I visited Sahara CJD on Fri 6/26. After using the website to search for cars, I found what I was looking for and submitted an inquiry. Manny texted me shortly after wanting to set up an appt. My appt was set for 2:30 on Friday. I showed up at 12:45 and was met by a friendly salesman that directed me to Manny. Upon meeting Manny I was introduced to his training associate Romeo, who would then continue to shadow Manny throughout the process. After the application was filled out, I was offered a cold bottle of water (or coffee if I wanted) and told to wait a couple minutes while the two of them went to get the car. A few minutes later Manny shows up and asks me to follow him outside. Just outside, under the tent, they had staged the vehicle beautifully. All doors were open and ready for inspection. While I inspected the car, Manny and Romeo were going over features and talking up the vehicle (but not overly pushy about it). After showing my how to drive the vehicle (I am an EV noob, so I wasnt quite positive how the whole thing works, and both Manny and Romeo were very patient and explained how electrics work. The test drive exceeded my expectations! I was very impressed by the vehicle, and both associates knowledge of the vehicle. Manny is quite observant of body language and mannerisms, and quickly adapts to match energies. We ran into some snags with that vehicle, mostly my credit, so that vehicle didnt pan out. Manny then probed for more info on exactly what I needed, did a very thorough needs analysis with me, and found additional options. All in all I inspected and drove 4 different options, all the while Manny and Romeo were talkative and not pushy at all. I was at this dealership for over 4 hours with these gentlemen, trying to find viable options. I was never belittled, talked down to, or made to feel uncomfortable with these guys. Although I did not end up purchasing from this dealership (again, due to my own credit-my issue, not theirs), I have nothing but positive things to say about this experience, and would gladly send people to see Manny and Romeo if they are looking for a no pressure, easy sales experience. With all that being said, I did not get the chance to experience what F&I is like at this dealership, so that could be a totally different story. Chris than began to explain the reason way they were trying to beat me out of thousands of dollars on repair to my Jeep that was not needed. Chris than began to tell me that I needed a new transmission, that his tech from metal shaving in my transmission pan, the new transmission is going to cost me $8,200. I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience here was so misleading and concerning that I feel people deserve a warning. The EV I was shown was advertised as a clean, brand new vehicle, yet nobody disclosed that it had already gone through two battery replacements. For an electric vehicle, that type of history is major and absolutely should be disclosed upfront. Instead, it was treated like it did not matter, which felt extremely dishonest. On top of that, the salesperson ran my credit without my permission. I provided my information for the purpose of discussing numbers and seeing what options existed, but I was never told my credit would actually be pulled. This was done before any real agreement or clarity on pricing, and without a clear verbal or written authorization. That alone is a major breach of trust. Between the lack of transparency about the vehicle's history and the unauthorized credit inquiry, I left feeling completely misled. Actions like this are the reason businesses end up being reported to the Better Business Bureau. Customers should never have to uncover critical information on their own, nor should their credit be accessed without explicit consent. We bought a Chevrolet Tahoe from this Chrysler Dodge Ram two years ago. Since the purchase, we have encountered numerous issues with the truck. Specifically, we discovered that an extended warranty was included in our contract despite explicit instructions that we did not want it, which apparently you need if you buy from this dealership because the transmission blew out two weeks ago. Upon inspection by my mechanic, it was revealed that the transmission fluid was completely black, suggesting that a proper evaluation and inspection were never conducted prior to the sale. Our mechanic was surprised that the vehicle operated as long as it did given these conditions. It is clear that the vehicle did not undergo a thorough inspection. I advise not to buy from them, go to any other dealership on that street that wont screw you over like these guys. read more

I bought my 2025 Ram 1500 from them in Nov 2025. Since then I have had to deal with their service department numerous times. I want to be fully transparent: I like my truck, and I understand that there are times when things happen (like recalls) and that's just life. But the service department at Sahara Ram is so bad that I would never recommend anyone purchase a vehicle or take their vehicle there for service. Let me also say that they may do fine work, however what they are terrible at is customer service and communication. I had a recall for a tow control module that was faulty. I specifically purchased this truck to tow my boat. I notified the dealership as soon as the recall was announce (and the announcement said that parts were available). I scheduled the recall repair and an oil change, and they had me come in and didn't bother to tell me they could not do the recall repair until after the oil change ($100) was done. They said they had to order the part and would contact me when it was in. I check back in 6 weeks later to see when the part would be there and the person I spoke to said I should be on a list, because they only get 2 of those parts a week to complete the recall repairs. I asked them to check where I was on the list and guess what - I wasn't even on it. So he added me to the list. I waited another month before I check back again and I was then #18 on the list, and oh by the way the dealership was now only getting 1 part a week for that warranty repair. At that rate I would be waiting until August 2026 for the part. Did I mention that when they receive the parts they prioritize putting them in affected unsold trucks first? Screw the people who have already bought the truck and rely on it for towing a trailer, we just want to sell more trucks. Overall, horrible experience with this dealership. I went to Towbin Dodge/Ram in Henderson and they had me taken care of in just over 1 week, were very communicative, and awesome customer service. Never use Sahara Ram for service...never. read more

They had my car for over a week, and the very next day after picking it up, the A/C didn't work at all. It went from working intermittently to completely dead. That's not just poor service--it's unacceptable. To make matters worse, at 11 p.m. that night, the car alarm started going off repeatedly, disturbing my neighbors and forcing me to leave the car unlocked overnight just to stop the noise. These issues were not happening before I brought it in--this is the direct result of their carelessness. Today (7/14/25), I called and spoke to the service manager, Jared, who was completely dismissive. He didn't listen, didn't acknowledge any responsibility, and made it clear my concerns weren't going to be taken seriously. After spending thousands of dollars with Sahara Dodge over the years, this is how they treat long-time customers and a military veteran? SHAMEFUL!! Everything started with a simple inquiry on the Sahara website. it gave me an instant deal number and after entering my info, they contacted me and scheduled a test drive. I was very clear that it would be a TEST DRIVE only and no numbers would be discussed. The test drive, with a sleep Eloy, was good and I actually liked the truck. When we got back, I was ready for them to push to numbers, but still very firm on not discussing anything, or making a decision. I wanted to go home and think about the drive and what I felt the truck was worth to me. My mistake was I gave Eloy the courtesy of meeting his MGR Chris. too bad for Eloy, Chris does not much appear as a MGR or act like a MGR wanting to sell a truck. He seemed a bit upset when I stood my ground about not making a decision now, and that if they would email me(or text me) an OTD number, we could discuss a trade in and payment afterwards. I was clear that I wanted to keep the transaction in 3 or 4 seperate transactions. Chirs got very offset by this and said I was going to shop around his numbers. I wasn't planning on doing that, and if he didn't give any numbers I was considering that as him not wanting to earn my business. Then I repeated that all i wanted to do was test drive the truck, get an OTD with no add-ons emailed to me so I could think everything over. This set him off as Chris said that the only way they sell vehicles, is with add-ons. ( I believe that add-ons are optional and somewhere it says that it is illegal to tie the sale of a vehicle to purchasing optional add-ons.) Anyway, don't waste your time with this stealership. So I contacted the sales rep and he said he would take care of it and to come down. On Monday August 11th I took my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude into Sahara Chrysler Dodge located at 5050 W. Sarah Ave to have my radio looked at and perform the 20,000-mile service. I was told by Jarred Meckley (service manager) that the diagnostic on the radio would cost me $250 and that the 20K Service would cost me $860 providing they did not find anything wrong. Well once they fixed the problem with my radio, Sean the Service Advisor told me that my Fuel Injectors and Spark plugs were a little corroded with carbon. The injectors could be cleaned but my spark plugs would need to be replaced. He said since the Jeep is 6 years old they recommended the Engine Coolant be flushed and replaced along with the Brake system. After all the work was completed and I went to pick it up I was handed a bill of $2054.75. Well lucky me I did not have a heart attack. I asked why was it so much. The larges charge was for replacing my 4 spark plugs. He told me they must remove several engine parts to get to the spark plugs. Parts = $181.76 and Labor = $652.70. 4 spark plugs at AutoZone is only $64.00. I checked KBB.com and they said this process should only cost about $428.00 total. Now I guess my complaint is that they told me what had to be done and I agreed to it but I was not told approximately how much it would cost. I also feel that they may have taken advantage of me with the Labor Cost of replacing 4 spark plugs. I guess they only care about making money and not that a customer might be retired and on a fix income. read more
