I love froyo fresh. Their selection of froyo is awesome and I find that I like the more macro friendly flavors usually. Chocolate Almond, Cake Batter, Pumpkin Spice and Salted Caramel are my favorites. Their ice cream is mediocre and usually freezer burnt/icey. The chocolate chocolate chip is usually on point though. I suggest just sticking to the froyo however. read more

I don't come to frozen yogurt shops often because I'm not the biggest dessert person. After having dinner nearby I stopped in here for a little sugar to keep me awake. If you've never been to a frozen yogurt shop like this before, it can be a bit confusing, especially how this place was set up. They had about 5 frozen yogurt machines with 2 flavors in each, but they were placed in the back of the store with one machine right next to the checkout counter causing the space to be very cramped if there is more than one person getting yogurt- which there was. Between the yogurt dispensers, topping bar and counter all cramped towards the back of the store, it was extremely congested. The toppings offered were good and the prices here are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and explained everything the best they could. The menu chalkboard behind the counter was also confusing and very overwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the setup, but the yogurt, toppings, and prices helped to make up for the inconvenient layout. read more

This was my go-to froyo spot while I was pregnant with my little guy, and I still love coming here even now. The shop is cute and funky, with multiple froyo flavors that rotate and a fully stocked topping bar. The price is measured by weight so, as long as you know the basics of physics and gravity, you'll end up with a tasty personalized treat that won't cost you an arm and a leg. If money is no object then by all means, go for a huge scoop of gummy worms. More power to ya. And don't forget to ask for a stamp card if you plan on being a repeat customer. read more

Wonderful place, and I'm very glad that it's a bit of a drive from where I now live in Carrollwood since it would be awfully convenient to ride my bike over to this temple of FroYo from my former home in Westchase. Tanya & Matt's Frozen Yogurt Home of Fresh Yummy Goodness is located in the Publix shopping center at the intersection of Linebaugh Avenue and Countryway, right in the heart of Westchase. It's tucked behind the McDonald's so you need to pull into the shopping center and look at the row of restaurants behind Mickey D's to find this place. Tanya & Matt's is small inside, but they have plenty of room for about 20 people, plus outdoor seating along the sidewalk for more. There's also a drive-through window which was popular when I visited. The quantity of selections was smaller than many other frozen dessert places (10 selections as I recall), but the quality of their product was outstanding. I was very pleased to see that everything was labeled as low cal FroYo, and noticed that they rotate their flavors according to the season. According to a sign in the store, "all our Frozen Yogurt is gluten-free, kosher, egg-free, fat/cholesterol-free, and has LIVE active yogurt cultures, 8-20 calories/oz." I got a cup of the low cal Very Berry yogurt and then piled on fresh strawberries, fresh red and black raspberries, and freshly-grated coconut for a very tasty dessert. It's the usual game of fill the cup with yogurt, then pile on the toppings, and then weigh the entire mess to see what the cost will be. Their toppings bar has all kinds of candies, nuts, fruit, and assorted sticky goodness so that you can customize your dessert to your liking. The cost is 42 cents per ounce, which means that my cup of yogurt with all of the fruit toppings was under $5. Great place, and worth a stop or two. read more

Something told me to give this place another try since it's so close to home, and the fam absolutely loves ice cream and frozen yogurt. I'm going to stick with my original 2 stars. The place was pretty busy when we got there, and people were darting around like chickens with there heads cut off. It was chaotic as hell. One woman kept cutting in front of me while I was waiting in line at the soft serve machines... I suppose her order was front-burner to mine. I was willing to overlook this because it wasn't really a reflection of the business (other than the layout being ineffective for more than 3 or 4 parties at a time), but just as I was reaching for the lever to fill my cup, AN EMPLOYEE jumped in front of me and got some yogurt for a drive-up order. My wife and I stood there in utter disbelief. It was crazy. As for the yogurt itself, it was good. I got the creme brulee and slapped some hot fudge on top of it. All 4 of us thought the selections were tasty, but couldn't get past the frustration of gathering of the food. Tonight will definitely be the last visit. read more

I love Tanya & Matt's. I work right around the corner and if it wouldn't make me weigh 800 lbs I would go every single day. They have an ever-changing selection of flavors. They have a smorgasbord of toppings that you can choose from including these tiny little juice ball things. I haven't tried them yet but they look really intriguing. I've had cookies and creme, peanut butter and birthday cake. They are all super creamy and delicious. My favorite topping is the cookie dough chunks but they also have a bunch of great fresh fruit. They have Boba tea, smoothies and milkshakes but I haven't tried those yet. I recommend going in the first time so you can check out the selection but they also have a drive thru. read more

First visit to froyo and became a fan. It was clean and though smaller than the yogurt mountain in carrollwood that I usually go to for my frozen yogurt fix, they had some pretty interesting flavors to choose from. The salted caramel was my favorite. They claim to be low cal, gluten free and kosher as well. Low cal is a bit deceiving if you add all the extras but who can resist some peanut butter cups with your froyo? Many of the yogurts have Splenda added as sweetener so I tried to stay clear of those. They also offered a 10% discount with a receipt from the surf shack restaurant next door which was mighty nice. A good way to cool your palate after some spicy food. read more

I stopped here today on my way home from USF and I have to say, I never thought I'd find another place that could compete with Mochi Frozen Yogurt in Orlando. Not only could they compete with it, but I may even like it better. They have 10 - 12 flavors of frozen yogurt - self-serve and also and ice cream counter. They also serve boba tea and other desserts, I plan on stopping once a week after class, and may even stay to study because it has a great atmosphere. I almost forgot to mention they have mochi topping, a bunch of fruit, candy, and cereal toppings and some syrups for the frozen yogurt. Honestly, part of the reason I like it so much it the fact that I don't have to go to Orlando to enjoy it's deliciousness. But this really is a must try place. read more

Talk about yummy! My girlfriend and I tried this place on a whim and we were very pleased with what we found. The first time we went there, I got a taro shake with boba. They were out of their normal boba, so I chose the lychee flavor "popping" boba. It was very tasty and the taro added some nice creaminess. It didn't freeze very well (the popping boba well...popped in the freezer, lol). My girlfriend got a berry shake, which was a little tangy, but still very tasty. The second time around I tried the do-it-yourself frozen yogurt. They swap the flavors out regularly, so if you don't see something you like one week, it may be gone the next. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it's slightly expensive to make it yourself. It ran me $6ish with all the toppings (and there are LOTS of toppings to choose from!) The place can get packed easily, so if you're not a fan of crowds and children (like me), avoid weekends or after school hours. Otherwise, the place is really yummy and can satisfy that sweet tooth very easily. It's also pretty healthy if you're trying to watch your calories; lots of sugar-free yogurt and a good variety of fresh fruit toppings. read more

The place always seems to be clean, which is not only important but also requires attentiveness from employees for the sole fact that it can get messy. I went to Tanya & Matt's for the first time a few days ago, and have to say that their frozen yogurt is exceptional! They have a huge selection of unique flavors, and rotate them frequently. Some of my favorites include Lemon Chiffon, Red Velvet Cake, Pistachio and Taro. They have 10 self-serve machines and are on the cheap side at only $0.42 an ounce. They also always have two low cal, (almost) dairy-free flavors! The store was packed - and brimming with children - when I was there on Friday night. My entire family loves FROYO FRESH. My wife and I go for the FROYO, but the fact that our kids can get ice cream is such a bonus. Although they love the soft serve froyo, they especially love the homemade ice cream with all the mix-ins that are actually in the ice cream! Even when the ice cream isn't a brand new tub, there are still loads of mix-ins (oreos in the cookies & cream, chocolate chips & cookie dough in the cookie dough, brownies in the fudge brownie.) So many choices! My wife goes everyday for her fix of sugar free froyo- they have the best in town and always have 3 flavors. a couple times the sign was off a sugar free machine, but we just asked and they ran out and are about to make more. Even if we are closer to yogurtology, she refuses to go there because they only have 1 sugar free flavor and it's the same gross flavor, and it's not even low carb or low-calorie like FROYO sugarfree flavors are. And, the other flavors at yogurtology are not nonfat- only 1 or 2 (not to mention it's ridiculously expensive there!) ALL of the flavors at FROYO are nonfat (probably why my wife lets me eat it!) We were recently on vacation- in big cities and we tried to find a decent frozen yogurt store. We searched on yelp and went to a few but ultimately didn't get any because there was either no sugarfree or the place was dirty. So, days went by without dessert. My wife couldn't wait to get home to the freezer to the sugar free Peanut Butter she brought home from Froyo for the night we got home. We are always met with a smile when we go to FROYO- I like to drive through, but my kids and wife like to go in and check out the flavors. One suggestion- maybe a sugar free vanilla in addition to the other 3 sugar free flavors? That way you can do anything you want sugar free! However, a younger girl who from the beginning was given me a harsh stare, never said a word or greeted us, she just leaned against the counter and ate her fro yo, RUDELY answered my mom in regards to an item when she wasn't involved in the conversation. I was disappointed today regarding how the woman at Froyo filled my order. I went through the drive thru, ordered a medium strawberry yogurt with rainbow sprinkles and roasted peanuts. I have to admit that Ice Cream is my down fall and they have enough flavors to keep an ice cream snob like myself happy, and if you are looking for something a little healthier then you can go low cal yogurt. They have just about every type of topping that you can think of. They have had live music on the weekends and they even have a little play area for the kids, plus some nice chairs to sit outside if the weather permits. Oh and if you are hiding your fetish for ice cream they have a drive through so you can wear dark glasses and no one will know its you (not that I have do that).
