There has yet to be an end.....after 9 weeks I'm STILL waiting to hear back from someone. I have never been so mishandled by a company. I'm so disappointed. Been with this dealership for over 7 years now, my car recently has had a lot of issues. Due to there own negligence towards my vehicle. A failing water pump, failing motor, overheating issues, leaving me car less for almost 2 months now. Having to Uber to work, to the grocery store etc. I was not given a time frame of when my car will be ready. This location doesn't contact you about your car, doesn't notify you if the car part is in stock or not, doesn't acknowledge or care for your concerns. Ford has let me down not caring for a long time customer. I've already paid over 800$ to get it fixed and I'm being told I need to pay another $1200 with a discount since they couldn't find the problem the first time in other words, this is a dealership to be not trusted and was told my car was road tested and pressure tested confirming my car was operable. Unfortunately, it wasn't true I was literally about to have another car part fail after I drove it 20 miles, due to them not accessing the problem correctly. I had to return the car. GO TO THIS DEALER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Their negligence could get people KILLED! Friendly Ford in Las Vegas sold me a dangerous vehicle that needed numerous repairs despite it being a certified pre-owned. When I bought the vehicle, they had installed 2 defective tires, left on 2 cracking old tires that had to be replaced within 10,000 miles, did not check fluid levels, did not fix or notice a cracked transmission bracket and a cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoir, did not even check if the radiator cap fit, and it took them 2 weeks to get my van after they broke the sunroof and did not bother to expedite the part. Additionally, they did not even file the title information correctly and now I am being harassed by the company I have my loan through because of this. I sent information on my initial issues to general manager Bill Bosnos and heard nothing back. Although they covered some of the original issues that were identified, it was like pulling teeth, and the service manager lied to me and gaslit me on several occasions. I filed a complaint with Ford but they have made it clear that as a company they do not intend to hold negligent dealers such as Friendly Ford accountable. Friendly Ford has made no attempt to reach out and make this issue right. This has been an extremely expensive and scary process to deal with, as I could have been killed at numerous times because of their neglect. I have also lost many days of work over the issues with the vehicle because Friendly Ford could not be bothered to do their jobs correctly. Additionally, I know of another instance where Friendly Ford installed defective tires on a vehicle. As far as I can tell, Friendly Ford is putting customers at risk, and could kill people with the vehicles they are selling. read more

I dropped my car off in June for a major recall to be worked on, and did not get my vehicle back for over a month. Once my car was returned, I noticed items missing, and damage done to the infotainment unit in my vehicle (which the mechanics heavily implied was my fault, however I had no issues at all before bringing my vehicle in). Back in January I bought a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 from them. I couldn't be happier. I grew up in a family who ran dealership in southern California since the early 1920's. And this Dealership for everything I saw from them, was top notch. The salesman was outstanding. He was polite and just an all around nice guy. He got me in the truck with no hassle. He took his time with me and made me feel that my time was important. He showed me multiple trucks and never made me feel rushed or pressured. This was one of the best experience I have had at a dealership in a long time. And there are a lot of bad places in Las Vegas, but this is certainly not one of them. I even took my truck in for its first round of regular maintenance and that was easy and didn't take long at all. I highly recommend Friendly Ford and I couldn't be a happier customer. Nothing went right. I've been going there for years, and Joseph sparks tells me i have to pay 25.00 more for an oil change and tire rotation because the entire guard on the bottom has to come out. I know the truck has an access panel. So he was trying to boost his commission by 30.00. He "talked to his boss" and gave me the regular price. Lost my trust there. He told me it would be an hour so I waited. I asked the receptionist after 2 hours and he finally came out and told me it would be another 45 minutes. I saw other people show up after me, get way more services done, then leave before me. When my car was finished he didn't even come to talk to me. My brakes are worn out and need service. I had to read it in my paper work. He also took the liberty to add a note stating my next oil change would be 100.00. My truck is paid off and I will not return to that dealership to buy a new one. Future service is definitely out of the question. And yes I've shared it will all my friends and family. All so he could make 25 more bucks in his commission check. I previously left a five star review for this dealership after purchasing a Ford F250 here, but this dealership deserves negative stars. Friendly Ford used my credit card to pay for registration DMV fees amounting to $1206.00 without my authorization! The way I found out was by looking at my banking statement. Imagine my surprise. I immediately contacted Bryan (sales rep) who asked me who my finance manager was. I told him my finance manager was Chris Montalvo. Bryan told me he spoke to Chris. Chris told Bryan I had authorized him to use my card and I gave him my credit card information for that reason. That is a complete lie. If I had agreed to pay for registration, I would have included that in the financing of my vehicle. I work in a profession that requires high integrity, and this is a complete lie. I had agreed to pay only $60,000 out the door, including taxes, license, registration, and fees. As a matter of fact, I remember my interaction with Chris Montalvo was not very pleasant at all. After agreeing to pay $60,000 price for my truck, I was greeted by Chris who guided my little girl and me to the finance office. Chris asked me what I did for a living and I told him I was in law enforcement. Chris told me he was a volunteer firefighter in the past and we chatted for a bit about our professions. This was clearly a tactic to gain my trust as it is expected that a firefighter is of high integrity. Chris then told me he would get me in and out of the finance office quick and easy. I told him great, because my family and I were tired and hungry. Chris kept me there in his office for over 45 minutes, trying to sell me warranties and maintenance that I did not want or need. My little girl was in tears because she was tired and hungry from waiting hours just to make a deal on the price of my truck. Chris said something to the effect of, "Yeah, I'd be crying too if I didn't have warranties on my new truck." I let that comment slide because I just wanted the deal to be over. The rest of my family was waiting outside the dealership texting me and asking me how much longer it was going to take because they were hungry. Chris lowered the price of the warranties and maintenance several times just to try and get me to purchase it. I declined it each time and told him I only wanted to pay for the truck including taxes, license, registration, and fees for only $60k. He continued to keep me there like I was going to change my mind or something. Chris did not inform me that I would be paying a separate price for my registration fees. I would have remembered that. Mainly because I just spent several hours haggling for a price for my new truck. I clearly stated that I would agree to purchase my truck for only $60k including taxes, license, registration, and fees. I made sure to get verbal acknowledgement from Chris that the registration of my vehicle was included in my purchase price. Chris then asked my how I'd like my registration to be taken care of. Chris told me Friendly Ford offered a courtesy service to take care of the registration for me and I even availed it. I left his office and nearly drove away with my new truck before Chris flagged me down and told me he forgot to get me to pay for the down payment. So I had to go back to the finance office again to put $5k down as a down payment. I finally walked away from the dealership with my new truck thinking I had agreed to pay $60,000 including taxes, license, registration, and fees. That was clearly not the case because I am writing a one star review. I was told I would be receiving a call from Chris Montalvo. Nearly three weeks and several inquiries later, still no call. I was then told I would be contacted by a guy named Pete. I'm waiting and still no call. At this point, not only do I feel cheated, but it seems that Friendly Ford is making no attempt to remedy the situation. I don't know what they did here, but whatever it is, it is highly unethical and down right deceptive. And using my credit card information to pay for something I did not authorize is downright illegal. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Ford Corporate. read more

I visited this Dealership back in March 2019. I am writing this review in June because I am Still receiving Letters from Banks in applications that were ran. I have a total of 12 letters already from Banks that either declined or were my Credit has been ran. This Friendly Ford running my Credit so many times it has dramatically impacted my Credit and lowering my points -70 I understand if maybe 5 Banks were contacted to a credit Financing but 10+ is unbelievable. My experience with dealership has not been great. If I could recall the name of my sales person I would mention him. My salesman was instigating that I get Brand new which was what I was looking for, but at the time of the sit down he came back to me with very high interests rate that did not match my calculations on my score. When I asked over the phone if I could make an appointment instead of getting in line, they said yes. I've been taking my car here for service since I bought it in 2019, and the past service was not friendly at all. Came for an oil change and tire rotation but as I waited for nearly two hours they finally walk in and say they can't do a tire change because my lug nuts are broken and can't rotate them till I purchase another set of lug nuts. Why should I purchase another 4 set of lug nuts when Ford did my last rotation, they should have replaced it since they touched it last but no they did not. So I decided not to do a tire rotation and just asked for an oil change. Which took another hour so total of 3 hours it took. Well, pretty simple. You get lured in by a internet only associate who once you get to the dealership he leaves immediately and you get stuck with the real sales team. The sales team sits down with me and immediately says(without running my credit) we can offer you 6.9% on a new Explorer. I said didn't the other guy tell you I was pre-approved with Ford Credit and you can imagine the nonsense that happens after that. Including insisting they can't get ahold of Ford Credit to verify my pre-approval # or give us a 0.00% APR rate. Left there and drove home and went to an honorable dealership the next day(Sunday) and got 0.0% APR with my preapproval number from Ford without any shenanigans or smoke screens. Knowledgeable staff has been helpful so far. No complaints here and loving my new vehicle. Only thing holding back a 5 star rating would be the badgering about filling out a survey of the salesman. He must have asked about 7-8 times about his survey and to give him the highest rating in order to win a vacation somewhere. I want to start this review by saying before this experience i would have easily given friendly ford 4 stars. But apparently that does not extend to their body shop. We brought one of our company vehicles in for an estimate for a replacement of a dented door. It is the rear door of a white transit connect so you would think pretty simple. First we were told the door was back ordered three weeks, ok no problem we can wait. Then we make appointment when part is there. We get there and drop off. Hours later they call. Sorry we ordered wrong door it will be three more days. Three days later they call, it is all ready but it cost more. I go down there to pick up, and the extra charges are because the estimator didnt know right from left and even though they had it there put left down instead of right. Also the reason we had to wait three extra days. They charged us $100 for badging and labor of installation of badging, but the badging was in a box in the back of the van. When called out on this instead of taking care of us they charged our insurance extra (who do they think pays for the insurance?) and said that they would refund for the badging, only the check wont be here for 4 weeks. And the worst part of the whole experience was there employee Erica who made me feel like I WAS INCONVENIENCING HER. I called and left a message for the General Manager and got a phone call back from a salesman. Looked exactly like the pictures and how it was described. Everything worked wonderfully and the van was a spectacular smooth drive. Larry made this simple for us purchasing the vehicle. We also told him if you have any more transit vans we would like to buy more right away. As soon as I'm driving my new van home I get a call immediately from Larry regarding another van just like I bought and everything. I heard the manager went and got the van himself all the way from California and drove it straight back to Vegas. I believe he purchased the vehicle as well but I wasn't to sure on that. Just on our word he was ready to get us anything we needed. I was stunned and so grateful at the same time. Larry gave it a full inspection, replaced all tires, fully detailed the car to pristine condition and was ready on the day Larry said it would be. I couldn't believe the service I got from Friendly Ford. This is how you should be treated when you purchase a vehicle! i was going to wait to write this review until my check came in to not impede me getting it but since it's ready now, i will. after reading the reviews on yelp i'm not surprised after my own terrible experience with DAWN HALIBURTON in service. i originally brought my car in on 5/18 for routine maintenance and i had a bubble in the side wall of the rear passenger tire. the car had just hit 20k miles and still has another 5 years of prepaid warranty. DAWN HALIBURTON in service is who "helped" me. she told me she would have her service techs take a look at it but she suspected i may have been the one to cause damage as the front passenger rim has scuffs on it, yet the rear passenger did not. i already knew i didn't cause damage to the tire and i already knew the tire was defective. she told me she would send the tire to continental and should they determine the tire is in face defective-which i already knew, then they would refund me the $200 i spent which i shouldn't have had to spend in the first place. DAWN HALIBURTON has been the least communicative person i've ever had the misfortune of meeting and she's a liar, i would call and she might answer or she might call me back. on 6/16 at 1pm she told me my refund should be ready for pick up the next day, on 6/17 at 10am she said "my manager is refusing to refund you until continental gives us the green light. sorry!" excuse me ??? then why would you even tell me it should be ready when it wasn't even approved to begin with?! i called again on 7/13 and she texted me back this time and said she was waiting for response from continental, why do i have to badger her for her to give me an update? this is $200 we're talking! in january $200 wouldn't have been a lot but NOW with this pandemic, $200 helps me so much and she's taking her sweet time to give me a simple update!! on 6/21 i texted her asking if there's any update and she said i was only reimbursed a portion of the money i had to shovel out in may just to get a new tire when i shouldn't have had to to begin with!!!!! she then gives me the number to continental and the claim number and said "if you have further questions call them" to which i told her "no YOU are supposed to answer my questions" she very clearly caught an attitude when i said that and it's reflected in her texts. THEN on 6/22 she texted me and said "$143.62 will be mailed to you to the address on file" not only is she now giving me a different amount but she never even asked me if i wanted it mailed or picked up!! she backpedals and said "when they print the check, i will let you know when you can pick it up" i was so completely flabbergasted reading her texts and how she's constantly back peddling because she can't tell me any single thing straight. i emailed this exact review to service@friendlyfordlv.com and i called the receptionist asking for the GM's email but apparently she gave me the wrong one as i repeated it TWICE to her and she said yes that's correct. i haven't heard back from service and i doubt i will so i've come to yelp, hopefully someone high up or just other than DAWN HALIBURTON can help me. read more

Friendly Ford has excellent auto maintenance service. My wife's Navigator began making a grinding noise and I took to it Friendly Ford after another mechanic could not diagnose the problem. It was 4 pm in the afternoon with a scheduled out of state family trip (Thanksgiving) the next day. After explaining my situation, the team went above and beyond to fix the 4x4 system. I am leasing my car from them. The best service I have ever received. I take my car in for oil changes the staff is reliable and friendly as the name implies. I made the mistake of having ford country do an oil change. Turns out they screwed up and put in the wrong oil. Friendly ford caught the problem and cleaned out the oil lines at no charge. I called around to a few Ford dealerships getting price quotes on oil changes. I was quoted a price of $100 over the phone, which was $20 cheaper than Gaudin Ford. Gaudin Ford is also about 15 minutes closer to my house. I drove up to Friendly Ford for the quoted $100 oil change. I met with the service advisor who told me it was going to be $130. I told him I was quoted $100 over the phone just the day prior. His response was that whoever I talked to gave me the wrong quote. The kicker is, when I called for a quote, I was given an inaccurate price of $87, but the service advisor called me back after verifying the cost and he then quoted me the $100. Also, being that I purchased my car used, there is no record of services done on my car other than 2 recall fixes. I was asking about wether or not any fluids needed changing. My car is a 2011 with 36,000 miles on it. He claimed that most likely the fluids in my car were 7 years old (!!!) and should be flushed...Transmission Flush ($200), Brake Flush ($150), Coolant Flush ($180), and Power Steering Flush ($140). They also charge $150 to do a diagnosis to a transmission, which doesn't get applied to the repair if done there. So, instead of actually checking the conditions of the fluids, they were recommending I do all these flushes because at this point "it's time that is your enemy, not the miles". While in the waiting room I called a different Ford dealership, told them the year and mileage of my car, and asked about time vs mileage and fluid flushes. The other dealership laughed when I told him what I was being told. "Fluids aren't milk, they don't go sour...especially in that short of time frame and low mileage". I opted just for the oil change. When I got my vehicle, I received the paperwork, with all greens, even though I was advised to do all the fluid flushes. The Service Advisor did not review the services and inspection completed with me. Since I didn't opt for any revenue generating fluid flushes, I was given the bill and told to have a nice day. I will be finding a different place for my future services and vehicle purchases. read more

I had a 9:30 am appointment for a recall on June 7th 2022. I brought my car in on the evening of June 6th around 6:30pm knowing that it was having to do with the oil. I was told it would be about a 2.5 hour process. I waited until 1:30 as I had not heard from anyone. I called my service advisor Bryan I got VM and gave him an opportunity to call me back. After 2.5 hours of no return call I called again and asked to speak to the Service Manager again I got VM of a gentleman named George I left a VM asking for a call back again no call back. So after an hour I drove over there this was at 4:30 today and was told that my car was done. It was completed at about 3:30. When I was able to speak to George he said since I wasn't waiting they seemed to forget about it as they were doing people that were waiting. So a 2.5 hour process turned into 9 hours and nothing had to be replaced. And to boot all after the car was finished I still received no call. I would recommend not going there for service. read more
