Great burgers, decent prices, almost an In-N-Out burger style place! Would definitely come again, would definitely recommend to friends!

Frugals was definitely a better burger place than others I have come across since I moved here. The prices are cheap and the burgers are fries are decent in taste. The french fries are pretty small in size. The hamburger, despite being decent was not amazing. I got a cheese burger and Steve got a bacon burger I believe. His tasted better than mine. It seemed to have more flavor and condiments. Frugals is not a place where you can sit down in. You have to drive up and place your order. We picked a nearby park and enjoyed our meal there. If you are a few days out from a paycheck and you need an inexpensive meal, Frugals is just fine but it is not a place where you go to get gourmet hamburgers. read more

Saw the Monster Burger they were advertising, thinking it was the same thing you get at the Puyallup Fair, a way over sized burger- but in reality, all it is is 4 patties with nothing in between then so its very dry and tasteless, needless to say, very disappointed in this burger, and I certainly WOULD NOT recommend this burger! Also left out a con, they do have two drive throughs - but the one on the left is VERY Weird, you order from your divers winder, but when you pull up to get the food its on the passenger side, so you will need to put your car in park to reach over the passenger seat (if you dont have any passengers) and hand your payment that way and receive the food that way. I avoid that one, and a=go to the right- I think most people also do that as that drive through line is always much longer lol. Stopped for a quick late dinner after spending the day moving furniture. Pulled up in my U-Haul and the line was long. I googled them while in line to check the hours of operation, and we had made it just before closing. The line was almost discouraging but both my partner and myself consider ourselves "foodies" and are always trying new places so we waited it out. I will say for fast food my expectations were fairly low. My partner ordered the halibut sandwich and I got the bacon cheeseburger. I decided against getting a milkshake even though a blackberry shake sounds fn amazing. The majority stated their experience has been a liquidy shake, and I prefer my shakes like my women (and men ;)) hella thiccc maybe next time I'll opt to upgrade to a shake in a combo idk. Anyways let me tell you, upon first impression they are not shy with the amount of bacon. There must've been at least 4 slices of bacon and they were thick cut too, not those thin little burn-quick-dry-up slices. Upon my first bite, oh man, that patty is seasoned very well. I don't like pickles on my burgers or sandwiches but this burger may have turned me onto somethin. My partner and I swapped about halfway through the sandwich per usual and oof, the fish sandwich was equally as delicious upon first bite. Flaky fresh and not a meat block like McDonald's fish sandwich. Also not overly saturated in deep-frying oil again, like McDonald's fish sandwich. Oh the fries are the same shoestring ones like McDonald's only they are fresh and not dried up and crusty. I'd say we Just had a really good experience overall and I'm both glad and extremely terrified that this joint is just a couple miles from me, cuz man, this will be my new go to for sure and then I won't be able to fit in my already big girl pants smh. I saw this place everytime I headed my Vet and I always wondered why there were so many cars lined up...what was the hype about? And man oh man, am I glad I gave it a go! It's hard to believe this place was built and opened back in 1982, but I've been a customer since those early days. I've always liked their burgers and usually get one about once a month, along with the fries and a coke. The fries are pretty average, but at least they don't taste like the oil in the fryer was there since last year. We wanted a burger after stopping up the street to look at popup camping trailers. I found Frugals on Yelp and thought it would be better than the big chains. The person working the till asked us if we were from around there, where we were from and welcomed us to Parkland. He added a very friendly touch to the transaction. My wife ordered a vanilla shake, and a cheeseburger with no onion or pickles. I got a bacon cheeseburger. The burgers were done quickly and much to my viewing pleasure, the person putting together the burger was actually wearing deli gloves per WA Health Department Rules. I really appreciate when they don't take shortcuts on this. The burgers weren't special, just a classic old drive-in style burger that was tasty and definitely not overpriced. Plus, my Bacon Cheeseburger had lots of bacon on it. We have to come back down here near the end of the month and will return. read more

This place is a solid "chain like" burger joint. Reminds me a bit of Bk burger wise and Jack in the box fry wise. Im more into hole in the wall burger joints but had to give this place a shot after hearing people rave about the Auburn location. I pass this place at least once a week for work and decided to hit it up on a lunch break. I got a number 2 with onions and thought it was good for what it was. The burger seemed very chainish. Had a Whopper like look to it. Random thrown together items put into bun. No method to the madness. And to top it off the burger had a smashed down look to it only a mother could love. I wasn't there to admire the burger though. Looks don't matter as long as the burger tastes good. I wasn't there to take a picture of it... I did anyways but that's besides the point... What they do there is great for anyone who's into chain burgers. Not really my style so I gave them 3 *'s BUT it was pretty good for what it was and really reasonably priced. After a long day of hiking we were tired and hungry so we stopped at Frugal's to grab dinner. The guy taking our order we great. We asked for 2 plain hamburger patties for our dog and he handled it perfectly. None of the shock or weird comments we've got at other places. Our dog was greeted by several staff, one had a treat for her. Our food was ready quickly and was delicious. I'm not much of a fry fan but these were great. I literally grew up going to this frugals location my whole life.. To be honest, after the listeria outbreak, I will not get a milkshake here. I used to love them, but I won't risk my life for the milkshakes. Lol BUT I still love the food, sometimes... It's hit or miss. First of all, why are you guys handing out bare open straws ?? That's gross and unsanitary in the food industry. I don't want to put a straw, that some unknown hand (that has been touching hundreds of people's cards and money) had touched, in my mouth and soda. Hell naw. And bro. The fries... way too salty. You need to get someone who knows how to season in there because I shouldn't be chewing fries and being able to feel the salt grit between my teeth n stuff. So nasty. Also, y'all are slow. Very. Good burgers for cheap, hence the name and the cents signs between two buns. It is not a sit down restaurant, it is solely a drive-thru burger joint. The drive-thru can take awhile but the value is so good I stop here as much as possible when in the vicinity. Many say that the Swiss with mushrooms is the best burger. It is good but I believe they put too many mushrooms on it. I go for the basic burger or a bacon cheeseburger. They have good fries and good milkshakes with a wide variety of flavors and a flavor of the month in rotation. You'll have a tough time getting out of the drive-thru if you're trying to go on the 405 West so don't eat your food until your on the highway. read more

Went for the first time. My coworker had been there before. We placed two orders. There was one car on front of us. We got to tell window and my order was ready quick. The second order we waited a while for. I'm guessing around 4-5 minutes. It was definitely long enough that I was thinking it was weird. As for the food. I had the #3. Good burger, fries were nothing impressive, not bad just nothing great to write about. Would I go back, ya, and try something else. My friend and I were talking about having Mexican food but then he suddenly and semi-excitedly, almost yelling said that we are going to Frugals for burgers! I responded with, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." I love a good burger and was excited about getting one there... until I went to Yelp. Looking at the pics, I'm thinking, "four stars? Really?" We pulled into the lot of a Gent's club and I see the silver trailer. I had no words. I expected the worst and was certain that all the reviews were written by friends and family. I ordered the 1/2 pound basic combo and tried the french fries. I had better but when I bit into the burger, I was taken back to my youth. THIS WAS THE ELUSIVE TASTE, FLAVOR AND TEXTURE OF the A&W Teen Burger of the Dick's burger that I loved so much growing up in the area. Apologies for the CAPS but you know when you move far away, I live in Vegas, and you're looking for that replacement for the food you love. That pizza, fish & chips, and the burger are my top three favorite foods. I've found great fish and chips, I'm pretty close with the pizza but the Frugal's burger is spot on. Only issue is I live 1265 miles away. A least I have a new place in South T Town to get my burger fix. read more

This is a good burger. It's not fancy, or made with Kobe beef, but it's an honest, well-priced burger reminiscent of the drive-in burger joints of the past. The burgers are cooked on the flat top to med and topped with various toppings, they usually have an interesting monthly burger that is different than the usual fare. Used drive through. Placed order. Had to repeat it three time. Got to window The male working the window handed me a shake. Didn't order. Apparently got our order mixed up. The bill was 14.05. But he said we owed 12.35. Knew he was charging me correctly. Told him to keep change. Waited another 15 minutes while they tried to figure out what happened. I asked a female to just give me my order and figure out the math later. She said I was rude. I did get rude after she said that. I was very angry because of blaming me for there screw up. After leaving when I opened my order I found that they didn't add jalapeños which I was charged for. They added grilled onions that. I requested not to be on my burger. I used to eat here a lot when it was right down the road from my shop... They don't offer much in the way of seating for eating but they do have a double lane drive up and get you in and out quickly... One more thing that was notable was they had steak fries the last time I went which was unusual as not a lot of places near by offer them. read more

Had the bacon cheeseburger. It was sub-par. Could have had a better sear on it with better and/or more seasoning. In the professional pictures, they sure do make that sear and beef color look good. Bacon was also sub-par. Highlight of this place was the fries. Their fry sauce is 30 cents, I think they should give one free fry sauce with the fries. The highlight if this place was the fries.
