If I could give them negative stars I would. Don't let the so-called low rates fool you. It's a bait and switch. This was the worst travel experience in my life. I once flew cross-country on a military plane in a fold -down seat with duct tape holding on the windshield and I would gladly do that again before even considering dealing with Frontier. I was traveling with my wife and 3 children ( 5, 4, and 8 months). I woke my kids up at 3:00 am and drove an hour and a half. We arrived at the airport 2 hours before the flight was scheduled to depart. I thought I had what I needed on the app and website but upon arriving at the security checkpoint I was told I needed a bar code and sent back to ticketing. The kiosk did not work so I went to the service desk. By the time I got through the line we had missed our flight. I was then sent to a different representative that told me we would have to pay $99 per ticket to reschedule. We asked for a supervisor. She came stomping in from another area with very negative body language and demeanor. She only mumbled her name and when asked for a last name she refused. Apparently she thinks she's a musician like Cher or Madonna. She was extremely rude throughout the entire encounter and said it was the "customer's fault". Sadly, she probably won't have to atone for her behavior. She might even get promoted. In the process we paid $122 for 2 carry-on bags one-way. Ultimately, we chose not to get robbed for an additional $400 to fly and ended up missing my sister-in-law's birthday. I was in the area for about 45 minutes and heard at least 10 people walk by saying Fudge frontier. I got home and filed a complaint on their website and got more of the same. The rep I dealt with, Vladimir Divas (Wasn't he in the NBA?), continued to hide behind company policy and said I was not entitled to any refund due to a "no-show". I was there 2 hours in early and they called it a no-show. The only thing I asked for was a refund for the baggage fees and that was denied. After being told I would rather walk from Orlando to Chicago than ever getting on one of their planes again the rep offered a $25 voucher per ticket to be used towards a future flight (as long as it is within 90 days). He also reminded me that we can still use the return flight. Hellooo, we never got there!! I got plenty of "we're sorry you feel that ways", and "due to company policies" but there was nothing close to a resolution. I spent years in customer service and I know a script when I see one. So bottom line, Never ever ever ever fly with Frontier Airlines. EVER!!!!! They should be investigated and shut down. read more

My fiance` and I flew Frontier yesterday from Orlando to Philadelphia. It is very unsettling and disheartening that things were stolen out of our luggage. We just returned from a cruise and purchased (4) bottles of alcohol that are (1) liter each. Before we put our bags in the trunk we checked to make sure the bottles didn't break and there was only (1) in our bag, We filed a claim but that doesn't do anything when you feel like you have been violated and your privacy has been invaded. When people travel they trust airport employees with their personal belongings. The bottles of liquor were set on top of clothes, wrapped in clothes, and then more clothes were laid on top. That means someone took the time to rifle through our belongings and take something that doesn't belong to them. We saved up our hard earned money to take a cruise and buy things while we were on it. What would give someone the right to steal something someone else worked so hard for?! We aren't wealthy enough that we can afford to buy something for someone else to steal it. I doubt anyone wealthy would appreciate someone stealing from them as well. This really dampened our spirits after returning from a beautiful vacation. When we arrived at Orlando to check our bag we had the employee at the ticket counter place "Fragile" stickers on the bag so that they would be handled with care. When we picked up our bag in Philadelphia there were no stickers or baggage tags attached to it. Your baggage claims employee in Philadelphia stated that this may have been something that TSA did. We checked our bag in with Frontier Airlines. That means once it was out of our hands we trusted it in your employees' hands. Customer service deserves to be known good AND BAD. I'm completely disregarding the 4 inch tray tables, uncomfortable prisoner style seating and overpriced sodas and crackers. This is solely based on the customer service I've received after ive paid 35 dollars per suitcase to have them loose my luggage full of Christmas presents the day before Christmas. It's 11 am on on Christmas Eve. We arrived yesterday and our bags did not. We were met with "sorry our computers are down, I can't give you a claim number right now but will call you when we can, fill out these forms" 3 hours later with no claim number I called in 4 times before I wasn't hung up on and got my claim number. I was told the bags would definitely be here by morning as they had two more flights coming in over night that they'd come in on. Here I stand 8 phone calls later this morning, repeated "thanks for calling frontier airlines how can I help you.... click". They are hanging up on purpose. On the last phone call I told them to quit disconnecting with me and not to put me on hold because it just disconnects. She sat the phone down and I proceeded to listen to 5 minutes of conversation about (their words)"green tea, Mother F*%^ers, frontier being so unorganized and how do I log out of your screen" before they put the line on hold and 10 minutes after that, them disconnecting my call. I will never fly frontier again and being the motivated person that I am I will actively make sure everyone knows the caliber of employees and customer service affiliated with this airline. Avoid at all costs! They will turn your flight into a nightmare and won't care! Marginally cheaper fares are not worth it! Our family recently traveled from LaGuardia Airport to Denver via Dallas with Frontier Airlines. A 4-hour delay caused us to miss our connection. At LaGuardia, we proactively asked Frontier staff about rebooking options and were explicitly told that Dallas staff would assist us. This information was incorrect. Upon arrival in Dallas, we were informed that we should have been rebooked before departure. As a result, we were stranded in the airport for 13 hours with our 11-year-old child. Frontier provided no hotel, no food, and no meaningful assistance. We were forced to pay $148.35 out-of-pocket for a hotel Frontier staff in Dallas were dismissive, unprofessional, and at times appeared to avoid accountability by trying to hide their company badges. The situation worsened when we were required to pay $297.00 for carry-on baggage at the gate--despite being clearly told in New York that these fees would be waived. Boarding passes were withheld until payment was made. We also encountered significant difficulty attempting to file a complaint. We were denied a clear written contact method and told we might not receive a response. Ultimately, the only way to receive any reply was by filing a complaint through the United States Department of Transportation, and even then, the response by Frontier was completely useless and unhelpful. The core issue is that Frontier failed to provide accurate information at the point where it mattered most. We specifically asked about our connection and were not informed that no onward flights would be available for 13 hours. Had we been properly advised, we would have made different arrangements. One employee in Dallas even acknowledged that the situation had been mishandled and that we should not have been allowed to board in LaGuardia under those circumstances. Frontier has got to be the worst airline. They try to squeeze every penny for their customers. This is the first time I've flown this airline and it definitely will be the last. First of all they charge $75 for a check in bag up to 40lbs and anything over that will be an extra $75 which they don't mention when you're checking in. All of a sudden you will see a final charge which by the way is non refundable. Deceitful! Then they charge $69 for a carry on bag. At the airport they have a self check in kiosk and if you're having issues and need assistance it will be an extra charge. My flight has been delayed twice and the last one was for 3 hrs which puts me in a bind since I'm scheduled to work tonite. So besides the aggravation I'm losing more money by missing work which I doubt this airline will provide any compensation. And they don't have any employee on any check in counter to assist customers with questions. DO NOT FLY FRONTIER. Pay the higher fare somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation. This is not worth it. I'm dumbfounded how this airline is still in business. This is an update....my flight got delayed again for another 2 hrs. It was suppose to take off 6 hrs ago. My name is Tina McMasters, and I am writing regarding an incident that occurred on my Frontier Airlines flight (F9 1351) from Buffalo International (BUF) to Orlando International (MCO) on July 27, 2025, under reservation number BYT22S. Despite having paid for a carry-on, I was instructed while approaching the plane door by a Frontier employee to check my wheeled bag due to supposed lack of overhead space. I expressed my strong objection, as this was a brand-new Michael Kors luggage set (receipt attached), and I would never voluntarily check it. I was told that if I did not check the bag, I would not be allowed to board. Once on the plane, I spoke with a flight attendant who noted there was, in fact, ample space in the overhead bins. I have attached photos of the empty bins as well as my undamaged bag before boarding. Upon arrival at baggage claim (A9), my bag was among the first 20 to arrive--and it was damaged (photos attached). I immediately attempted to locate a Frontier staff member, but none were present. I then made multiple calls to Customer Service beginning at 12:37 AM. I did not receive a callback until 3:07 AM, only to be informed by MY agent number 8117549 that damage claims must be filed at the airport--an hour away from my home. Given that I was wrongly forced to check my carry-on and now have a damaged $416.84 piece of luggage (receipt included), I am requesting full reimbursement. This is the only acceptable resolution. Our Sunday night return flight was delayed from 9:15 PM to 1:40 AM. My girlfriend says I have to be professional on writing this.... I WILL TRY! We show up for check in with time to spare. Four ladies at front desk with a person, whom he claims to be a manager, supervising one agent as they argue with a customer about a carry on luggage and if it will fit or not.... 15 minutes of this Another agent is dealing with a passenger who is trying to zip their luggage... Same 15 minutes. 2 out of 4 check in agents handling passengers and because of this delay we are pretty much told sorry about your luck but we can't and won't put you on the flight, per both agent and manager. I give it one star because there is not an option for zero stars. On May 19th my family arrived at the Frontier desk with more than 45 mins check in time. The attendant denied us checking in our bags. We asked to see a manager to help us get checked in and they took a long time to find her. By the time she got to the desk she said we were late and could not check us in. The manager rudely said in Spanish to coworkers that she could open the flight but that she wasn't going to do it for us. She spent more time being rude to us than trying to help us. Because of the poor lack of attention and customer service we had to pay booking fees to reschedule, pay another night for a hotel and car rental, and now missed work. This could have been all prevented if they would have checked in our bags instead of wasting time finding an incompetent manager. Worst air line we have ever flown in. First when I got to my gate every single flight they had going out was delayed by multiple hours. Worst experience with a airline ever. Do not use frontier! They over book flights to the point were there's not enough room for everyone, then they rebook you or give you a refund. The only problem is they don't have enough room on flights due to over booking and you have to wait over 24 hours for a new flight. No accommodations, no hotel, just a flight for the next day. As if that wasn't bad enough they have 0 social distancing on the flight. This is what really tops the cake They do not fully fuel there aircraft. They only put enough fuel to get to the destination and not a drop more. My flight was rerouted, not even a long reroute and the flight was delayed over a hour so they could add more fuel so we wouldn't run out of fuel from Florida to PA Lack of staff lack of common sense and overall the worst airline I've ever flown.
