I genuinely NEVER leave reviews. I literally had to download Yelp just to write this because that is how unbelievably angry the Frontier Airlines crew in Las Vegas made me. I have traveled with this SAME carry-on multiple times and have NEVER had an issue with it. Suddenly, today, Frontier decided that my bag was a problem and that I needed to pay for it. What I absolutely DO NOT understand or accept is the disgusting attitude and complete lack of professionalism from the employees working the gate. The woman pictured with this review was EXTREMELY rude, condescending, obnoxious, and completely unprofessional. So is the man Infact he's probably worse. There was also a male employee working with her whose name I unfortunately did not get, and his attitude was just as terrible. I will find it though. The way they spoke to and treated a paying customer was absolutely unacceptable. It happened to a couple of us who did not have any issues prior. This wasn't even just about the bag fee anymore. It was about how horribly the situation was handled. If your job involves dealing with the public, there is absolutely NO excuse for treating customers like they are stupid or like they're an inconvenience for asking questions about a charge they have NEVER been required to pay before. I was so angry after this interaction that I went out of my way to download Yelp just to document it. That's how bad this experience was. I will also be sharing my experience on TikTok because people deserve to know what kind of customer service they may encounter when flying Frontier out of Las Vegas. Frontier needs to seriously review the conduct of the employees working this gate. Employees who speak to customers this way should not be representing an airline. I sincerely hope management reviews what happened and takes appropriate action. I will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again. Saving a little money on a ticket is absolutely NOT worth being treated like this. This was hands down one of the worst airline customer-service experiences I've ever had.

Honestly, I know everyone has complaints about this airline but I think it's fine. I always find direct flights. They're cheap. The staff is always been friendly and yes, it sucks that they don't give you anything for free at all, but I don't think people know that they give you at least a couple of water for free.

I like Frontier airlines. The check in folks were helpful and the gate people were courteous and friendly. The flight was long, but uneventful. The stews were fine and came around a couple times for drinks and trash. Think they also provided earphones.

I want to give Frontier a good review, but it's rare that this airline is on time! Again today the flight was delayed. I guess you get what you pay for? But this flight from Ontario to Vegas and back was not cheap! Well I just hope we are still flying out of this gate! I'm just glad I don't have a connecting flight!

"Survived the Budget Airline Gauntlet--And Would Do It Again (Kind Of)" Okay, I get it now-all the memes and horror stories about this airline make sense. We booked the famous $99 special, which, after hidden fees, surprise charges, and what I assume was a convenience tax for breathing air on board, cost about the same as a small used car. Expectations were low. I'm talking "spending the night at a Greyhound station" low. The South Terminal in Austin? Let's just say if airports were siblings, this one would be the forgotten middle child who lives in the garage. It deserves its own Yelp therapy session. But THEN... a miracle. I upgraded to the emergency exit row-extra leg room for a "big-boned, charmingly husky" gentleman like myself-and it was glorious. The armrests actually went up, which made all the difference. Suddenly I wasn't wedged in like a Tetris piece. For that alone, this airline earned a little sliver of my loyalty. Yes, the seats were still uncomfortable (my backside hasn't spoken to me since), and one flight attendant had the kind of attitude that said, "I'd rather be literally anywhere else than serving you pretzels at 30,000 feet," but you know what? The flight was smooth, I got there on time, and my knees weren't crying by the end of it. Bottom line: If you're mentally prepared to fight for every inch of comfort and emotionally ready to be judged by gate agents, it's actually not bad. I'd fly with them again over other budget airlines--at least here, the pain came with extra legroom.

Your carry on won't fit into the carry-on bin as a measure and your personal item will not fit into the personal item bin.
    Iam L.

These guys are terrible when it comes to boarding their planes with your "personal item" which in most cases is a back pack. They intentionally make the allowed size of your personal item smaller than most back packs and then literally flag every single person in line and make them "size up" their personal items. Most of course are slightly larger than their "allowed size" so they make every person pay an extra $79 to purchase a carry-on otherwise they don't let you on the plane. Going forward I'll just pay an extra $50 for a better airline that doesn't scam you out of money than allow these guys to extort additional $$ hundreds of dollars that you were not expecting to pay.....because you try to board their plane with your backpack. Good luck with your business model Frontier. I'm done with you guys

My flight wasn't just delayed. it was emotionally delayed. The departure time kept changing bro was edging takeoff and the best part? The complete lack of information. I had enough time to reflect on my life choices, learn a new hobby, and consider walking to my destination Would I book again? yes. Only if I clear my schedule for the next 48-72 business days service is so bad i want to give you a zero. but that's not possible so i give you a one. thank you for teaching me patience I didn't ask for.

    These people are the worse

I came here to catch a flight to Burbank. Should have been routine. Was there 2 hours early its was morning. I like to use the lounges so it's not really time wasted. However, the app wouldn't let me check in. Normally you just press a few buttons and bingo you're in and ready to go. This day I was in for many surprises, I went to check in at the Frontier flight desk and Mohammed informed me that the flight had been over-booked. But over 28 people. That those people were already in the airport and because of that I couldn't be given a boarding pass. In these situations where it's clearly the airline's fault you're just complimentary rebooked and that's that. I don't know is my man was in a bad mood or just didn't like me but he straight up had disdain for me. I had a veteran's hat on and he just kept staring at it and then giving me a dirty look. Then he charged me to rebook my flight. My flight I had booked over a month ago. That they overbooked which bummed me out. Long story short, I ended up renting a car because the delay was so long. I got to my destination in 3 and a half ours instead of waiting till midnight. The airline didn't even refund my ticket or booking fee. Overall a horrible experience

If you're flying to or from Las Vegas and thinking this airline will save you money, don't. This was hands-down the worst travel experience I've ever had. The ticket was cheap... until it wasn't. By the time I checked in, I was charged for: * A carry-on * A checked bag * Seat selection * "Oversized" bag fees (for a perfectly normal suitcase) * Gate fees that somehow cost MORE than paying online I paid more in baggage fees than the actual flight. Complete bait-and-switch. Customer service was nonexistent. Staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like passengers were an inconvenience. When my bag didn't arrive in Las Vegas, I was told to "check back tomorrow" with zero accountability or apology. No updates. No help. Just attitude. The policies are intentionally confusing, clearly designed to trap people at the airport when they have no choice but to pay. Families, elderly travelers, first-time flyers--everyone around me was shocked at the extra charges. This airline turns travel into a stressful, humiliating experience. You're not treated like a customer--you're treated like a walking wallet. Save yourself the headache. Pay a little more upfront and fly literally ANY other airline. Vegas is supposed to be fun--this airline ruins the trip before it even starts.

Me almost passing out from heat exhaustion. Don't use this airline! Not safe!!!

Is it worth it to buy a seat that's 45.00 vs 12.00?

If you are tall and taking more than an hour flight I would say its a no brainer. Your body will thank you for actually having leg room.

If I ever have a flight issue I just complain and usually the airline assesses my claim and gifts me a voucher in return. Tonight I'm on an overnight flight to the east coast and it has 1 layover! Flight was delayed by an hour or so. Thank GOD it wasn't delayed by 1 day like my last flight I took in October 2025. They do gift us hotel voucher and Lyft credit as well as a full refund if we need it... It was a hassle tho. I had to cancel business trip due to that delay. The pilot was stuck somewhere and we only could on the flight the next day. I was so exhausted because they had us wait for about 5-6 hours for the pilot to never show.. Otherwise, smooth flights. Just make sure to take ur snacks and drink with you, otherwise I don't have many complaints of this airline. Always know their terms, which aren't as nice as southwest, but similar to frontier. Usually flights can be super cheap like $66 as a low flight price... probably even less expensive if you book downstairs in the airport otherwise this flight was kinda pricy for spirit! I got a window seat tho! Downloaded some Netflix movies, and or I will just sleep through! Said my prayer and were about to take off LATE! Anyways once we're in the air, it's overrrrrrr, we're almost there! NOW, what I think airlines should improve, is the way we all exit the airplane. They don't give instructions. We all just get up and leave but orchestrating that at times can be messy. Passengers get so mad if you try to get off the plane before them! Like, I mean, not everyone has a carry on, so we can just walk past the ppl who need extra time to gather their bags! I wish they had 2 exits or 3 exits! That's the next level of airplane experiences, I think they need to build airplanes with a nice exit system. WWW.SPIRITWIFI.COM (A way to see the flight coverage while on the flight)

My husband and I are A List customers, and we fly Southwest almost every month between Las Vegas and San Jose for my oncology appointments at Stanford. During check in, the baggage scale repeatedly fluctuated between 50.4 and 50.6 pounds, and I have videos showing the unstable readings. The agent told me Southwest's policy allows up to 50.5 pounds, yet insisted I remove something from my suitcase. All I had to do was remove a small luggage lock. The bag then weighed 50.4 pounds, but the scale continued fluctuating between 50.4 and 50.6 pounds. Making me remove the lock was completely unnecessary. As we finished, I simply mentioned that I have Stage IV lung cancer and was traveling to see my oncologist. I was not asking for special treatment. I only said I hoped he would show a little more compassion to future passengers. Instead, he became rude and unprofessional, told me he was not going to play this game, called a supervisor, made my husband and me wait about 10 minutes, and then said he was making a note on my account. I was shocked that a simple comment about showing compassion resulted in being treated this way. I can provide videos of the fluctuating scale and documentation of my oncology appointments. I hope Southwest reviews both the employee's conduct and the condition of the scale. We have always enjoyed flying Southwest, which made this experience especially disappointing.

Southwest took a step back, Spirit closed up, and now it's Delta's turn to eat. And they're hungry for YOUR money. Have a problem at the front desk? "Just call in," they said. So I called. The first representative was nearly impossible to understand, other than the part where they mumbled something about my request being "illegal." Apparently changing a name is now a federal offense. I then was transferred to someone who understood English. He understood it so well that he was able to interrupt me every single time I tried to speak in mild frustration. His solution? Cancel my ticket and buy another one instead of simply changing the name. Conveniently costing over FIVE HUNDRED more after tax dollars. The world salad games this guy played were unbelievable. At least just admit it. "Hey, we can't do that because we'd rather have more of your dollars, and I have callers in the queue" I then asked to speak to a supervisor, who was somehow even worse. After waiting long enough for the second rep to explain my insanely simple request, I was connected finally. Like all supervisors, they can and are "empowered" to do the right thing, but instead she told me to stick it where I never get sun shine. The request was all about canceling and ordering another ticket. Gotta keep those shareholders happy, right? YES! What an absolutely unbelievable experience. I've always heard they are the best. I have spent more on their flights "buying" into the hype. I will never fly Delta again. I used to drive two hours out of my way to fly Southwest, and I was always happy with them. But they pulled a Delta this year as well. What got me going the most was the supervisor couldn't have cared less about me. I was nothing but a number. They run unchecked, and at some point the only thing we can do is stop supporting them. Then there's the icing on the cake. "It's too early to check in. Come back at 1 PM." Come back at 1 PM. "It's too early. Come back in 15 minutes." You cannot make this up. Nothing but incompetence at the front desk, in the app, and through the call center. Hawaiian offers non-stop service to Vegas; other airlines require a stop, sometimes illogical ones. Why not Southwest or Alaska? I do not like flying on single aisle aircraft, especially the Boeing 737 which is used almost exclusively by those airlines. Thus, my alternatives are American, Delta, and United. Unfortunately, the airlines have replaced wide body aircraft with single aisle variants to service West Coast to Hawaii routes. United still flies a 777 once a day but I couldn't make the itinerary work for a mid-morning arrival in Vegas, so I ended up with American, using Airbus A32x aircraft. The route was sub-optimal, a flight from Honolulu to Phoenix, a long layover, and an 11:49am arrival in Vegas. The return leg routed through Los Angeles. The fare was $2,828.69. I was in my office on the 21st, getting ready to head to the airport when I received a text and an email stating that my 10:14pm flight was postponed due to lack of flight crew and that I would miss my connection (from Phoenix to Las Vegas). The flight was rescheduled to depart at 1pm on the 22nd. If I took that flight, I wouldn't arrive in Las Vegas until Saturday morning, assuming I could get a seat on the first flight to Vegas from Phoenix ... Unacceptable, as I had planned events in Vegas on Friday. So, I scanned the other airlines for tickets to Vegas and purchased tickets on Delta, routing through Seattle, for $3,528.80, then canceled my tickets on American. My new flight left Honolulu at 10:35pm and arrived in Vegas at 2:26pm. Okay, I'd miss two events, but I'd be in Vegas on Friday. More on Delta in a separate write-up. My issue with American is that I didn't receive an apology, just an email stating they were pleased to offer me a credit for the amount I paid, $2,828.69. Nothing else. When Hawaiian delayed a flight by a day, I received a hotel room and a $300 credit. American, is this your idea of customer service? I've flown on American since the late 1970's but haven't recently. Now I remember why.

Each flight attendant was very helpful to make sure you had what you needed as well as kept safe during the flight. Our latest flight was from Las Vegas to Kahului, Maui - round trip to visit family. We had a great experience on both flights! Make sure to sign up for their free WiFi, instructions on the plane. Also, when you have the Alaska/Hawaiian app, everything is made even easier, from check-in to pre-ordering meals! Can't wait to be up in the friendly skies again with Hawaiian Airlines! A hui hou!

I travel with a walking cane / a walker and need extra boarding time so I typically board the plane with pre-boarding. Once the wheelchair passengers were wheeled down the jetway, my partner and I walked passed a couple of ticket agents and they allowed us to walk pass them without scanning our boarding passes. We continued our way down the jetway and finally made it to our seats. As the plane started to fill up I started questioning myself and my partner why didn't they scan our boarding passes. ( I wasn't sure if the boarding process changed since they merged.) It bothered me so much that I had to ask a random passenger if their boarding pass was scanned and they said YES!. As the plane was about to pull away I managed to flag down a flight attendant and as I was about to question her about the issue my phone rang from 7024932194 and it was the airlines checking to see where we were and I explained to them that we were already sitting in our seats, she seemed unaware but relieved at the same time. It made me feel uneasy that anyone can board a plane so easily and slip passed ticket agents. -I was happy that the everyone was filled with aloha spirit and all together it was a smooth flight to Hawaii.

You'll take transit over to the D gates from Terminal 3. I typically don't get too many delays with JetBlue, especially flying to New York City. They offer non-stop flights every few hours. I try to book the early flights if I can when going to New York City to avoid any potential delays. Most of my flights arrive early, typically by 20-30 minutes when flying into JFK! The seats are spacious on JetBlue. Each seat comes with a TV that includes free movies, music, and DirectTV. Some planes have charging capabilities too! Throughout my flight to New York City, JFK, the team at JetBlue offers drinks, like soda or water, as well as free in-flight snacks. I always get their pop snacks and pretzels! If you need more legroom, you can upgrade to different seats on JetBlue. When you check-in for your flight, you can change your seat easily through the mobile application if there are open seats available. Now, if only JetBlue offered a non-stop to Orlando Florida from Vegas!

Bathrooms aren't the worst, but are pretty ick. Don't use the free wifi unless you're on a VPN. A significant proportion of your fellow passengers are uncivilized. TSA Pre works well. Checking-in/declaring firearms is efficient and routine. There are places to eat. Baggage claim is pretty efficient. I don't recall (knock wood) that I've ever had luggage misrouted or stolen from Mccarran. Cab line is a breeze. Ride share on the way out is a hassle. Curious (and guardedly optimistic) to see how the Loop works when they actually have it running full time. I've never parked here so I can't comment on it. I'm through here a lot and it's familiar and I've got it down - but I'm not going to tell you it's anything other than okay.
