I don't really go for the food. I go to fellowship with my friends and watch the games over some beers. My favorite thing about this place is the service. The constant check ins, the quality of the drinks and the occasional conversation. Doesn't matter who it is bartending that has been my after take each time we have been there as a group. We had a very disappointing experience. We brought a small container of McDonald's chicken nuggets for our autistic child due to his medically related sensory and dietary restrictions. He is unable to eat unfamiliar foods, and this is a common accommodation for children on the autism spectrum. We understand that many restaurants have a "no outside food" policy. However, we explained our child's disability-related needs and even offered to purchase a meal for him anyway, knowing he would not eat it, simply so we could sit down and dine as a family. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism or compassion, the manager approached our table abruptly, asked "what's the issue," and firmly stated that outside food was not allowed, without any attempt to discuss reasonable accommodation. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to leave. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), businesses are required to make reasonable modifications to policies when necessary to accommodate individuals with disabilities, unless doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of the business. Allowing a child with autism to eat safe food brought from outside would have been a reasonable and compassionate accommodation. We hope the restaurant reevaluates how situations involving children with disabilities are handled in the future. read more

This is a friendly neighborhood sports bar that's been around for years. There are big screen TVs all around the restaurant and bar so you won't miss a minute of your favorite sport. Service is generally quick and friendly. The food is basic sports bar food. My favorite is the chicken wings and Froggers tots. Drinks are good, especially during HH. read more

I have been to a few different Froggers locations and have never left impressed, in fact of been fearful that I might get sick. That prefaced the Apopka Froggers by far surpassed my expectations. I'll start with the cleanliness from entry, my table to the restroom everything was neat & tidy. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and requested my chicken grilled and not fried. Grilled (not hot which for me on a salad is a good thing) with hot Buffalo sauce. Portion was much more than I could eat. $12.95 it was well worth it. The bathroom was obviously checked regularly it was stocked and clean. HUGE PROPS the the Apopka Froggers location. I've lived here 9 years and this was my first visit, it won't be my last, I'll definitely return to support this local chain. Thank you for exceeding my expectation. read more

I was not expecting much out of the food here as it's a bar. However, I was delightfully surprised to find the food to be quite good! Fish & Chips is a fave of mine and unfortunately it's a hit or miss dish. Froggers was a definite hit as the fish tasted fresh (no rubbery texture) and their fish fry mix has got it going on! It was a nice big piece of fish and the tarter sauce tasted like it was made in house. Good stuff! They had a bunch of wing sauce options and since I've never tried it with the bang bang sauce, I went with that and dipped it in their homemade blue cheese dressing. So yummy! The waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Not sure if it was because everything was fried, but it really was all quite delicious and I'm looking fwd to going back. read more

Haven't been here in awhile, about 10 years. Decided to hit it for a quick lunch. My server was Lola, she was very personable, great service and I rate her 5 stars! Ordered the cheesesteak, never had one so greasy. It actually tasted OK, but greasy. Also, the sides are all fried- I cannot eat. Should be able to order a la carte. I visited on a Sunday during Football Season, and the appropriately named bar and grill was hopping! Though despite being in Central Florida, this seems to be a Steelers bar as the speakers across the entire venue were playing the Steelers game, rather than the Phins game playing at the same time, so Steelers fans, here's your bar. The bar takes center stage here with seating wrapping the bar and multiple tv's being viewable from every seat. This is the perfect spot to watch any game! The appetizer sampler was surprisingly good, and the fried banana peppers (something I have never seen on another menu) were delicious - the batter was perfect! Not much in the way of any fun mixed drinks here as I did not see a menu, but more the type of place where you order your favorite drink (full bar) or bucket of beers. Fun arcade machines scattered the bar as well, and I spotted electronic darts, a hunting game, and some other classics. I'll be back to watch a game in the future! read more

To put Froggers Bar & Grill in true context, you have to realize that it is a local chain of bars that also happen to offer food. The food here is your typical bar food, or if you prefer the term, pub grub. It is not supposed to be transcending and be written up the pages of culinary history. There have been Froggers Bar & Grill locations around here since I moved to Orlando, Florida back in 2001, though I do not know when this location opened as it was my first time here. So, obviously Froggers Bar & Grill is doing something right to still be around and have not folded like some other of the local chain restaurant/bars like Calico Jack's (remember them?). Anyway, the emphasis on Froggers Bar & Grill is that it is first a bar that happens to sell food. If you look at it from that standpoint, you should enjoy your time here. read more

I am specifically reviewing and rating the Buffalo Chicken Salad menu item with grilled chicken at the restaurants I visit large and small in search of the best. I look for the best in freshness, size, and overall taste. My visit was on a Friday early afternoon and the restaurant was not busy. In comparison to other restaurant Buffalo Chicken Salads I found this salad to be good size and nicely prepared. Served in a large bowl plate it contained a nice mixture of greens with diced tomato. An impressive pile of bleu cheese crumbles sat atop the chicken. The bleu cheese crumbles contained large chunks which were fresh and tasty. The chicken was plentiful and quite flavorful, and best of all it was warm which gives it that comfort food sensation. Mixed in buffalo sauce the chicken had a perfect blend of spicy heat and tang. The toppings of this salad were equally proportioned making it easy to have a little of each on the fork with every bite from first to last. As is typical the salad was offered with a choice of dressing, but for my review and a preference for less calories I use only the buffalo sauce it's made with, otherwise I've no doubt a side of Ranch or thick Bleu Cheese dressing would've had me never wanting to stop eating. At just about $12 I'd say the price is quite fair and reasonable. Conclusion: Stellar and highly recommended. read more

My mom, stepdad and I enjoyed some afternoon libations and appetizers on Friday, the 3rd of July. I note the date due to the fact it was recognized as a holiday for many. The restaurant was abiding by Covid 19 friendly measures to include: facial masks, social distancing and table alternation. Surprisingly, it wasn't busy at the time of our visit (approx. 2pm). My Mom and I shared a couple of appetizers: tortilla chips and warm queso along with zucchini fries. My stepdad opted for a sandwich... I think. I do recall he ordered a brownie sundae afterward because we assisted him with this. Additionally, it was the only photo I snapped. I enjoyed Shock Top on draft, my mom had rum and cokes and my stepdad enjoyed a Bloody Mary. All of us were content with our adult beverages. All of my beers were served at a perfect temperature and paired with an orange slice. My parents had no complaints about their libations. I appreciated the fact everything was served in disposable paper or plastic containers including the individualized condiments. The menu is far more vast than I assumed and I would return again to try one of the bowls or salads. The restroom was clean and the servers and staff were friendly. All in all, this was a great experience. I'm visiting again and we paid homage to Frogger's. Another great visit, good food and phenomenal company! Good place to get a decent bite with friends, grab a drink, shoot the breeze, and do your thing. It's a divey-ish place, so if you're looking for the Ritz, then you are sorely mistaken. If you want a place with character, local appeal, and good food, then come on in. Have only had to wait long for food on maybe one or two occasions. Service is good, and the staff are always friendly. Plenty of TVs to get your sports on. I've sat at the bar top, bar tables, and restaurant tables, and have had good experiences all around. My only gripe is that the wings are never consistent. Let's say out of a dozen times, my order has never come out the same on any of the visits. EVERY single bartender ALWAYS looks like someone just called them and told them their dog got hit by a bus! The ONLY reason this dump is still open is because APK has like zero options for sports bars. The business owner clearly doesn't care. This place is a disaster half the time the food order is wrong or the staff is not attentive to us or not inviting you choose. This place needs new management to teach or train this team cause it's sloppy. Some good employees that need guidance. Visit for yourself and you decide. Beware because Ale house is opening in a few days and sales here will go down 8-10% you watch because that is where we will choose to go instead. read more

We ordered from Frogger's for dinner. It is consistent and always good quality. We ordered the Bavarian pretzels with queso ti start. The pretzels are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of salt. The queso is a plain white cheese dip studded with scallions and is quite tasty. We ordered the chicken tenders with 3 mile island sauce, onion tanglers and fried zucchini. We also ordered the chicken wings, extra grilled and extra crispy with mild sauce. The chicken tender platter was heavy on the fried sides and very very light on the chicken. This is a change in recent times. Perhaps in light of the cost of chicken and maybe the difficulty in obtaining chicken. Whatever the reason, the chicken tenders were TINY! The wings were okay. Very light on the sauce and definitely not extra crispy or extra grilled, but flavorful. Such is life when you order food to go, I think. Regardless, Froggers is one of our go-tos when I want wings or chicken tenders so we will continue to order from them regularly! read more

This is a dive bar. If you are looking for something other than that, please don't come in, complain or otherwise be a nusiance to the staff. That being said, I have only had really great dining experiences here. It's right down the road from me, and there's never been a wait to be seated. The wait staff have always been very friendly and helpful - although quite casual. But I think that's why people keep coming back. There are a lot of TVs, which I don't particularly care about, but that's a plus for many. Drinks are cheap, and the wings are quite good. Also, try the swamp chicken quesadilla.
