I wasn't sure if she remembered me. She was happy to see three of her classmates attending the service. The chapel is indeed a beautiful one with the stained glass windows and chandeliers. I was amazed to see her family relatives and friends who were there to show her love and support during difficult times. Even more amazing was the people who attended had some connection to my classmates and me. It's a small world as to who we know. I enjoyed sharing high school memories, despite the circumstances. Fellowship among people attending is important and it is showing support and love for each other. Just spoke to a rude person named Candy, accusing me of falsifying records. She's so impatient and non caring considering we are talking about a person who just died! She was so unhelpful. All I needed is a receipt for the expenses we paid, which we needed to apply for my father's funeral benefits. Ms Candy needs more training in costumer service. read more

My family and I will forever be grateful for Fry Memorial. My grandpa passed away 8 months ago suddenly and they took the best care of us. They made sure we knew all the costs and explained in detail how the process would go. It was a hard time especially for my mom but they made her feel so much better. If I could I would give 0 stars, no one wants to loose a loved one Larissa was extremely rude and belittled us the whole time we were trying to set up arrangements for my brothers funeral all she kept talking about was the money like we didn't have any, she showed no compassion and was more worried about the text messages she was getting on her watch truly disappointing that there is a person like her working in this type field she should have more compassion for families who have just lost a loved one also she was very misinformed would not recommend this placed to any one due to the way she treated my family. read more

Just avoid them....you rarely need this service and if you get less than ideal service...do not give them a second chance....having to use a funeral home is a difficult time..and despite a friendly contact to work the arrangements...they placed their needs over ours...I specifically asked for no obit...my family and I were working it and wanted to inform personally before they read it in the paper...the funeral home decided they would place a "death notice" in the local paper...was a clever way around my request so what I believe was to advertise them...now I have drama on the cold, poor quality and insincerity on the notice, crying family members...costic relatives...and a host of prying businesses engaging me...my take is if you show a breach of integrity...just what else did they do for their benefit. read more

I was so distraught that they had enough empathy that they did not want me to experience that pain again by coming back to pick up my urn. My son passed away an I had no idea what to do. We had transplant people contacting us, an we hadn't even been able to see the body yet. I had no idea what to do or where to start. So, I called up the only place I knew of in the area. Death is awkward and difficult, and when it is your child, it is a million times worse. Joellene was wonderful. She explained to me the process of everything, and was so helpful to my husband and I. Without her, I don't know if I could have gotten anything done. Pricing was fair. It's a smaller price for children. Of course you don't have money set aside for the possible death of your child, so they were very patient with us for payment. It has been 3 1/2 months and I had to call and ask a question, and they immediately k we who I was and asked how my family and I were holding up. It's been more than 6 months since my father passed away, I've been meaning to review Fry's but kept putting it off until now. This was my first funeral that I've had to organize myself, although his passing wasn't sudden I think I was just in denial about it until the end which I hear is normal. With that said, the whole staff at Fry's Memorial has been more than phenomenal! My situation was not an easy one as my dad passed away in Texas but nevertheless I got a quick response from Matt and his willingness to help along with his guidance was very much so appreciated. My dads service was beautiful, the video created, the music, the whole thing was stress free and very well organized. But most of all, the messages I receive from the office to make sure everything is okay, the messages around the holidays and the text I got on my dads birthday will forever seal the deal on me knowing Fry's was the best choice made for my family. When you have to face the inevitable, Fry Memorial is the best at giving your loved ones the respect they deserve when being laid to rest. Several grandparents and my uncle's services were handled by Fry... Then our mother passed away August 2014. There was no question as to where the services would be held. Don assisted us with my mom's service, and he was excellent. He made us laugh when we didn't think we could. He was a breath of fresh air. We felt no pressure as far as pricing goes. In fact, he didn't even mention price during the initial visit. We had found a beautiful casket online and had already made the decision to purchase it and when we told him that, that was it. There was no discussion about changing our minds. After the services, there was paperwork to handle regarding life insurance, etc and Joelleen was very helpful. I don't remember the other staff members that assisted, but everyone at Fry will forever be in our debt and hold a special place in my heart. Even the two gentlemen that came to pick up our mother at home were in suits and EXTREMELY respectful when handling our mother. The process they used to prepare her for transport to Fry was beautiful. It wasn't just putting her in a bag and leaving - they had a special cloth and sheets and were just ginger when touching her. I can't say enough about this place. I've attended funerals here in the past but never had to deal with the personnel directly. They were all so caring and made the whole process go so smooth. We had a longer funeral than originally planned and the staff were so accommodating. We mainly worked with Kim but then Don who prepared our dad's body and also did the cremation was so sweet and caring and had a lot of compassion. He filled several urn's for us.
