Pricing is on the high end, but I'm not sure how much that is because food is so expensive now-a-days. I was a bit surprised to see sandwich combos (with a side) all starting at around $20, and going up from there. It was after 2 in the afternoon, so the bakery had several 50% off boxes of baked goods to select. Four large cookies for I believe $12 or so (I could be wrong). There weren't too many options left in the bakery cases. I would love to see what this place offers when it first opens. Stay tuned for an update once I get that chance.

This is probably one of the best Mexican dessert shops in town. I usually get either a Fruta Loca, Frezas Con Crema, or Fresh Fruit and they've all met or exceeded my expectations. Today, I saw one very angry lady get upset for the wait, although many times in LA or Bay Area it is normal to have to wait 30-40 minutes in line/wait at places like Icicles or 7 Leaves. Overall, a great experience, awesome customer service (the owner even takes the time to make my Fruta Loca fresh from scratch on the spot), and quality Mexican desserts. I highly recommend that if you end up going and encounter any issues, that you bring it up to the owner as this is a brand new business. Came today for the first time, heard mixed things about it but still gave it a try. The service was honestly terrible made me want to just leave even my mother was disappointed by the attitude we received. The girl spoke so low, nasty attitude, rolled her eyes with every question we asked, was very rude to her manager infront of customers and myself, wasn't helpful at all and still managed to have our order wrong. The horchata was the best part of my trip there other than that.. I'm not sure if I'd return back. Maybe a change in rude staff will help and keep this place successful. Had been wanting to try since I found out about this place opening. When you walk in there's Mexican music playing. Which I like, makes me feel at home lmao. Me and my mom got fruit bowls and shared an elote in a cup. I just thought the corn in a cup is cheaper to get at the flea market. The large cup here is a small at the flea market. I wasn't very hungry, so I opted for a bowl of soup with a side of cornbread and a slice of pie to go. The soup was hearty and plentiful. I could have gone for a cup instead, but instead took what I couldn't eat to-go and enjoyed it later. The corn bread was delicious--slightly sweet, and moist enough to not fall apart when I cut into it with my fork. I usually love butter with corn bread, which they offered me, but it didn't need it. I wasn't sure which pie to get-they have so many to pick from. Checking out the options in the bakery case didn't help because they all looked so beautiful. I ended up selecting peach, and it was amazing. The peaches were perfectly caramelized but still maintained their texture. The bake of the pie brought out their ultimate peachiness. The crust was just the right thickness. Even though it was a cold slice, the crust remained flakey. The cafe had ample seating. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Pricing is on the high end, but I'm not sure how much that is because food is so expensive now-a-days. I was a bit surprised to see sandwich combos (with a side) all starting at around $20, and going up from there. It was after 2 in the afternoon, so the bakery had several 50% off boxes of baked goods to select. Four large cookies for I believe $12 or so (I could be wrong). There weren't too many options left in the bakery cases. I would love to see what this place offers when it first opens. Stay tuned for an update once I get that chance.

My family and friends take a yearly road trip to Vegas and this if our last stop for a shared meal…read morebefore we all go our seperate ways.
