Chicken Rizzo bowl with cheese sauce
    Cassady H.

I've been here a few times now and it's simply really good food made fresh with a different flavor profile than any similar spots. The tenders here are amazing! The best tenders I've had hands down. Today I tried a Rizzo bowl which is yellow rice with chopped up tenders on top with a sauce of your choice (I got cheese). The rice is excellent, really well seasoned and flavorful. The tenders didn't seem to have the same seasoning as when you just get them whole, so that was a bit of a let down. The cheese sauce was a bit lacking, I'd like more of it but it was also not as thick as I would expect. Overall very tasty but it didn't live up to the other menu items. They've done more with the inside, it's got character now and seems like it's fully finished which is great to see. The place is a little more expensive than other chicken places but the fresh factor makes it worth price.

OMG! Is this the best fried chicken I've had so far??? If it's not, it's pretty damn close. I'll talk about the chicken soon but let me tell you a bit about the restaurant. The restaurant Fry is the first of it's kind in the West. It's a franchise from Iraq and only in Dubai and several middle East countries. They take traditional fried chicken and infuse middle Eastern and Indian spices to give it's food all the love it deserves. All the chicken is hilal so expect the prices to be a little more than usual fried chicken joints. Don't let this turn you off because its SO WORTH IT! On to the chicken...YUMMMMMM! The chicken is SO moist and tender but has a great crisp on the exterior. The spices are all too familiar to me as it has turmeric, and several other eastern spices that just ooze deliciousness! They're fries are tasty and amazing. I tried the standard fries but topped with lemon and black pepper. The dining area is decent sized but very clean and modern. It has dining up to 40 ppl. Moe is amazing the service was on par with most restaurants of it's type. You can see how he values the food and how it tastes. Looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken bowls!

Had a lovely visit to the Fry. The owner took a lot of pride in the fact that everything was fresh and healthy & certified halal. The chicken and fries had a unique coating and was worth trying. They also offer burgers and wraps, dine in or carry out. It's a great family friendly restaurant.

We ordered a Chicken Sandwich, a Cheese Burger, Load fries, and the tiniest possible side of the spicy mayo sauce. Tiniest spicy mayo ($1.11) side. It was a strange experience asking for sauce since the chicken sandwich had more bread than chicken and had to charge the card again for the tiniest possible container for a sauce. Baffled! Chicken sandwich ($10.99) was a 3 star. The chicken was cooked well, but the portion of the chicken could've been a little bigger. It is a chicken sandwich; therefore we should be able to bite proper chicken in each bite instead of the bun bites. Single Cheese Burger ($12.99) absolute scam - 0 stars!!! Frozen and tasted like a cheap patty. Why even have it on the menu? Loaded fries ($10.99) a generous 3 stars. If you expect a customer to pay $11 for fries perhaps look at the amount of fries and the chicken you're loading it with. Overall I don't recommend this place until the portions reflect the price and cleanliness can be prioritized. The tables were dirty with wet marks and food smudges.

I'm at a loss for words, I see this place right next to the old Toys R us location in Niles, and I'm like, sure why not. Thinking fast food chicken, I go in and order and my first thought was what to get. I decided let's just try their basic fried chicken and compare it, as I've been on a life time search to seek out the best of everything. So, my initial thought was 7 pieces for $22 bucks, hmm, a bit pricey, but inflation is everywhere so I get it. Then the lady at the counter says 20 minute wait. I'm like, hmmm not so fast food. I end up getting the chicken with fries and rush home about 10 minutes, worried I'll lose the crisp. I get home and I look at the chicken and I'm like interesting. I get the thigh and break it open, by the way, thigh is always the best part of the chicken, there is no debate. And I'm like what the heck, it's crispy, not just crispy super crispy. I'm like wtf, I taste the chicken and I'm like WTF. Immediately I'm wondering how the frick is this chicken being made. I get my kid and my wife to try it and they are like... Holy crap. I'm like, I know, right! Honestly, I'm not doing justice to describe how good this chicken is. By the way the fries, while taking a back seat in description is superbly done as well. So, go figure the next day, I told my kid, let's stop by there again for lunch. This time I tried their zinger sandwich and chicken rice bowl. Again, I'm like... WTF after tasting both, without a doubt this is THE BEST fried chicken period. Honestly, people don't know about this place, but if they tried their chicken sandwich compared to Chick Fil A, Chick would be out of business. There is no comparison. I got a chance to talk with the owner to find out more about the chicken and I definitely gonna explore more of the menu as they had other stuff. What I did find out is the chicken isn't frozen, they don't use the typical egg that you need to mix with the batter. The batter is special and unique way of doing it and I'm still in shock how good this chicken really is. After having this level of chicken I can't go back to the way things were.

Ordered the tenders and Chicken Zinger. Both were cold and the tenders were dry. There's better choices in the area for fried chicken.

As soon as the soda…read moremachine (for the water cups!) is installed, and the Hot Chicken Shawarma Wrap makes a comeback. In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. Barring some minor notes, everything was scrumptious, and I'd happily order it all again (and likely will!)

We got here about 30 minutes before closing time. The restaurant was somewhat busy w/ dine-in and carry-out orders. I ordered their original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich made Xtra Hot based on their heat level offerings (which was the highest heat level) and my wife ordered their Honey Butter fried chicken sandwich with mild heat level. I also got their House Fries that were seasoned crinkle cut fries. We asked for cups of water but were told that they were out of cups, so either buy water or can of pop. They did not have fountain drinks. The food came out shortly. My etra hot sandwich tray was tagged as 'Hot' w/ three symbols. I asked them if that meant the sandwich was just 'Hot' and not 'Xtra Hot' and I was told that if I ordered extra hot then it meant it was extra hot. My sandwich was really delicious. The flavor was good and the texture was nice. The Xtra Hot flavor was not overwhelming but also it did not seem like the extra hot they said I should be mindful of because it was going to be very spicy. My sandwich was decently crunchy and the pickles and coleslaw had a tad bit of sweetness that went well with the heat of the fried chicken. The Brioche bun was well toasted. The fried chicken patty was decent in size. The Honey Butter fried chicken was a major letdown. It's a sandwich in Brioche bun w/ fried chicken and only spicy honey butter (no pickles or slaw). The bun and the fried chicken were drenched in melted butter but there was no taste of sweet heat or just sweet honey. The fried chicken patty didn't have any flavor either. We mentioned it to the staff members and they apologized for the way it turned out for us. The crinkle cut fries were okay. They were soft and unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was decent in taste. Overall, we had a decent experience. The service was okay. My original Nashville hot chicken was delicious but the Honey Butter chicken sandwich was anything but delicious. The restaurant aesthetics were decent. They have a live band performance area. It's a nice, friendly restaurant with a decent menu variety. We weren't wowed by the food but I would say that the original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich was worth trying.

The gyro meat has a unique, delicious flavor that keeps me coming back, and the pita is exactly how it should be, soft with just the right amount of crisp. Their fries are consistently fresh, perfectly seasoned, and always served hot. What makes this place even more special is the service. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the customer experience. On my most recent visit, Verda was exceptionally kind, patient, and welcoming to every person who walked through the door. I was especially touched by how warm and thoughtful she was with my sons. That level of genuine hospitality is becoming harder to find, and it made our meal even more enjoyable. Great food brings people in the first time, but outstanding service is what keeps them coming back. The Works delivers both. It's the kind of local business worth going out of your way to support. I highly recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit with my boys.

We didn't have leftovers and leaving 1 or 2 pieces was worth it. We ordered the fried chicken and the sweet and mild wings. They both had a nice crunchy layer of breading. Not overly breaded so each bite had a bit of crunch. The fried chicken was good but had a couple drumettes was a bit over cooked which made it dry. Still very good and will eat it again. The sweet and mild wings had a nice sweet sauce that kept the wings moist and still crunchy. The sweetness was not overpowering but just right. I'll be back to try the hot wings. It's nice they offer boneless wings so for those times you don't want to have sticky fingers it's an option. They had other things but we didn't know what they were. We just wanted the wings.
