Third location and food definitely hit the spot. Let me tell you if you haven't tried Miss Toya's yet please stop by at one of her locations. This location gives off a simple clean vibe compared to the other two locations I have been. Service was great and my aunt was happy she finally tried Miss Toya's and enjoyed it.

If you haven't been here you are missing out! The waitress - Haven, was a super star! Professional friendly and amazing. And the food!! OMG!! Nothing was average. Every dish we had left our jaws dropped they were so great!! I live 70 miles away and will come back here next weekend!! Top notch !!

Miss Toyas Southern Kitchen is a great addition to Anne Arundel County. This is my 2nd visit in for brunch and they have made some great changes. They have launched a bottomless brunch + bottomless cocktails option on Saturday and Sundays. We ordered a little bit of everything and every dish delivered. The Creole wings were my favorite, the half-way oysters were fresh and delicious, and the deviled eggs and fried shrimp hit just right. The shrimp & grits were a standout, the French Toast Your Way was amazing, and the honey butter pancakes were fluffy perfection. The snow crab legs were juicy and flavorful, and the Cajun shrimp alfredo was a hit and my husband loved it. We paired it all with bottomless cocktails, including espresso martinis and strawberry mimosas, and every drink was goo! we definitely left buzzed. They also have live jazz so it's a vibe. The staff were very welcoming warm and provided amazing service. Once they had some tvs to the bar and hire a few more staff, this is going to be such a vibe.

Okaaaay Miss Toya's! My mentee and I came here for a dinner before she traveled back to campus for the semester and she wanted to come here for our last meal together. I made reservations via Open Table without issue, and she arrived first (the reservation was in my name), and she had no issue being seated without me being present. She and I actually ordered the same thing (which ugh - I actually hate when this happens), but we both loved these menu staples! The fried catfish, mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. Loved them both! & I would love to return. I think this is a great location to have this restaurant, as you can shop right before or after your meal, including Target, Five Below, Ulta, etc. A great place to be!

The service was good, I truly enjoyed my server his name started with a B ended with an A. This young man was very splendid. Ambiance was alright. Now let's get to the point of me showing up. The Food... one word. SALTY. If I were hypertensive I'd be reaching for my HCTZ 50mg. When I got home I poured water in the collards and they were still SALTY. Fried fish was good, my son hated the salmon & his spinach was also SALTY. PLEASE DO BETTER. I'm in health care and 1 in 16 people are hypertensive please let's not add to the epidemic.

We were visiting family in Maryland! We were recommended that this is a great spot and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, flavorful and fresh! The service was very attentive and friendly. This is now a go to spot for when we are in Maryland.

Sitting in Miss Toya's as I write this. Off the top, 20% gratitude is automatically added to the bill. No consideration to the patron if they want to leave a proper tip (maybe more than 20%). I wanted red snapper however, I was informed not only do they not have red snapper but, they don't have chicken and salmon. That's a quarter of the menu. Then, I asked for a Bombay Gin straight with a grapefruit chaser. I was given a one once pour!!! Terrible experience while I'm still waiting for my food.

Miss Toya's is a 10/10!!! I had the catfish , and the Lamb chops . The lamb chops were thick well seasoned and not over cooked ! I've actually never been to a place that makes them this perfect !!! I was quite surprised by the amount of meat on the bones ! I did an online order . They do not accept call in orders which I recommend they reconsider. The ambiance was beautiful ! The place was very clean . There is not a lot of parking in front of the restaurant however there is parking in the back of the restaurant.

We wanted to try Miss Toyas on Gambrills, Md for lunch. We went in, it wasn't packed, but I could tell they would get busy rather quickly due to the foot traffic coming in. The Bar staff looked like they were still setting up and prepping and the Hostess sat us right by the door. Needless to say, we were freezing, but the music was nice. The waitress came and helped us make accommodations to our order and food, which was nice. The drink was good and larger than I expected. It took longer thank I thought it should've to make the food, and originally they brought out the wrong dish(pasta) when it should've been gumbo, but my grilled fish sandwich and fries was no where in sight. After it was sent back and replaced with the correct dish all the food returned in about 5-10 mins or so. The gumbo was salty and the fish was bland. The food didn't taste like anything, then we asked for the bill. On the menu it says there's a gratuity for parties if 4 and another for parties of 6. However the girl informed us that they charge the gratuity amount for parties of 6, for everyone. That is not what the menu states or reflects. The other staff walked around as if they had an attitude or would ignore you if you tried to get her attention.

My first 5 star dining experience of the New Year and I couldn't be more excited to write this review and tell everyone all about it. I've been to 2 different Miss Toyas restaurants (Silver Springs & Baltimore) so when I found this location 20 mins from Maryland Live Casino Resort, I just had to go have lunch here today. This location is also located in a shopping center like the other two visited, so parking wasn't a problem. Staffing was short today but we still were able to be seated quickly. The restaurant is not really large but very clean. Due to them being short staffed, we were seated and served by their newly appointed GM. I'll get into his A1 customer service shortly but I'll start off witg the food. It was 5 of us total, so we ordered a little bit of everything and shared amoungst each other. We had the Chargrilled Oysters, Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Wings, Cajun Wings, Lamb Chops, Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potatoes, Fried Devil Eggs, Steak & Cheese Egg Rolls, Jerk Chicken Eggs Rolls, Gumbo w/ Crab Leg on Top, hot Honey Salmon Bites, Cornbread, Spinach Dip, Banana Pudding, and Bread Pudding. Everything was great. The only thing we weren't too crazy about was the crab leg on top of the gumbo but everything else was so good. To drink, we all had the hurricanes. They were sooo good but dont get it twisted, they will sneak up on you so dont let the sweetness fool you lol. We also had the blueberry iced tea, which became MY FAVORITE drink. Now onto the service, the GM Shamikh has some of the most amazing customer service I've ever received. He was attentive, entertaining, friendly, and extremely accommodating. He made many recommendations and went out of his way to make sure we tried new things we hadn't tried at the other locations we previously visited. Everything came out in a timely manner. We have been talking about our visit today since we left and cannot wait to go back. We will definately be calling ahead to ensure Shamikh is there before we come because he made our experience everything it was. For anyone hesitent about visiting this place, dont be. Give them a try.

We came from Pittsburgh,Pa and arrived at 11:11am when they opened and needless to say not happy. They very inviting, I ordered the roasted chicken, cabbage and Mac n cheese. The chicken was cold and dry, the Mac was great, and cabbage was cold bland. My niece had salmon, greens, and Mac n cheese. Her salmon was ok but wasnt hot, greens didn't have any flavor and she liked the Mac. The to go order was horrible as well. It wasn't worth $135. But they did take 15% of the bill. Please do better

I was a first timer and she's been once before. Given the name, I figured it was a seafood restaurant. Although some seafood is on the menu, Pier 99 is primarily a Sushi/Asian food restaurant. I think a name change should be in order.. Lol! I literally had to switch up my taste buds to partake in some sushi! I ordered a seafood boil because I couldn't switch them up fast enough while she ordered sushi. I actually love the concept because so many people aren't sushi fans but most folks get down with seafood! The food was actually good and they pulled off both cuisines effortlessly! My margarita was as good as any chain Mexican restaurant, so that was additional plus given the Mexican holiday. The interior is on the smaller side, however, they offer booth seating and it has a decent size bar. If I lived in the Upper Marlboro/Bowie area like I used to, I'd come here often but since I don't, I'll occasionally stop in when I'm in the area! Good job Pier 99!

I don't recall what item she got, but I always kept it in the back of my mind. I am rarely in this area. One of my best friends just moved nearby with his wife, and my girlfriend and I were hungry after visiting. On the way to another spot, I spotted it and we agreed to give it a try. There were some nice tables outside, but we decided to sit at the bar once we checked in at the host stand. At the time, there were only two empty ones on the end, but the people next to us soon left. There was a phone charging right in front of where I was sitting, it wasn't long before the guy belonged to politely unplugged it and said that we could use the charger if we needed to. I'm guessing he was the owner. We got menus I looked over what we might have wanted. I was a little surprised by how expensive the tacos were, I was like geez we're not even in DC haha. The drinks were first. They have a variety of margaritas, and I opted for the spicy hibiscus and it was fantastic. My girlfriend got the mezcal brandy one which was very strong. For food, I was debating between crab shrimp and mole enchiladas. I usually don't get them because I find them too cheesy (as a pizza lover, I know). But I was feeling adventurous. The lady said to try the seafood ones, so I did. That sauce was immaculate. I haven't had a lot of enchiladas, but I do know that these were the best I have had to date. We shared taquitos too which were good. Yeah, based on this experience I would definitely come back. I recommend it to anyone in the area too!

The posole was excellent and almost as good as the kind your favorite aunt makes. The refried beans were creamy perfection. The tortillas felt handmade and the barbacoa was authentic. Even the brunch burger was a win. And of course, the margaritas, mezcalitas, and micheladas were excellent. The guacamole was a little one note, but the chips were thick and crispy and salty. This is also the kind of place that delivers squeeze bottles of red and green salsa with the meal, which is always a good indicator of a great Mexican place, in my opinion.
