I haven't had boba in forever! I used to live in Berkeley, where there are 3 boba shops on every street and had my fill of boba to last years. But I recently moved to an area that has 0 boba shops within a 2 gr radius. I came to visit home and wanted some boba realllllly bad. I looked up Boba places and this pace popped up, so I decided to try it out. The staff were really friendly and helpful upon entering. They offered to help us out if we didn't have anything to order in mind or could offer us recommendations. We got 1. Peachy Lychee Fruit Tea at 50% sweetness with boba 2. Strawberry Field Tea at 50% sweetness with boba (this was jasmine tea topped with strawberries and then you shake it) 3. Strawberry Mango Fruit Tea at 75% sweetness with strawberry popping boba and regular boba 4. Milk tea at regular sweetness. The fruit teas were all great and you could taste the blend of fruit and the tea. It wasn't strong but you can definitely taste the tea. The popping boba was a nice add and kick, added more flavor to the drink. The milk was liked very much and although ordered with no boba, the consumer enjoyed it. One of the local boba places in Orange that serve a good variety of boba tea with interesting flavours. Plenty of parking space in the plaza where the shop is located. The staff are great and will help you choose the boba tea you're craving. We tried three flavors, the Green Thai Tea, Royal Tai Tea and Passion fruit FruitTea and they were all loaded with boba. I went here on a weekend to check this place out, and it's a cute, cozy shop with nice decor inside. I ordered both the wintermelon milk tea and Jasmine milk tea at 50% sweetness and less ice, no toppings. The strawberry field tea was at 50% sweetness with no modifications on ice and no toppings. Overall, I preferred the strawberry fruit tea over the wintermelon milk tea I ordered mainly because the wintermelon for me tasted more like a regular milk tea and there have been other boba shops I have been to before where I could taste the wintermelon more even with modifications. However, this isn't a bad thing, I think it was because I did order with modifications, which definitely affects the flavor, and I recognize this. Next time, I will try different modifications for my milk teas to see if this is better. The service was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly. I checked in on Yelp to redeem their "buy 2 drinks, get 1 free" offer with no problem. The store also sells jibbitz charms for your crocs and T Swift bracelets if you're a fan. I think one of my biggest turn offs to a boba place are places that uses random generic lids/seals. If you're trying to build a brand, opt for your own lids/seals. Makes me feel like I'm a five year old drinking boba with these on. Also ordering 5 drinks and getting them all in a thin plastic bag, no drink carrier, not a good idea if you want repeat business. Pretty sure the bag would have ripped open had I kept it in theirs. At least double-bag it if you don't have drink carriers. Instead I had my own plastic bags in the car that I transferred the drinks into. My strawberry latte looks like pepto bismol. Nothing special about this place and not for me. Ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea. I tasted the sweetener they used before anything else which is a huge turn off. Nothing tasted right about this drink compared to other shops that make this in the area. Just another tea shop that doesn't try to improve the flavoring of their drinks and just lets the syrup do try to provide some flavor. There might be some other drinks that are good, but I'd guess they are very sweet drinks. read more

This review is for their catering services which we used for my wedding last week. The entire process from start to finish was super easy and everyone loved it. After a quick email, we got a response right away with a price quote and an invitation to come in store for a tasting. We were able to try all the flavors we wanted so that we could pick the ones we wanted for our wedding. During the actual wedding, the employees can actually customize sweetness levels as well for all your guests. All my guests loved the idea of a boba bar and they said the flavors were great. Line was super long almost the entire time. Favorites were definitely the winter melon milk tea and peachee lychee. The setup was also super cute and looked really professional for photos. I got the Peachy Lychee tea and it's pretty much exactly what you expect! The boba is a tiny bit watery in consistency but overall yummy. Interesting... I didn't really like it here. We were on the freeway and decided to make a stop and with the clean atmosphere and great service, I was expecting the drinks to be amazing. The guy at the counter was soooo nice and he helped me find a fruit tea that was his favorite. So I got the mango dragonfruit tea unsweetened boba, and it was literally the sweetest drink I've ever had. The guy even told me this drink was his "favorite drink to get unsweetened" which is why I tried it but they must've messed up with the sugar or something. Sure, it tasted good but it wasn't what I wanted. At least the boba was pretty good though. I wish I could give this place more than 3 stars, but the fact that my unsweetened tea was so sweet is a little disappointing. Our Mental Health Unit at CHOC was celebrating their first year anniversary of opening and serving our patients. Our staff loves boba and does regular boba runs or orders boba delivery to the unit. As a volunteer in the unit, I decided to do a boba bar for the staff and contacted Ethan. He was super responsive and emailed me a quote with plenty of options. We ordered a few gallons of tea for our staff (signature milk tea and mango fruit tea) and it came with cups, straws, ice and toppings. We chose honey boba and rainbow jellies. Steven delivered the boba twice to us, once for day shift and once for night shift (so it would be fresh) and even made extra jugs of tea for our night staff. Our staff couldn't have been happier. It is such a a simple thing, but it's something that we all love and is so refreshing and keeps everyone going on their shift. Thank you again, Ethan & Steven. CHOC Mental Health loves you guys! I'm happy I was able to give this place another shot. This time we ordered the Mango Chamoy and the Taro Latte w/ less ice. The Mango Chamoy tasted great! Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves mangonadas. And my boyfriend actually managed to get less ice in his drink this time around. He was able to enjoy it for much longer rather than finish it in a couple sips. I also had a sip of my bf's brother's drink which was a wintermelon milk tea w/ boba and the boba tasted a lot better in his drink than I recall from last time. Also, I really appreciated the customer service here this time around. The girl who took our order made sure she took the time to ask if all of our drinks are okay. I went to their grand opening which was BOGO & ended up with five drinks. We ordered a Wintermelon Milk Green Tea & after they gave us a Wintermelon Green Tea, they replaced the drink for free and even let us keep the extra drink (I hate it when shops take back their drink after they mess it up, like are your throwing it away or is your staff going to drink it?)!! The thai tea was extremely sweet (how I like it), the milk tea was a little bland but still good, and I'm not sure how the others tasted because they were not for me. I'm sure you can adjust the sweetness level to your liking though! The boba itself was yummy. The staff was super friendly & the owners were working the cashier when I went. Fruitea Boba is a nice little boba spot near my work and they have a great selection of drinks. I always love my milk teas and my default is the Thai Tea or the Jasmine Tea. They are very good with their sweetness adjustments and service is quick at this spot as well. The online ordering they have available is very helpful. It is a smaller spot, but there is plenty of parking in this complex. Definitely will have to go back to try their matcha lattes! read more
