Great little burger joint. Stopped there when passing through with friends and had a killer burger. Good friendly service, clean place and relaxed atmosphere. A little off the main road, but well worth the trip. I'll be going there again when the opportunity arises! read more

I use to live a block from this place, and my son and I would walk to this place as a little treat. The food is good, but im more of a vegetarian, My son loved the fries and the malts. It is a cute restaurant, I think it would be a cute date to go to for a teenage couple or just a family outing. The prices are not bad. The service was so so and the food was pretty good, standard burger joint fare. I was really put off when I asked for a refill of the 22 oz (ish) soda I had already paid $2.30 for and they told me a refill cost another $1.25. As I said when I heard that, seriously? I won't be back. read more

If you want fast food don't come here. It is delicious so if you don't mind waiting it will be well worth it. Their burgers and anything with ice cream is great. We love the Teezers, they are kinda of like jalapeño poppers but minced and in a tater tot. Would not recommend the boneless chicken wings. Well, I figured out why my simple burger took so long on a quiet day. He was busy burning it, then slapped it together. My drink, ice coffee was undrinkable. While the ambiance is about as you'd expect in an old cinder-block burger joint, off the beaten path, I have to say that the World Burger was OUTSTANDING. YUM! Yummy burgers, fries, and teezers. Good shakes! The teenagers who work there need to do less talking, and have better customer service and get off your damn phones! Place needs a veerrrryyy deeeeep cleaning pleassseee!!!!! Sitting next to a window and my son counted 5 dead fly's, along with crumbs everywhere, food stains on the wall, sticky tables, Sanitize the place please, I feel cleaner sitting outside. Also if you close at 8 you can't tell customer's you aren't cooking food any more when it's only 7:10pm,very rude. Great service and great burgers and ice cream. Two young kids working and holding down the fort did an excellent job. Great to see young kids being responsible. Time consuming, but the food is worth the wait. Their soft serve cones are the best around!! I read from previous comments that outside seems to be cleaner then inside, and I find that to be true as well. This facility needs to be deep cleaned and up-dated. It doesn't take very long to clean a lobby that small. Wash the walls, slap some new paint on it, sweep and clean the windows (get rid of all the dead flies) wash down the trash can's once in awhile and this could be a great little place. read more

This place is a joke. It takes forever to get a simple item when it is slow. The order we placed was incorrect, and all the manager would do is offer $1 off. Terrible customer service. They don't care if they screwed you out of $20, and the order was completely wrong. Save the hassle and eat at a reputable establishment. read more

Made a pit stop at the frosty mill. everything here is so expensive, i feel like the shops in Los Angeles are waaaay cheaper.

First off, the food was good. The patties in our burgers were juicy, buns tasted fresh, cheese melted just right. It wasn't mind blowingly spectacular, but definitely above average. It was all the other aspects of the dining experience that fell short of the mark. My wife and I ate here 3 times during our extended stay in Susanville and every time the place was dirty and the service was slow. Straw wrappers on the floor, used napkins and random debris on the tables and a generally dingy feel both inside and outside was consistent with all three visits. I understand that the burgers are cooked to order, but that doesn't excuse the excessively slow service. At times the area around the counter was almost crowded with the half dozen or so people waiting for their take out orders. Another aspect of the store that I consider a negative was the vast menu. Every possible combination of fried this or fried that was offered. Just a glance into the kitchen area revealed the secret to this vast variety... it was all frozen stuff that had been (presumably) trucked in. To top it off several of the items on the menu board were misspelled. Classy, I know. The prices weren't wallet-busting, but were about 30 to 50% more than you would pay for a meal of comparable size at Jack in the Box or McD's. read more

I ate at this place a few years back and really enjoyed it! However, this time around when my family and I showed up, I was a bit embarrassed to see the condition of the restaurants dinning area (all tables were not wiped off and only one other family was eating at the time we were there). Bathroom had no soap and was very dirty. In addition, my wife had to clean the table herself and one of the staff noticed it and said nothing! The wipe my wife that my wife used was black after my wife cleaned the table! After receiving our food, I needed to go ask for some napkins and noticed one of the two young teenager girls working there was sitting on the counter with her rear and texting near where the food is beaning prepared. The last time that I ate here it was pleasant but this time I would not recommend it at all. The young workers lack customer service knowledge and they lack knowledge on how to maintain a clean environment to eat in! read more
