Promised results were never achieved, despite he said that everything looks good now and we can continue to the next steps. During the Invisalign treatment one crown cracked. Failed to replace the crowns, after all the crown that he places damaged 4 other teeth. Said that goes on vacation for 2 weeks and disappeared for 6 weeks posting very questionable photos in his instagram (if I saw this earlier I would never choose his services) and then said that he spent time with the family. Probably I have a different understanding of the family. Imho this doctor should not practice dentistry at all. He is completely uncapable to deliver any kind of acceptable results despite confidently telling you that he will take care of you. Just see my teeth before and after. I spent ~6k, ~1k he returned and created damage for maybe 10k more. What else do you need to know? Front tooth implant fell out thanks to his crowns, which did not fit, but still offered me to install it without explaining consequences of such decision. I honestly writing this message and feel terrible that I trusted this doctor. I hope the Dental Board will review my complain and make a right decision. I do really wish this doctor won't treat anybody the way he treated me. Photos before (all teeth, posterior open bite) and after (-1 implant, posterior open bite, major/severe crack on canine, premolars, molars). After 8 months of complaints and going circles with the Customer Advocate Team I got dismissed by email from Dr. Dickerson who has never seen me in person but flipped the story the way he wanted, omitted and misrepresents the inconvenient facts for his narrative. When I came home to Florida, none of my usual dentists wanted my case. My GP recommended I see Dr Mehta. Now, I live in St Pete, so Palm Harbor is a bit far, but Dr Mehta worked with me for a month on a series of temporaries before casting a softer gold crown, which I've now had for two years. So my loyalty was certainly earned, but honestly the hygienists here also just do a great job for regular checkups and cleanings. Even without bleaching my teeth always look much whiter after a cleaning here than from anywhere else. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a highly skilled and trustworthy dental practice.

A nurse, Lisa, from the senior center on Spyglass suggested Dr Christensen for my dad (he's 86) and I'm so glad she did. He was very professional and friendly. He didn't try to wow him with all the new tech in dental services, he just examined his teeth and asked what the issue was. He fixed my dad's tooth there on the spot and didn't rush through it. He kept asking my dad if he was satisfied and when my dad said no Dr Christensen would just keep making minor adjustments until my dad was happy with the results. The entire staff is friendly and overall it was just a great experience. It is such a relief to finally find a dentist we can trust and won't try to sell extra services just to make a buck. Dr Christensen is my dad's new dentist for the foreseeable future!

They told me my insurance doesn't pay for filling. I call my insurance co. to verify my coverage and was told that I am covered for filling with a $25. copayment. I called VIP for an explanation as to why they told me my insurance would not pay for the filling. I am told I did not get a filling (which I requested), but instead I got what is called a "build up". So my request for extraction if the tooth couldn't be filled was ignored and they did what they wanted to do and bill me for the complete procedure. If I am paying for a service, I expect that exact service. I am very angry.
