The cinnamon roll was recommended and for good reason. It was fantastic! The frosting was perfect. It's very rich and I was glad we ordered it to share. The 4 egg omelette was large and filling. I got mine with a blueberry muffin on the side and the potatoes extra crispy. It was really a complete meal that each part tasted just as it should. The service started off on the slower side but they definitely made up for it. There were only two waitresses and they were running their butts off. We chose biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak. I, of course, partook in multiple breakfast spirits. Haha. Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning! Lol. The food was nothing short of fantastic! The chicken fried steak was perfectly fried and very tasty. The gravy on the steak as well as the biscuits were the same. I arrived early on a Sunday morning, and the place was empty. Michelle sat me down and was friendly. By the time I had ordered and got my food (which came so quickly it had to be black magic), Michelle had to have sat like five tables and was the only waitress there. As I enjoyed my Eggs Bennies, which were great, I watched her handle all those tables that sat down almost simultaneously. She never felt rushed but hustled and gave everyone great service. She was very efficient and nice. Wow! By the time I finished and left, every table had food, and no one was upset. Used to either having corned beef brisket or even the canned corn beef would have been better. The poached egg was overcooked so it wasn't runny, just a hard boiled yellow egg on top. At least the other egg was runny. I did like the pancakes. Eggs are supposed to be their specialty so unsure why the egg came out that way. After we were sat our server didn't come acknowledge us for 15 minutes or so. They said they thought others were joining us but still strange to not come take drink orders. The food was very good. I had the breakfast lasagna which I was very pleasantly surprised with. My wife had a skillet she really enjoyed with French toast. We also tried the cinnamon roll which was okay, kinda hard on the top which we didn't enjoy but the middle was tasty. The fresh orange juice mimosas were a hit and the coffee was just okay. Vibes are good nice and bright with all the windows, we had our child with us and definitely could tell they sit everyone with kids in the same area which is completely fine just an observation. A gem in my book. My first time here, as was the same for most of our group. First I want to give a shout-out to the gentleman who took our reservation, professional but with a touch of 'welcome' in his tone. There were eight of us and Stephanie took very good care of us. From bearing with us making our way through the choices and keeping our drinks replenished to just checking we had what we needed The Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict was excellent; two of had that. Zach I am Fried Eggs looked good and was declared delicious. Couple of omelettes made their way to the table as well. We ate in for a later breakfast and there was no wait. Our server, Brian, came over quickly and we put our drink order in. Thank goodness for coffee! For breakfast, I ordered the Zax I am fried eggs with bacon, skillet potatoes and an everything muffin. Hubby ordered the southwest steak & cheese omelet with breakfast tots and a blueberry muffin. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious! The bacon was cooked perfectly. The skillet potatoes were fantastic - seasoned well and crispy. I traded a few of these with hubby for a couple breakfast tots. It's not easy to find a super unique breakfast item but the breakfast tots were just that! These were amazing! Cheesy hash brown style potatoes fried up fresh. He loved his steak & cheese omelet especially topped with sour cream. The blueberry muffin was moist and tasted great. The everything muffin was a little more dry but still very good.
