born. The interior is very neon and has artwork everywhere, which is very modern for these mid-tier Mexican restaurants. And here they lean heavy into their theme, Frida Kahlo everywhere. It was a very pleasant interior. We got seated, waited for everyone else to show up, enjoyed the chip and salsa, and ordered and sipped on drinks. The servers were extremely nice and were on point the entire night. When everyone got in and it was time to order, I did something I was very ashamed of. I came to a new Mexican restaurant, and just ordered fajitas. Now, there's nothing wrong with fajitas, they're delicious. But gosh, there are other things on the menu! Why must I always go to fajitas. Aaanyway, so I ordered the Fajitas (All fajitas are served in a sizzling skillet with green bell peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Served with a side of rice, refried beans, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, tomato, cheese, and tortillas), more specifically the Trio (Grilled tender chicken, steak, and jumbo shrimp). These were amazing. The chicken, which is often the more boring meat, really stood out. It was seasoned well, cooked Just perfectly. The steak was great, sliced just the right way. And the shrimp was certainly jumbo and plump, very juicy. Good stuff. As for the sides, they were pretty tasty, all done well, but the amount they gave you were the small, boutique-sized portions that are very trendy right now. So, that stinks, especially since the spirit of Mexico is small prices and large portions of quality food. But whatever. The experience was still wonderful. Overall, this place was very good. I'll probably be coming back decently often.

Frida's would make their namesake proud! I love Mexican food, but oddly enough in Central Florida have not really found an overall great Mexican restaurant, but Frida's will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. The decor is fun, yet classy. The service was quick, correct, and friendly. We started out with the chorizo cheese dip appetizer, which give you a huge portion of chorizo and cheese dip with fresh tortilla chips. My husband got the chorizo burger, which sounds odd, but was one of the most delicious burgers I've ever had! It was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered from the à la carte menu and got rice, refried beans, a crispy beef taco, and a chile relleno. Everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned well, and It was enough food that I could take home part of the children out and rice and beans for lunch the next day. Of course for dessert we had to try the fried ice cream, which was like the rest of the meal, delicious! We will definitely be coming back to Frida's to try more other menu has to offer. Rating from F to A+++, it gets an A+++!

Lovers of Habaneros will be happy to know that this is still owned and operated by the same lovely family. The younger generation took over and put their spin on things. The vibe was very fun. I loved the new decor and there is plenty of room for a large group. I came with a group of coworkers and we had a buffet set up for us with chicken, steak, & vegetarian fajitas. We also had all the sides (guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, etc). There was also rice and refried beans. Everything was fresh and hot. Service was impeccable! It's not easy to do a bunch of separate checks but we were all accommodated. I did not have a cocktail but every one who did enjoyed them and had a fantastic time.

Nice lunch at Fridas today! Came around 1pm and it wasn't busy. They have a good lunch menu with about 10 items. We ordered the burrito and fajitas, good portions and about $10 each. Out the door with soda and tip under $20. Burrito was flavorful and came out fast! Rice was cooked well. They give you free salsa and chips, as well as have a salsa bar you can try additional salsas that are spicer! Good service it was quick.

The staff is always attentive! (Hi Maria & Leslie!) My favorite items are fajitas, quesadilla de camaron & their 3-taco special. I suggest the corn tortillas for those. Try the hot salsa bar! Our family enjoys the table side guacamole. Extra onions! The main dining room has clean, modern /whimsical Frida touches, as does their well-appointed bar. They have a margarita flight... just saying.

Frida's Mexican Grill was great. We went on a Thursday night. We started off with their strong, refreshing margarita for $13.95, which set the perfect tone for the evening. The nachos I ordered as my meal was absolutely delicious and worth every penny of the $15 price tag. Loaded with cheesy goodness, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of spice, they were a hit with both of us. For my date's main course, I sampled my date's chicken enchiladas, and I must say, I was impressed. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a nice balance of flavors that left me wanting more. Overall, our experience at Frida's Mexican Grill was fantastic. The food was top-notch, the drinks were on point, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious Mexican meal with a great ambiance. Frida's never disappoints!

The food at Frida's is fresh and tasty. They have a great taco Tues for a super price discount. The Caritas are a favorite of mine. Margaritas are pricey but not out of line with what other restaurants are asking. They have a nice salsa bar with some spicy varieties. Over all, the service is great, the restaurant is clean and the food is very good.

As someone who actively seeks out tiki bars wherever I travel just so I can experience and review them, i can say they nailed the ambiance. The cocktails were well crafted but leaned much heavier on warm baking spices than my personal preference and I tried quite a few. I tend to prefer creamier, fruit forward tiki drinks with just ahint of spice, so while they werent my favorite style, thats a matter of taste rather than quality. The person i visited with loved their drink, which reinforces my previous comments. The real surprise of the evening was the food. it was outstanding, far better than i expected from a tiki lounge. The dish was flavorful, well prepared and easily worth the visit on its own. Overall, the experience delivered exactly what a great tiki bar should, an incredible atmosphere, quality drinks, and good food. Even though the cocktails werent perfectly suited to my palate, Id recommend stopping in if youre a fan of tiki culture.
