The food is always so good, the service is great even when they are busy. It's crazy.

I met up with a handful of friends for a nice evening happy hour last week at Friscos. This is like a sports bar right out of the movies. Sports pictures, gear, and memorabilia hangs on the walls. There are huge TV's everywhere you turn -- all were dialed in to a different sports event or game. We sat down at a long tall table and order a round of drinks. I had a few rum and cokes which were tasty but not very strong. My brother is a beer fanatic and loves all the options that they offer. He tried multiple beers throughout the night and seemed to enjoy them all. My cousins ordered a couple specialty holiday cocktails -- they seemed to enjoy them. The pricing of all the drinks was fair -- their happy hour discounts cover rails, wine, and some beer selections. We order a number of appetizers -- the bbq wings, old bay wings, cheese fries, and pizza. My brother also ordered the chicken pot pie entree. Everything was a-okay -- nothing was remarkable but we definitely enjoyed the meal. The prices were just right. The waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. Whenever we were running low on drinks our waitress swept in and prompted us for another round. The barstaff however seemed to turn our drinks around a bit slowly. Our waitress apologized for the delays and mentioned that the bar was behind on drinks although there didn't seem to be that many people at the restaurant. Everything considered, I enjoyed my evening here at Frisco's. It wouldn't be my first choice out of bars in the area but I wouldn't be disappointed if friends wanted to swing past. read more

The manager here is amazing and he knows customer service. Our visit started out rocky but he made it much better. When we arrived it was not crowded but comfortable and we were seated. It took about a good 10 minutes for a waitress to come over and y'all know I had the words can I see the manager out as soon as she approached the table. What made me even more upset is that a family came in after us, got seated, and a waitress came right over. Side Note: The homie doesn't like it when I have complaints but he all for the freebies though lol. The manger already knew what was up when he approached the table and apologized genuinely and gave us two free apps. Now that's how you reel a customer back in. I didn't get his name but he was a younger white guy and he did his job as a manager. Even checked on us while we ate and conversed. The waitress was good too, she redeemed herself and that's why she got a goot tip lol. We came around HH special time so we got Wings, Nachos (HH price), Tater Tots (HH price), and Crab Dip. Everything was pretty decent, I enjoyed the nachos and tater tots because we got crab dip on them . I will definitely return and I appreciate them making a customer want to come back. read more

All I have to say is that Everything was super delicious and fresh. The only issue that we had it was that my side of bacon and my husband's cheesy grits didn't come out on time. However, management took care of it. We didn't even have to ask for managers, They came to our table and apologize for missing our sides and removed them from our check. I've got to say that every time that we come over here the service has been excellent. From now on this place is our hidden jewel to have brunch over the weekend since most of the places are packed and Frisco always have availability. We don't have to wait more than five minutes for a table (we are a family of four). If you're looking for a place to have brunch this is the place. Believe me you will enjoy it. read more

Love Frisco's! Our first visit was with my whole family and none of us were disappointed in anything. I've been back a few times and have gotten takeout as well. Everything has been great. My favorites are the tuna tacos, tuna nachos, fried pickles, chicken pot pie, jambalaya. ....the burgers are good. Excellent spot. I've been really disappointed at so many restaurants that offer delivery now. I expect a slight decrease in quality when it has to be packed up and delivered, but a lot of restaurants just don't seem to even care to try. I seriously walked in at 7:30p.m. on a Thursday football night with BALTIMORE RAVENS at game 13 . My husband ( die hard RAVENS fan ) sat at the bar for a full 15min. NO bartender to be seen. The bar was full. 15 min. No barkeep???? We left. Dude next to us said, " yeah good idea " he left before us! No wonder every business in this chain mall goes belly up. Every time I go to Maryland I like to try something new and I'm glad my friends recommended this place! We have had it a few times now and we ALWAYS get the mozzarella sticks because they are huge, and literally the best I've ever had. Their burgers and chicken sandwich are always fresh and flavorful, and it's easy to just go and pick up. I highly recommend this place as they have a variety of foods and I'm sure it's all just as good as what I have had so far! read more

First off let me start by saying that if you want a place with GREAT game day specials and brunch drinks this is the place! Drinks are always strong and the specials on beers, rails, and brunch drinks are unbeatable in this area. They have a large menu to choose from and offer grilled wings which is hard to find when eating out. Now to the bad the service can use ALOT of work. Every time we come the host is always attentive and good with grabbing menus and seats for us, however when you get to the tables the service stops. The most recent time we went there was a total of FOUR PEOPLE working the bar but we weren't even acknowledged after sitting there for 10 mins so we decided to leave. I want to give this place more stars but it's hard to give a 5 star rating to a place where the staff doesn't know you exist. read more

I like this place more and more. The food is always delicious and well made. The menu specials are fun and always good. The ambience and beverages inside are perfect for going out for a game or just to dine with family and friends. I'm giving this 3 stars for food/beer, 5 stars for service. I came here in late November/early December and had the pear and gorgonzola pizza. I asked for it with no onions and our server, Cory, made sure the pizza was perfect. Fast forward to today, I went back for lunch with my husband. I ordered the arugula and goat cheese salad, and the waitress said "You're my customer who doesn't like onions, right? The salad has onions, do you want them removed?" I was amazed that she remembered me two months after my last visit. Cory is a fantastic server, I strongly recommend asking to be in her section if she's working. Okay, on to the food. It's solidly okay. Nothing great, nothing terrible. We tried the pretzel rods during our last visit, they were kind of disappointing (I was comparing them to a brewpub in Honolulu that had AMAZING pretzels with beer cheese, though, so maybe better if you are going in with a totally open opinion). We had the Holy Trinity today; the queso and salsa were really good, guac was mediocre. They do offer chip refills, though, so it's a pretty good deal. My salad was over dressed, but totally edible. The goat cheese croquettes were AMAZING (i let my husband have one, his response was 'holy goat balls!') and worth getting the salad for those alone. We tried out Frisco Tap House for drinks the other night with our friends and it was just okay. The lighting was super bright which bothered all of us for some reason... we felt like they should have had toned it down a bit. I know it sounds silly, but definitely was a miss if you're trying to attract an older crowd or place to grab drinks after 7pm. I could see how this is a good place for groups as it seemed to accommodate many mid size parties, but there were a ton of kids in the restaurant and it was past 9pm. That was definitely strange to us as well. They also had several TVs if you wanted to catch a game here. We liked the communal large table in the bar area for seating and a more casual feel. The beer selection was wide and decent. We did not try any food but the burgers looked pretty good. read more

'Nother Update: New happy hour menu and specials have been much better and I've bumped my review back to its original score. I'm still avoiding the brunch though. Update: Came for brunch, the soup of the day (potato leek) was disappointing and the bacon and eggs Bloody Mary didn't have the old bay rim as advertised and the hard boiled eggs weren't pickled. Took ages for food to get out as well. Lowering my score by a star. Have stopped by a few times with my wife. The brew selection is exceptional and seems to rotate quite often. I've managed to experiment and try some interesting local beers and meads here. Service is excellent every time I've been here and I was very surprised when the waitress remembered my wife's preferences when we hadn't been here in over two and a half months! Food is the one weakness of the local. It isn't bad but there is nothing that stands out as exceptional or notable. I've noticed some inconsistencies as sometimes the food is really good, and other times mediocre. Overall the flatbread pizzas tend to be good and the most recent burger I've had was delicious. In the past (months ago) I've been disappointed with the fish and chips. In summary it is a great place to try new beers, to go with friends. Service in my experience has been excellent and food ranges from edible to delicious. Prices are reasonable though a little on the high side for the inconsistent quality/freshness of the food. That said I'll continue to patronize here, but it is not on my list of personal favorites. read more

The food here is also very good. Basic pub-grub, over all it's mostly basic stuff done well (burgers, pizzas, nachos, etc...). My daughter and I ventured inside for a mommy daughter date night! I've noticed Frisco Tap House so many times I'm the area! I went to my trusty yelp app and saw that there was no wait time, so we headed in! Upon entry, we were greeted right away and seated very quickly! We were seated in an extremely open area where the bar was located! It was very bright inside! I wasn't so much of a fan of the lighting! Our server was very nice and attentive! I don't remember his name though! LoL! But my daughter ordered pizza knots which she loved! I ordered the seafood potato skins! They weren't the best! Would not chose again! My daughter ordered the kids chicken quesadilla and French fries! She loved them! But she's 9, so...I ordered the fried green tomato salad and chicken tenders! The salad was pretty good but the fried green tomatoes could have been seasoned better! I did like it though! The food was ok! This is a tap house so drinks are probably their superstar! I'd first like to say that there was NO wait! Nowadays due to the pandemic, everywhere you go has the longest wait since everyone is excited to get out and about. My boyfriend and I received the greatest service from Rianna. She really made our first experience at a restaurant in a long time so worth getting out. She is much appreciated and deserves recognition. The customer service overall from the hostess to the staff was more than awesome. NOW! About the food, OMG! We ordered the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta... That dish was the most flavorful, succulent pasta I've ever tasted at a restaurant. That's an understatement itself. The food temperature was like I cooked it at home, the shrimp and chicken were HUGEEEE, it was so saucy and cheesy but no too much so it was just right. At most restaurants the pasta are semi cold and businesses are stingy when it comes to seafood but not at Frisco's!! I don't know who the chef was but that dish deserves 5 stars plus an extra 5 stars because it was really that good. I live 30 mins away from the restaurant and that's not including traffic BUT I would fight traffic just to get that pasta! This may sound like an exaggeration but I swear it's simply the truth. Decent Restuarant. They had a large selection of beers that you could peruse through on their tablet. However, the beers needed a description about each one so I would have a better idea of what I was ordering without having to ask the server repeatedly. The server was nice, friendly, and attentive though. The animal pizza lacked visual impact but had a variety of flavor. It would have been better with more french fries tossed all over it. Decided to give Friscos a try for brunch. Went with family and ordered a waffle and chicken and a griddle of potatoes chorizos and peppers. The food came out VERY fast! I was pleasantly surprised, but no complaints. The chicken strips were on the smaller end, and the griddle was also quite small. It was mostly potatoes and very little chorizo and peppers. Ate half the potatoes and everything else. Generally, I found their sizes to be smaller than what you would get in the area, but perhaps what the right serving size should be. Also ordered a burrito and omelette to go, those also looked quite small once the packages were opened at home. In terms of taste, it was okay. I loved their butter. I don't eat butter actually, but forgot to ask that it be removed from the pancake, but the little graze was delicious, I think it was cinnamon butter. The service was nice, the lady cautious and attentive. I really appreciated her making it a fun event. It's a tap house, so the ambience is was you would expect. Jam packed for Saturday brunch, teams stopping by for a meal after a game.... It's a good place for a large crowd and certainly if you like beer they got you. For the life of me I can't figure out why on a big game Monday Night this place was practically empty. It bothers me to no end to not know. We thought we'd catch Cowboys/Redskins at a bar with great beers, good food and screaming fans. Frisco provided on most fronts. The beers I had were great and at the same time reasonably priced for a Tap bar. I had the house brand Reckless and was super satisfied with the beer and the $4.50 price point. We ate standard bar foods burgers, wings and pizza all of which came out of the kitchen pretty fast, hot and damn good. I highly recommend the wings which are grilled not fried and have a world of flavor. I'm sure to be back, there are another 90 beers I need to try and 200 rabid screaming football fans missing. read more

I did not drink, but hubby says their bar is extensive and over 100 different beer options. Staggering. Impressive. Their menu also does not disappoint! We started with their chicken wings, which had some Asian chili kick to it, and lots of flavor. If their blue cheese wasn't homemade, it sure tasted it! They have build your own pizzas, so hubby got a four cheese white pizza and added chorizo!! It was solo different and so delicious! I had the grilled chicken mozzarella panini with onion rings and their house chipotle aioli sauce. Um, I intended on eating only half and I should've known my pig self better. I ate it all, no apologies!! Price point is very reasonable (my sandwich plus onion rings was under $10), and if you are into sports bars, they have TVs all around playing various sport games. For entrees we ordered pulled pork, Reuben sandwich, made to order pizza and the crab cake meal. They have a huge menu for on tap for beer which is a little overwhelming since beer is not my forte. I have mixed feelings for this restaurant. I have heard great things about Frisco Tap House in Columbia, but this location is so much more convenient for me. I have been here a few times and have had a different experience each time. The Good: I've walked in to no wait every visit (Friday night, early afternoon on Saturday, Saturday night). This could be a good thing or perhaps a tell tale sign of a mediocre business. Either way, I like not having to wait. Nice beer selection which also features some local breweries. Spacious, open concept with plenty of seating. Also, plenty of parking! The Okay: Food is average. I have never had anything that has blown my socks off. Fish and chips were served piping hot, but overall average in taste. Rose chicken was also good, not amazing. Beeramisu was an interesting take on tiramisu. Service has been hit or miss. The Questionable: Upon my first visit, I asked if there was any type of cocktail menu. I was informed that while they had a full bar, I had to specifically request a drink for them to make as they do not have an official cocktail menu. Come on! Every restaurant has some type of cocktail menu! Why even have a full bar? At least come up with a few "Tap House" inspired cocktails for people that do not primarily consume beer. Speaking of beer, the beer menu is very hard to read. It is posted on big screen T.V.'s on the side wall. If you're sitting at a booth, you have to angle your head up to read. Forget about seeing if you are seated in the middle of the restaurant. Also, there are no descriptions for the beers, unlike Victoria Gastro Pub or Ale House Columbia. I'm sure this method is easy for switching seasonal selections and environmentally friendly; however, it is not user friendly. read more

Good food, great service! This was my first time here and they have plenty of COVID precautions in place. The seating is sectioned, there's sanitizer everywhere and the staff are all wearing masks. There's outdoor seating as well. Tons of beer on tap but I didn't have any. We got the tap house wings to start and they were large, hot and juicy. I Had the bacon blue burger and was cooked perfectly medium and seasoned well. The fries are fresh cut and not bad but not very crispy. Babe had the Frisco chicken sandwich and said it had plenty of flavor, and very juicy. The onion rings were fresh but could use a dipping sauce. I would absolutely get all of these items again. Spacious and clean this is a good venue for group gatherings or more intimate couplings. Plenty of parking in front and all the waitstaff were polite & prompt with service. Great place to watch your favorite sporting events. The menu has a variety of items to choose from. Portions weren't skimpy & my onion rings were on point.
