The staff is friendly, the cheese board is so fresh and the wines are delicious. My go to place every time I am in the area.

But probably one of my least favorite meals I've had in a while. I started with the crab rangoon nachos, and honestly, those were the highlight. Definitely different than I expected, but surprisingly good. For my entrée, I got steak, fries, and Asian slaw. The steak itself was tender, and fries are pretty hard to ruin unless you actively resent potatoes, but the overall flavor was just... weird. Not awful, just a mix of spices or seasoning that didn't really work for me. I wouldn't be excited to order it again. Dessert was a Nutella-stuffed cookie pie thing that I split with a friend, and I swear we almost needed an axe to cut into it. Points for durability, I guess. lmao

The bartender and owner, Rick, told us their story and how they had actually just begun doing food and brunch-- what a coincidence we had just seen the sign during our drive! The drinks were great and the conversation even better. We were seated 15ish minutes later on the porch. The wait staff were so pleasant, and the menu is reasonably priced and diverse enough that it doesn't just feel like normal breakfast food. I had the sausage gravy on the biscuit and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend enjoyed the ricotta eggs and a side of bacon that was wonderfully sweet and smokey. We were so excited to have stumbled into this place due to a random little state sign, and our only complaint is that it isn't closer to where we live! TLDR: a must visit if you're anywhere in the area!

The setting is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, a peaceful countryside atmosphere, and a quiet, serene setting that made for a truly relaxing evening. Before our reservation, we stopped in the barn next door for drinks. It was such a fun experience! They had a fantastic selection of meads, live music with a talented duo playing '90s rock hits, and even a nice selection of branded merchandise available for purchase. The weather couldn't have been better, and the food was outstanding. We both ordered the baked haddock, and it was absolutely delicious- perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. We also highly recommend the Razz "What She Said" draft and the Mango Unchained sour draft, both were refreshing, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. A special thank you to our server, Grace, who made our evening even more enjoyable. She was top-notch-friendly, kind, attentive, sweet, and truly provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. From the stunning mountain views and relaxing atmosphere to the delicious farm-to-table cuisine, craft beverages, live music, and outstanding service, Over the Moon is truly a hidden gem. We can't wait to come back!

You might think 5 min...there was only 3 tables with customers. Once seated it was another 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Drinks , appetizers came out in a timely manner. As fro the main courses a different story. Both my wife and son ordered steak fritz with chimmichuri on top. We waited for over 25 minutes too get an over cooked dry slab of meat. It looked like the steaks were set under heat lamps waiting for the waitress to get the food and deliver. My son could see into the kitchen where the 2 waitresses were discussing something very important with the chef and not getting food out the door. 25 min to get our meals. To top it off there was NO chimmichuri to be found on the beef or on the side. Unfortunately the waitress never checked back so we couldn't have her go to the kitchen and get some. Extremely disappointed!! We actually had to go find our waitress to get our check. I really think 1.5 stars but you can't. Maybe next time we try the bar but reading some of the reviews maybe not. Sad to say....

The most STUNNING wedding venue! My cousin got married here this summer and it was so perfect…read more There was a seperate barn on the property where the night before was held. There was a bar, we did trivia, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. Super homey and warm vibe to everything here. The main barn was used for the actual wedding reception itself (DJ booth, long tables, an upstairs area overlooking, and massive barn doors that open out to the stunning view). Couldn't suggest this venue more!!

----- Concise Review…read more Wonderful wedding + reception ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----
