I purchased a dishwasher online, and it was delivered promptly. Two installers came, quickly ran the dishwasher, had me sign paperwork confirming it was working, and then left. I live alone and rarely cook, so I didn't use the dishwasher again until I hosted a party that weekend. It seemed to run fine, but the next morning, when I was unloading the dishes, I discovered that it had flooded and would no longer turn on. I contacted Airport Home Appliance, and they referred me to GE Appliances. GE scheduled a service appointment, then later rescheduled it. When I called to ask why, they told me they were waiting for parts to arrive. I was confused as to how they could determine what parts were needed without first inspecting the dishwasher. They explained that this is a common issue with this particular model. Concerned about keeping a brand-new dishwasher with a known issue, I contacted Airport Home Appliance again and requested a return so I could exchange it for a different brand. However, I was told that the 48-hour return window had passed, so I could no longer return it and would need to wait for GE to repair it. They also said that if GE is able to fix it, I would not be allowed to exchange it for another model. I'm extremely frustrated by being passed back and forth between the retailer and manufacturer while I'm left without a working dishwasher after spending $1,500 on a brand-new appliance. I'm simply asking for a fair resolution. read more

I do not recommend this business We purchased a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave after a visit to the Hayward store. We looked at our calendars, we agreed with the salesman on a delivery date. As the delivery date got close we called the store they reassured us that the delivery company would call us by 5 PM that didn't happen, we call the store back the next day they reassure us that the delivery company will contact us by 5 o'clock, again that didn't happen. We call back the next day because Airport Appliance keeps telling us something is going to happen and it doesn't. We speak to our salesman who explains to us an error at the warehouse now make it impossible for us to receive our appliances on the date that we had scheduled three weeks prior. These things happen he says there's nothing we can do. This a huge inconvenience for us to now reschedule another day to miss work for our appliance delivery. We reschedule a new delivery date and move forward. However for another reason, an Airport Appliance error we will not get the refrigerator delivered on the new delivery date. Nothing we can do... totally a different vibe now from salesman. (3 weeks after paying) We now have had to change the delivery date & will not receive the refrigerator. Delivery team arrives and they bring the refrigerator. However they didn't bring the third person (which we paid extra for during purchase) so they will not bring the refrigerator into our home. They request leaving the refrigerator in our garage until they can come back with a third person. The confusion is just beginning.. Then they will not install the stove (hook it up to the gas line) They claim it's because of the location of the gas shut off for the stove which in my home is not directly behind the stove. It's next to the stove inside of the cabinet. No mention of any limitations on installation during purchase of products. The delivery team did offer a person from their company, I could call and pay to hook up the gas and water line as an option. The delivery team didn't have room in the truck to take away the old stove so they left our old stove out in front of our house until they returned to deliver the refrigerator several days later. Yes we paid to have old appliances removed. They did return with the refrigerator and they brought it in. The delivery team did not hook up the water line to the new refrigerator (we purchased installation). They damaged our home during the stove delivery. I spoke to them on the phone. We agreed that they would fix the damage that they created to our home during the refrigerator delivery. When they brought the refrigerator in they did more damage and then they refused to fix the new damage from refrigerator and the old damage from stove. Resolution: In the end we found a handyman to fix the damage. The delivery company reimbursed us for that cost. Airport appliance discounted the refrigerator that arrived with scratches in multiple places, they also refunded the installations & parts charges(stove & refrigerator)because they didn't install them. When we went to the store to make our purchase we got attention when we left after paying we did not receive the same attention. What we would have appreciated is being updated of any change to original agreement. (For example-Delivery date change). Why create installation expectations if they are not realistic. Our kitchen is remodeled, gas valve shut of inside cabinet, water line valve for existing water line is under sink. Having someone follow through when they tell us over the phone that they will call us back. Only the General Sales Manager followed through with call Whatever money saved buy purchasing from this business was not worth all the hassle we went through. read more

They had the appliance that I needed urgently in stock, so I decided to go with them. Picked up from their Hayward warehouse and box/packaging was in good condition. When I got home and unboxed the appliance, I noticed that it's badly damaged. Called immediately and shared photos. They said they will send replacement, but for 3 biz days in a row they couldn't give me a timeline. I called their support at least 6 times and their answers varied from we don't have a return authorization approval yet, to it may take 2 to 4 weeks for replacement. Complete inability to give me a timeline. My emails were not answered, support promised that a manager will call me to give me a timeline - this never happened. Absolute worst experience. Bought a premium Miele here and it worked for two light loads within the first 4 days then machine shows error code and stopped working. Contacted the company immediately. Then two months waiting for service and parts. The store refuses to replace or refund. Still no appliance to use after spending over a thousand dollars. Absolutely worst service. This place is straight trash. Spent 4k in the last year in this store, if there is an issue they disappear. 3 days in a row of waiting for salesmen, customer service, or manager to call me back. I've followed up all 3 days, nobody here cares. Nobody ever calls back. They want to make sure your out of that 5 day return window. Sell and tell you one thing and nothing. Can't even bother to answer the phone 4 out of 5 times. Doesn't matter what time of day you call. Do NOT buy a refrigerator from this company because they may have RATS inside of them. We recently purchased a refrigerator from this company and as soon as they delivered it a rat walked out from the refrigerator into our HOME. We had the first one exterminated and asked SULTAN NABKEL to politely reimburse us for the extermination. He said he would be able to at first and then he went on saying that $160 payment would need to be approved first after we spent over $1000 for the refrigerator. There is now a SECOND rate that needs to be exterminated because it was also inside of the refrigerator and he REFUSED to take care of the second bill for $160 so NOW I'll be posting the lovely photo's of the rats that they brought into our home. Terrible way to do business and didn't provide any customer service. I had a terrible experience with Airport Appliance today. Ordered a refrigerator online. Sent two employees to pick it up. They refused to allow the refrigerator to be picked up, saying the person who ordered must be present with the credit card used. I was NEVER told this and Non of the paperwork referenced their policy. Called to discuss, they simply didn't give a crap. I even asked to speak with the owner and she never took my call or came out when I drove up 45 minutes north to pick it up. I warned them, I would be writing a review tonight if I didn't hear back. A company now a days that doesn't care about customer service, deserves a one star review. I would NOT recommend anyone to purchase from Airport Home Appliances. I have no idea what all the reviews are talking about. this is the distribution center of Airport Home Appliance. it's a warehouse for distribution and customer pick up. we had bought a small kitchen appliance, was instructed to pick it up here. none was available at the hesperian store. there is no showroom here. instructions were technically correct. just a minor detail they didn't mention, suite 100 is actually Door #9, it's on the opposite and rear end of the gigantic warehouse at 3525 Arden Rd. Bought a fridge, it was a lemon. Had to have 3 service calls in the first 2 months and it is still broken. Called to get Airport to take it back, was ghosted like I was an annoying ex. Emailed and got nowhere. Finally I dispute with the credit card company and they send me threatening letters. I tell them to come take it back as required by the CA Lemon laws, and get a run around for another 2 months. Still no end in sight. We purchased GE Profile refrigerator and a 5-year warranty online. The price listed for the package was less than competitors such as BestBuy, Lowes, and Home Depot. After placing the package in the cart, I was surprised to discover, the GE Profile was further discounted and was substantially below their competitors. As advertised the refrigerator was delivered in 2 days by their efficient delivery service. I highly recommend Airport Appliance for your appliance needs. Definitely make sure you check the in-cart price before buying elsewhere. FYI: Our less than 5 year-old LG French Door refrigerator purchased from a competitor had a fourth cooling problem due to the need to replace the compressor for the second time. Lowes Protection Plan repair service took 5-days send a technician and then did not have the needed parts. In addition, LG Global did not respond to our request for assistance even though the compressor was cover by their 5-year warranty. The refrigerator was also covered by a extension to a class action lawsuit. After a month of much work and many contacts with Lowes Protection Plan, we were finally able to obtain payment for the refrigerator having four repair problems. However, LG Global failed to live up to its commitment to provide financial coverage. Although current LG products seem to have fairly high review ratings, we cannot trust the company to back its products. Therfore, we purchased the GE Profile French Door Refrigerator from Airport Appliances and will likely buy a washer and dryer set from them in the near future. read more
