This company is horrible!! The owner Brad and his receptionist, Delilah, are uncaring, and rude. Their employee Omar came to repair my mother's Curio Cabinet. As Omar was repairing the shattered glass the cabinet fell forward and broke the Curio Cabinet curved glass door. That was three months ago. I call every week at least twice a week, went in spoke to Kyle in person asked him to have Brad call me. That was 2-weeks ago, no call back. Do not use this company. read more

They were super helpful! I called ahead and asked a few questions regarding a pet grate! After I couldn't find one at Lowes I went out there and got exactly what I needed. The guys were very helpful and even helped get the grate down to the size I needed. Even gave me the screws! read more

Frankly, I was extremely skeptical about this place AND my doubts WERE very high based solely on the Yelp reviews... However, I'm not new to puchasing customized pieces of glass so I wanted to give these folks a try. Glad I did! The young fella at the front counter (Kyle) was profesional, efficient, curtious & attentive. Within 5 minutes I was on my way with an invoice in hand. He had taken my order, calculated cost, taken my deposit, provided me with a copy of my invoice & agreed to call me within 2-3 business days. The following afternoon I was called that my order was ready for pick-up! No hassles in picking up my item. They placed the custom glass in my vehicle and minutes later I was on the road. The item was for my home office desk. The measurements were on point & perfect. I experienced no hassles and couldn't be more happier with my decision to try these folks out. Walked in to put a down payment for my work on a Friday, the secretary told me they would be over on Monday to install 11 window screens and 2 sliding patio screen doors. Monday came around and no one showed up for the install time frame they gave me. I called the office and they couldn't even find my order, the owner had to find my order and sort it out. Friday the same week, they showed up with all the screens, took the doors for replacing. They use the old frames and re screen it. The wheels are also replaced. 4 window screens had to be redone since they fit too tight. Overall the work was worth the price in my opinion. read more

DON'T H8.........The worst service ever... made an appointment for replacing two large sliding doors and 5 screens.... they came... measured ... never heard from them again... the husband spoke very condecsending to his wife. And was actually kind of a jerk ..... DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY BUSINESS.... I never received my screens from this business and it is 4 days after they promised them! (Oxnard Store) I called them the morning the order was due, and was told they will be ready in the afternoon. The following day, my friend stopped by to pick up the screens and was told the order was not ready. Next, I called and asked why no one simply called to alert me and save my friend a trip. I got no apology and only excuses! I asked for a manager, or owner call me. To date I have not gotten a call. Did I get robbed? Friedley's did take my money! I retired 1 year ago, returned from Sacramento to Oxnard (my hometown), and this is my 1st and only complaint! read more

Used them a few times now, we live on a golf course. Frist time no real problems. Second time 4-5 years later it was really and I mean REALLY BAD! Seems to be more the office, not the installers. Always an excuse: Missed place paperwork, never calling back, not meeting ANY timelines stated. We will never use them again and we are looking at replacing all the windows. We were very pleased by the service at Friedleys mobile screen and glass. We needed shower doors and had visited several local businesses. Friedleys was the only one who met our needs. We were given all the options and quoted a fair price much lower for the same thing at a competetor. They came at the promised time took the measurements and gave an installation date all kept. The two installers Omar And Danny introduced them selves went straight to work. Installation very professionally done . I called a few other glass/window shops to get over the phone quotes on a 40"x100" table top glass for my dinning table. Most shops quoted me around $260-$280 plus had an additional delivery fee (up to additional $85). Friedley's quoted me at $250 including the delivery which put them at least $100 less than the other 2 shops, so I choose to go with them, because it was the same exact product. They did take a few more days to deliver than they originally said and I had to call them to see what the hold up was, so if you want the best price and don't mind maybe waiting a bit more, than I think you'll be satisfied with these guys. Very professional. Friedley's quoted me a glass table top over e-mail. Then came to my house to get the pattern and a week later a perfect, beautiful and reasonably priced glass table top arrived to my home. They cleaned it and laid it upon my table. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

My husband and I visited the store and spoke with the owner. We arranged a call to our home to get an estimate of the work needed. He arrived promptly, discussed our options, measured the window and promised an estimate in a day or two. We have never heard from him and he was here well over a month ago. I called these folks on a Thursday and they couldn't pickup the screens till Tuesday. We agreed to wait and they picked up as scheduled. Two weeks later we hadn't heard back. We called and they said they could not find the paperwork. They'd look and once found would call back. Two days later, having not heard back, we called again in the morning. Same answer - can't find paperwork but will look and call back. After lunch we called again with the same story and another promise to call back. Close to 5 p.m. we called again and still no paperwork. I told them i'd be in the next day to pickup my screens. The next morning they had my screens and again told me that they had no paperwork. They offer no apology nor any explanation. I took my screens to Quality Windows right around the corner. They promised the finished screens for tomorrow. read more

Please go to another glass and window store!!!! I recently had an appointment to have window screens and a screen door installed at my home. I had a appointment from 2-4 p.m. for installation. I called the business earlier in the day and they confirmed the appointment. At about 4:30 after no one showed I called the business and spoke with an employee. The employee said he would call me back after he found out what was going on with the installer. At 5:30 p.m. I still didn't receive a call and found out the business closed at 5:00. I could not reach anyone on the phone and there was no message recording on the business line. I left and email on the business website and still hasn't heard anything back. The next day on Saturday I initially called the business since it said it would be open from 9am till 1pm but there no answer. I went to the business and found it to be closed although the door said the hours were from 9-1 on Saturday. I still have not heard back from the business. Poor....poor....poor customer service!!! We had an appointment this week with Friedley's Glass. After taking a day off from work, I waited around ALL DAY for them. They were a no show no call. The scheduled time was 10am-12 noon. By 2:00 I called and I was told they would look into it and call me back to let me know when to expect them. She took down all my information again. I waited, no one called me back and no one ever showed up. I wasted my whole day. I won't beg to be their customer, so I called another company to give them my business. Brad and his team were excellent from beginning to end... I agree with John. M. that Brad showed up on time for every appt, provided quotes and followed up on calls. Installation of new transom windows and sliding glass door was quick and easy. I had them come back for a new screen door as well. Also, Brad was able to repair windows that were no longer sliding smoothly at a much lower cost than a new window. Had a vanity mirror needing replacement. Was quoted twenty dollars. Was told in a week it would be cut and ready. Three weeks later and a new charge of 27.00 dollars I was presented with my new vanity mirror. After owner was call he honoured original a price . Took mirror home just find out it wasn't finished and didn't slide as it should in my wife's medicine chest. Attention to detail is obviously there shortcomings. Never again. Also had them set up to do five Windows replacement. Quote and previous services led me to have Windows done by an outfit in Ventura on Market street. One door closes another one opens. read more

For those of you interesting in doing a small or large job with Friedley's Glass, please read this review careful. This review is about more than just ordering one replacement screen and reviewing the results. The project in question, which has just been completed, was the retrofit/replacement of 41 windows (and screens) in a local apartment building. Brad was involved in the entire process, from quotation to obtaining the building permit, to working with the apartment manager and tenants, to installing the windows with great care and skill, to getting final permit approval through Building and Safety. The job was done professionally, on time, and with zero of my involvement. There were zero tenant complaints. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with the results from Friedley's Glass and will definitely use them in the future for all my glass, shower enclosure, replacement screen, etc. needs.
