Cornbeef and turkey on onion roll. Two slices of turkey meat

Very disappointed the meat has decreased in size substantially over the past few months. My picture shows a corn beef and turkey. Unfortunately there are only two slices of turkey meat. Saddens that I won't be going back.

    Chicken from a GREEK SALAD

This is a picture of the chicken that was on my greek salad tonight. It's rock hard and inedible. I will never get food from here again.

OMG...this is one of the BEST corned beef sandwiches I've had. Amazing flavor, juicy and down right delicious.

Probably the best deli in Southfield in terms of price and quantity. The sandwich is loaded with meat and is not too expensive. Good spot for lunch

Excellent. Had not been her in a long time- way before a remodel. Love the way this place looks now. The corned beef burger was amazing as was the #14 with kraut instead of slaw. This is a real deli for those who need a satisfying fix. Also love that you get two pickles of two different styles!

Food: 4 stars. Wife had the #3 on grilled white and I had the number 1 on grilled Onion roll. The meat was a high quality and sliced thin to perfection. The only downside was that they serve new dills. Not an issue for me but wife wasn't thrilled. Service: 4 stars. The cashier was friendly, offered to bag up my drinks and dessert and made eye contact. Nothing special but also nothing bad either. Price: 3 stars. Like all delis they are expensive two sandwiches, Mexican coke, tonic water and cheese cake was $33.00. Sandwiches alone are between 10-13 bucks each but you get plenty of meat. I'm going back.

    Fries with that!

Not my original destination, was visiting a business in the area. Stopped in to Order lunch. Decided on the Front Page special with fries and a Faygo orange pop. Wooooo weeeee!!!! Sandwich and fries were more than enough. Tasty and satisfying. Pricing is normal compared to other places. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will visit again.

    #1 Front Page on Wheat

Here visiting family and friends. We grew up on corned beef sandwiches (haven't had one in 15+ years). We ordered the #1 Front Page on toasted wheat bread. It was OMG delicious. The restaurant decor was clean with an urban minimalistic vibe. This family-owned business had superb customer service. We totally recommend!

The experience was not as pleasant as its counterpart on 10 Mile and Greenfield. My first time trying this location and seeing as how the menu is the same, I figured "why not?" I called in my order for a #10 The Business, which is Turkey pastrami, lettuce, tomato, and mustard on grilled rye and I asked to add corned beef to that. Something I get so often at the other location, they want to name the sandwich after me! I get there. No customers. The girl ringing me up is nice. I get home, ready for my delicious sandwich, and to my dismay it is nothing but a regular corned beef sandwich with lettuce and tomato, no grilled bread. And to make matters worse, the nice girl that took my order over the phone had even double checked to make sure I wanted my bread grilled. So, even though this location is about 4 minutes from my house, I'd rather drive 15 minutes to get to the Greenfield location because at least my order will be correct!

It's just your average Deli. Nothing special. They do charge extra to toaster bread on your sandwich.

Good food is found at Jay Birds Bar & Grille located in Lathrup Village! So much so I dined here twice in one month with two different parties. Ironically, Brianna was our server both times. It's time to give her a raise for her hard work in serving. I had the catfish fillets, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes on my first visit and fried chicken wings and fries on the second visit. The food was well prepared with portions for sharing or a second meal at home. Note: Due to their limited seating, there is a 90-minute seating limit during busy times. Seating includes bar seating, pub tables and booth. Seating is not ideal for parties larger than 4. On my second visit, we had a party of 7 that we settled for two booths.

Until someone at the table next to us lit a joint, we truly enjoyed the outdoor space. My brother, however, warned me that the food was just meh and I find I will have to agree with him. The protein/meats were good. My problem was with the sides. I got the rice pilaf and green beans and I feel like it was false advertisement. The rice pilaf was just yellow rice. The green beans were canned, although the menu pic showed fresh. Both of them lacked flare or seasoning. I noticed the person we ate with ate all of his catfish but barely touched his sides (potatoes au gratin and corn) as well. Now my husband got the mashed potatoes and brussels. He raved about them. I grabbed a little of both to take home so hoping when I eat them for lunch tomorrow I'm as impressed with those as he was. Maybe they are the show stoppers?!? So the final factor is always whether or not it would return and I will say yes, there were several cocktails on the menu I really want to try. And it is conveniently located. I will try what our server recommended, the wings, and just keep it there.

I ordered a western burger with large fry, but removed the corned beef. The burger itself was delicious, the patties were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were quite juicy and melted in the mouth. The brioche bun was as expected, although it did get a little bit, soggy due to the generous amounts of sweet/sugary Kansas City style barbecue sauce, which was also delicious. The onion ring that was part of the burger was crispy on the outside and not too mushy on the inside just how it should be. Next time I'll add bacon and some jalapeños to the burger to balance the sweet barbecue sauce. The french fries were delicious, crispy exterior with soft, fluffy interior and just the right amount of salt. Although I did not order seasoned fries, I was very happy with the regular unseasoned one. I can imagine that the seasoned fries would be even better. Overall a great burger and excellent fries, I would recommend this to others.

For my first visit here I got their basic cheeseburger where I added Bacon and a second patty upgrading from a 1/4 pounder to a 1/2 Lb burger. My Burger was cooked to perfection and probably the juiciest burger I have had in this area (get extra napkins(: ). It was very tasty and clearly in the upper echelon of the burgers I have tried. At $10.50 which included the two upgrades of bacon and 2nd patty was a deal in my opinion especially when you consider the quality of the burger. Relative to staff and facility, the staff was very friendly and checked in on me twice during my meal to include the owner which is amazing when you consider this is a counter order operation. Facility itself is clean and large with a lot of tables, both indoor and outdoor dining. The corn bread muffin (side 1) was sweet like i had hoped. Oddly, the greens (side 2) were slightly sweet. (I prefer a little bitterness so I can add vinegar, but that wasn't needed this time.)
