The flavor hit hard and lasted all the way through this beverage, and there were some bits of pulp that would lead one to believe plenty of real fruit was used. I got some jellies to add in there that made the flavor more interesting. At $9 with tip for a fairly straightfoward beverage, it's an expensive treat, but if they spent that money importing yuzu to the middle of Virginia, I'd say it's money well spent.

Lavender is usually a pretty distinct flavor, so I was surprised that it didn't come through. My biggest issue, aside from the smell, was the cleanliness. The shop was noticeably dirty. There is a lot of white paneled bench seating, which unfortunately makes the dirt and grime especially obvious. See the pictures for what I'm referring to. Overall, the drink was good, but there were too many other issues for me to rate the experience higher. Between the unpleasant smell, visible cleanliness issues, missing lavender flavor, and lack of flexibility with my original drink request, this was a 2-star experience for me.
