Front Street Cafe is the best restaurant in town if not the city. I love how every visit feels like catching up with an old friend. The food is amazing, each dish tastes like it was made with lots of love, whether it's the juiciest burger on Thursdays or one of their weekly specials that never fails to surprise me. But what really makes it special is the people. The staff remember your name and your favorite drink, and they always make you feel like you truly belong. It's never just a meal. the people are truly great. Also a bonus is constant live music. I'm so thankful to have Front Street Cafe around. If you haven't been yet, you're in for a treat that feels like coming home.

A friend of mine lives in New Richmond, Ohio and has been urging me to try this restaurant. So we finally did it! I am glad that we did. Parking was easy in a lot right next to the restaurant. We were greeted as we walked in and they told us to sit at any table that did not have a reserved sign on it. You have a nice view of the Ohio River from your seat in the restaurant. Our waiter came to the table to take our drink order and we knew exactly what we wanted. We each ordered a different Mimosa flight. Such fun and tasty. We also ordered the Brie and fig appetizer. My friend ordered the Winter Mimosa Flight and I ordered the Who Dey Mimosa flight in honor of the Bengals being in the NFL playoff round. The appetizer had nice crusty bread along side fig jam and warm Brie. For our meal I ordered the special of the night which was a filet mignon with asparagus and smashed potatoes. My friend ordered the Pasta Lafayette which was composed of andouille sausage, shrimp, red bell peppers, and onions in a spicy Cajun cream sauce and penne pasta and a side salad. My steak was perfectly cooked. My friend loves their signature pasta dish. Of course we could not go without ordering dessert so I had the vanilla crème brûlée and my friend had the vanilla cheese cake with a chocolate sauce. The flavor of my crème brûlée was good but it did not have enough crusty sugar in my opinion as it was a bit soft. We had a lovely leisurely dinner and as we were getting close to leaving a person was setting up in the corner to sing with his guitar. Highly recommend getting a mimosa flight as it is fun and tasty.

What a great little cafe! My husband and I stopped in for lunch while in the area on Sunday. It sits right across the street from the Ohio River - in the stretch of shops along Front Street. My husband had the Rueben and I ordered the Chicken Salad. On a whim I decided to have a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary is fantastic! I ordered their special one that comes with a house-made mix, Tito's vodka and topped with bacon. Oh my, it's good! The chicken salad sandwich is probably the best chicken salad sandwich I've had in awhile. So flavorful! My husband thought his reuben was awesome also. And he enjoyed the beers he ordered. The service was great! Very welcoming and friendly. We'd definitely stop back in.

I think this is a bit pricey for what you get. The riverside atmosphere is nice, though.

My husband brought me to Baker's Table for my birthday dinner. I first became aware of this place…read morewhen I started getting ads for the chef's sourdough book on social media--got the book for Christmas, and apparently talked about that enough that he decided I needed to experience the restaurant! What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.

Wow! We went with a group of seven of us and were treated like royalty. Chef personally delivered…read moreour bread service and talked about what it was and how it was made. Each course was like a piece of art on the plate! This is one of those special 'splurge' places that leaves you wanting it again. The space is small and cozy seating only around 20 people.

Tonight we had the...best...meal...EVER! We sat at the bar and it was nice and quiet. The seats are…read morecomfortable and Greg took excellent care of us. If you prefer a quieter setting, then eating in the bar is your best bet because the dining rooms do get loud. We started with the east/west coast oysters and they were so fresh. The passion fruit mignonette was the perfect compliment. I kept scooping out tiny spoonfuls and drinking it after we finished the oysters. The Fluke Crudo was fantastic. The combo of flavors and textures was a delight for the palate. The scallops over the miso leek risotto was one of the best scallop dishes we have ever eaten. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly and there were plenty of pieces of leek in a lovely, smooth risotto. We're not a fan of hijiki, so the chef prepared the risotto without it - Thanks Chef Jose! And you would think chicken schnitzel would be basic, but not this dish. The chicken was so moist, perfectly seasoned, and pan fried in butter. We asked for the sauce on the side because we knew we wouldn't finish the big piece and wanted to heat it up later and still be crispy (which we did). We were amazed that eating the chicken, almond, asparagus, and some sauce in one bite, was SO good. The best two meals we have had in Cincinnati so far in 2026 have been here, and Mita's. Chef Jose is a real talent.

Have been here four times and certainly feel comfortable with this rating. While ambiance and food…read moreare top rated, my experience fell flat when leadership failed to deliver. Walking in a bit awkward. One door is locked and the other is open. One has to guess correctly. The entrance is a little cramped. Goto the left for the bar or the right for the dining room. I've always enjoyed the open kitchen; the focus, hustle, and discipline is admirable and fun to watch. Decor is modern. Feels upscale. One can make this a casual date or dress it up for a bigger night out. All of our wait staff have been polite and are good at timing visits. The food offered here and all of Salazar's restaurants is excellent. Most recently, we enjoyed the lobster rolls, fried oysters sandwich, fries, steak, and scallops. Two desserts were taken to go. Each dish, no matter how advanced or simple, presented with elegance, perfect spice and texture, and spot on internal temps. Certainly it's the excellent cooking that justifies the $300 check that chased this outstanding experience. Everything I've mentioned is positive. Where do the two stars come from? Well in our last visit, we took dessert to go. We utilized valet that Salazars/Mitas contracts. It took forty minutes for our car to get to us. Forty. Minutes. We got ice cream as a part of a dessert to go. While one could argue we are taking a risk, and I agree, we actually had a cooler in the back of the car that was ice cold from earlier in the day. Thusly we felt we were taking a calculated risk. We get our car, see the ice cream is melted, and I go back. I explain the situation to the hostesses. The GM shows up and I provide a gentle explanation. Following this I say I'd like to the replace the included ice cream but end up ordering a couple other flavors. I get cashed out - no apology for the under performing valet, no offer to cover the melted scoop, just take my money and move forward. I understand that nothing is owed to me. I understand that restaurants aren't successful by giving out hand outs. My frustration comes with the lack of recognition of arguably restaurant error, the fact that loyalty means nothing, and that spending nearly $300 (or how much four visits cost in less than a year), including a kitchen tip, wasnt enough.

We started with drinks - two of us had cocktails, one had a NA Margarita, and one had wine. We had Brussels sprouts and a feta appetizer. Then dinner - one steak frites, one scallops, one primavera and one lamb meatballs with salad. Everyone loved their choices. We had room for dessert as well: crème brûlée and a decadent chocolate dessert. Perfect! Our server was excellent. We made reservations through Open Table and were glad we did - some folks without reservations couldn't be accommodated inside (but could sit at bar or outside -- which would be nice if it weren't so hot and humid the day we visited). We had a great table at the front. Plenty of street parking - we parked right along side the restaurant. This is definitely on our list of favorites.

The Brussels sprouts were also delicious. The shrimp was definitely spicy so the grits helped to tame them. We ate out on the patio and had a nice evening. I also had crème brûlée for dessert and the sugar was almost burnt so slightly disappointed with it. I would definitely stop here again. Parking was a little tricky in their small lot but I know there is street parking around the neighborhood.

We were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon after attending the New Richmond pride event. Ashlee, our server, was friendly and vivacious and made us feel like we were right at home, despite it being our first time. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and Diet Mountain Dew (here's the thing, restaurants with Pepsi - if you're going to disappoint me with Diet Pepsi, at least have Diet Dew to save the day. But I digress). It's a ways out of the way but totally worth it to enjoy the cute town of New Richmond, a view of the river, excellent service, and delicious, affordable food.
