We just finished remodeling our master bath one month ago having all the work done by a general contractor. First time we used the shower we realized it leaked and the door didn't close properly. It is a frameless shower which looks nice but needed work. I contacted Steve to see if he could help us out. Cut to today Steve showed up on time to fix the poor workmanship of the general contractor. After 3 hours he was able to fix the leaks and make the door swing properly. I'm an HONEST REVIEWER of consumer experiences. I'm honestly conveying my experience and you can see someone else had the same experience in the past that I had. I appreciate the response on Yelp! from Steve and VGC but a call or text to my calls and texts would have been sufficient. Even if too busy to take the job or make the appointment date. Maybe I can work with VGC in the future and the interaction but my real estate agent recommends Fuller Glass. I called Ventura Glass and Steve initially talked to me about an appointment. Even texted me back. He said he would be in town on Tuesday and said to text him or call him with a time for Tuesday. I had all day Tuesday and Wednesday for him so I called Ventura Glass a number of times before then and left messages, but I got ghosted. Expectation was to get Steve in on Tuesday and I got no calls back and never answered my calls after the initial call. This is for a new glass shower bi-pass sliding door and two mirrors. Fuller Glass and Paint kept their 2 week old FREE estimate appointment and even called to confirm, ordering me a standard sized door and pulled off the old mirror to replace. Even telling me the other custom mirror was fine and to leave it. They even got in earlier than originally scheduled. read more

I am building two townhomes up on the hillside on Kalorama in Ventura. I needed a curved piece of glass, so I reached out to a number of people and most either wouldn't do it or were way more expensive. After going back-and-forth with the engineer, the architect and Steve from Anchor Glass we ordered the glass. Then Steve and his three employees came out and installed it. At the time they brought out three people I thought it was overkill but after seeing them work we needed all that manpower. Anchor Glass was great to work with and Steve knows what he's doing. I had a small job because I somehow hulk smashed one of my tempered glass shower doors. I work Monday through Friday 8-5 so an initial estimate was hard to do. He let me send him pictures via text and work things out that way. Then he came out for the estimate in person once we had everything squared away to confirm my measurements. Even with his delivery fee he beat a competitor by about $20 but gives you the option to pick up and install yourself saving an additional $85.
