I wanted a breakfast burrito but done my way and the friendly lady at the counter made it happen! I searched for this place on Yelp and it was exactly as described. It's a small taco shop in a strip mall. They offer a full menu. I came specifically for my breakfast burrito. I saw that they had waffle fries on their menu so I asked if I could sub the potatoes in the burrito to the waffle fries and she happily did it. The flavor of the bacon, egg and cheese burrito was delicious! I also ordered chips and they had a nice dusting of seasoning. Overall a great experience and a place that I would recommend!

This bowl was next level. The broth was deep, rich, and perfectly seasoned--comforting but still bold, with just the right amount of heat. You could tell it had been simmered properly; every spoonful had layers of flavor instead of just spice. The meat was tender and plentiful, the hominy cooked just right, and the fresh cabbage, onion, cilantro, and lime brought everything together perfectly. Adding the salsas took it from great to unforgettable--each one added its own kick without overpowering the soup. This is the kind of pozole that warms you up, fills you up, and makes you slow down because you don't want it to end. Simple, authentic, and done right. I'd come back for this alone.

Chips and salsa chips were delicious and at the top carne asada taco

First time trying here and enjoyed. The seating area was nice and clean and we got excellent service. The reason for the four stars was chorizo torta had more lettuce and beans than chorizo. Could hardly taste the chorizo. The roll tacos, guacamole and cheese was delicious but the roll tacos themselves tasted like they weren't cooked all the way through. I believe maybe it's a thicker corn tortilla or home made which gives it a stronger corn tortilla taste, but when you bite into it in the middle, it wasn't crunchy and tastes uncooked. maybe a little longer cooking it? Five stars on service quality of food, but four on the quantity of food for the price

The thing to order here is the sope. Not your typical thick and heavy masa. It is more like a puffy and crispy fried tortilla. It's topped with beans, meat, lettuce and shredded white cheese. I would have preferred cotija cheese and sour cream, but they were still delish. I'd return specifically for sopes. The crisscut waffle fries nachos were good 4 out of 5 The soft tacos were a 2 out of 5 and the rolled taquitos 3 out of 5. If you like spicy, I recommend the creamy green spicy salsa

Their breakfast burritos are delicious! This little restaurant has really good Mexican food, the inside is not super spacious but it does have a few tables and chairs and seems clean every time I have ate there. The service is also good, nice people and very quick with making the food.

First time having Adobado and the meat was delicious. Cut thoughtfully small, crispy on the outside, and juicy and tender on the inside. Chris helped guide us through our first time. He's a doll and so helpful. We're definitely coming back.

Great food. You get a good amount of food for a reasonable price. The La Pasadita burrito is huge. Its like 2 burrito for the price of one. The regular taco are huge also. Had a pork one which was really good. And a chicken one which was good but not as good as the pork. I couldn't finish them. Next time I'll get the street taco ones. The guy working the counter was very nice and welcoming. We left full and satisfied.

Pozole. Hot off the pot Big chunks of meat. Look at the steam!

Great little Find! Love La Pasadita. Tripa Tacos are legit. I ask for them to be made EXTRA CRISPY and they are just little crispy pieces of heaven. Sopes are hand made fresh. I see the lady making them in the back. They are the Best Sopes I've ever had. They are thin, crispy and fluffy, which is usually the opposite of what Sopes are. They are a MUST try. My #1 Order - 2 Mini Tripa Tacos, Extra Crispy and a Carne Asada Sope. TIP: I eat the tacos 1st then whatever meat falls I top it onto my Asada Sope. Also Recommend - Al Pastor Tacos, Grilled Fish Tacos (a little messy but flavorful), Torta (bread is on the thinner side which I prefer, not too bready), Pozole, Crunchy Tacos and any Meat Choice Burrito. Everything is delicious. They also have a mean little salsa bar with freshly made salsa with a good kick, but you can cool it down with an Icy Horchata.

The food here was good and the portion size was big. Only complaint is that the salsas were kind of watery and didn't taste like much.

Are they still open? I've called a few times over the past week to place an order and no answer...?

The carne asada is hands down some of the best around and it's amazing no matter what you order it on. Honestly, we've worked our way through a good chunk of the menu and everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. One thing we also love is that they have AMI, so you can pick the music and keep the vibe going while you eat. Great food, great atmosphere, and friendly service every time. Burger? NO Tacos, beans? YES!…read more I was mega happy with one of my orders. The taco was luscious with a generous filling of juicy beef. The tamale was generous as well, but not my fav. THE BEANS! DELICIOUS! AND they included some chips and salsa at no extra charge! This is my new go to for "Mexican" food. So, why not FIVE STARS? It's their burger. Truly awful and possibly the worst I've ever had. It's cheap, $11., and that includes fries, but if the burger isn't worth finishing the cheap price isn't a plus. What's it take to make a good burger? I looked up In-in-Out on Google. What's their secret? Patties: 100% USDA ground chuck, shipped fresh daily and cooked to order.Produce: Whole onions and tomatoes are hand-sliced, and lettuce is hand-leafed. Plus, they have a great sauce. Well, a better bun too. It's the beef AND If Casa Jimenez could just add a couple nice lettuce leaves, a good size tomato, onions on request and then figure out a good sauce, they would have an edible burger. Charge more and don't serve something that's too bad to eat. Simple.

I asked what breakfast burrito is the best or her favorite and took her up on the recommendation of the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. Choosing to dine in I was offered chips and salsa and asked for salsa preference. No salsa bar here which was fine, I chose spicy and got a roasted red salsa and creamy green salsa. Red had more kick but the green had such a nice bright flavor. I'm sure there are more options but it was nice to trust the service to pick. Now for the burrito, the star of the show, Machaca is only 50 cents more than the bacon, coming in at around $14 which is about average around here. The size was great and a nice weight. Cutting it open there was a great mix of all the ingredients. Potatoes were a small dice and seasoned with the same spice they sprinkle on their chips I think. Fajita style onions and peppers with a generous amount of juicy Machaca, laced with perfectly melted cheese. I think there may have been some refried beans in there too since I asked for everything they recommend. If there was they were so nicely blended they didn't dominate a single bite and may have performed more as a binder. 5 stars for Location and staff were both great as it's not hard to get to off Ynez by the dealerships. It's the kind of place locals know of and tell people they got their perfect spot. Blown away by how friendly the staff is, in the morning, while taking deliveries. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is a solid 4.9/5, would definitely order again after I try some of the others because this place is definitely going on the short list of go-to spots. They have quesaberria tacos that look awesome.

Ate lunch at Lola's Birria…read moreand grabbed their lunch special, birria ramen + birria taco, and let me just say... my lunch was having a whole identity crisis because it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be taco or ramen... let's have both!! They start you off with chips and both red & green salsa, and thankfully, BOTH were delightful. No sad, watery salsa situation happening here! The birria ramen came in a small soup bowl, but don't let the size fool you. That broth was packed with that rich, savory birria goodness. The birria taco was generously stuffed with meat and came with its own little container of consomé for dipping. Because apparently one can never have too much birria juice. The lunch special also comes with rice, beans, cilantro and onion, making this a pretty satisfying meal for less than $15. That's a lunch deal I can get behind! And the birria itself had what I look for: tender, juicy, slow-cooked beef with a deep, savory, slightly spicy and mildly smoky chile flavor. It should taste rich and beefy, with the spices complementing the meat rather than overpowering it, and the consomé should be flavorful enough that you'll want to drink it straight from the cup. BONUS POINTS: They don't use lard in the beans! As someone who appreciates knowing what's lurking in my side dishes, I definitely appreciate this. Overall, I liked it! If you're looking for a good-value lunch special in the area, Lola's Birria is definitely worth checking out. And if you're anything like me, you'll probably be dipping everything into that consomé.
