Tried this local taco place in Murrieta. Have lived here for four years and still trying local taco places. Saw reviews on Yelp and thought we would take a field trip. Hubby always has nachos- so of course he had the carnitas nachos. I had a pollo tostada and a carnitas sope. Conclusion: nice, clean fast casual restaurant, lovely people and fresh tasting food. Nachos were served in a huge mound with big pieces of juicy pork,beans, cheese and guacamole. My pollo tostada was lightly fried and packed with lots of chicken, lettuce, tomato and cheese and the sope had the same accompaniments and juicy pork. I think I preferred the tostada over the sope ( because of the base) but that's my personal preference. Will definitely add this little shop in to our taco rotation!! read more

So I'm a freak for carne fries. And La Pasadita has some good ones. Positives are THEY USE CRISS CUT FRIES, topping are plentiful and the salsas are tasty. Negatives, even thought my meat was tasty it was a little tough. Also by the time I got home the fries were a bit soggy. Would be better to eat it there when it's at its freshest. It's a small taco shop in a strip mall. They offer a full menu. I came specifically for my breakfast burrito. I saw that they had waffle fries on their menu so I asked if I could sub the potatoes in the burrito to the waffle fries and she happily did it. Could hardly taste the chorizo. The roll tacos, guacamole and cheese was delicious but the roll tacos themselves tasted like they weren't cooked all the way through. The thing to order here is the sope. Not your typical thick and heavy masa. It is more like a puffy and crispy fried tortilla. It's topped with beans, meat, lettuce and shredded white cheese. I would have preferred cotija cheese and sour cream, but they were still delish. I'd return specifically for sopes. I've been going here for YEARS and the quality has gone down tremendously. I'm allergic to guacamole which comes with my order so I ask to replace it with sour cream instead. They charge me $1 extra every time and NEVER put the sour cream in or barely at all. This places prices have gone up way too much and try and charge you for everything extra. It's become too expensive. I am VERY unhappy being a LONG TIME customer (4-5 years) and they don't honor loyal customers. Today will be the LAST time I step foot in this establishment. My last order was COLD, NO Sour Cream and when I called to ask for some sort of accommodation whether it be a refund or a credit on a future visit they were unwilling to make it right. The owner speaks Spanish and can't understand his customers so this was a lost cause. I'm VERY disappointed in this situation being a long time customer. Great little Find! Love La Pasadita. Tripa Tacos are legit. I ask for them to be made EXTRA CRISPY and they are just little crispy pieces of heaven. Sopes are hand made fresh. I see the lady making them in the back. They are the Best Sopes I've ever had. They are thin, crispy and fluffy, which is usually the opposite of what Sopes are. They are a MUST try. My #1 Order - 2 Mini Tripa Tacos, Extra Crispy and a Carne Asada Sope. TIP: I eat the tacos 1st then whatever meat falls I top it onto my Asada Sope. Also Recommend - Al Pastor Tacos, Grilled Fish Tacos (a little messy but flavorful), Torta (bread is on the thinner side which I prefer, not too bready), Pozole, Crunchy Tacos and any Meat Choice Burrito. This place had waffle fries which is new to me so we did half and half and added beans. Love that they made the fries crispy automatically as we don't really like soggy french fries. The employees here are very friendly and kind and they get your food out to you pretty quickly. We cane here for the very first time and I was disappointed that their shrimp burrito is not a shrimp a la diabla burrito. I had their shrimp street tacos. They're each about $4.00+. Honestly, they weren't that great. Very tiny pieces of shrimp, with cabbage and tomatoes on top of two very white-washed tor-til-lahs, not tortillas. The spicy green cilantro salsa was not spicy, but good although it was a little watery. The carne asada burrito was ok, according to my daughter. My son is a picky eater and wanted to try the street tacos with carne asada here. He ate almost an entire street taco, but I noticed he made a face when he did it. He ate it because he was hungry, but then complained that the tortilla was very white-washed. My daughter and I ended up eating some of his car-nay ah-sa-dah since neither of us liked the white-washed tor-til-lahs. The ccar-nay was pretty white-washed, too, not seasoned enough and kinda burnt and cut too small. The horchata was not as flavorful and pretty white-washed too. We will not be coming back, but thank you for your kindness and great customer service. We weren't fans of the food, but it could also have been our choices tonight. I ordered a chorizo burrito this morning and it made me sick!! The burrito was saturated in cheap chorizo oil it got on my car and the bad was soaked. The chorizo they use appears to be cheap. Please use less chorizo it should be a good balance of egg, cheese, potato, chorizo. Tortilla or ok it was undercooked. I won't be back here third time trying this place ughhh read more

Decent food. My wife got the tripa tacos and they were nice and crispy. I got a Pasadita burrito and while it was tasty, it wasn't folded well. I had to eat it with a knife and fork because the tortilla would just fall apart if I tried to pick it up. The salsa selection here isn't great, and the ones they do have aren't even that tasty.
