Wanted a good Chinese lunch. I was passing by and wanted to see how this place was since my last visit. Got in and ordered Sesame Chicken, this is a favorite of mine but also got some chicken fried rice for later in the week. The service was great and yes it's take out but they were quick and the place is always clean. The food is very good and seasoned perfectly. I found this place browsing through yelp for Chinese food in the area. I saw some good recent reviews and thought I would give them a try. I ordered online for pick up and did the $50 meal for 2 that comes with fried rice +2 entrees and appetizers of spring rolls cheese wonton and dumplings. Great portions for 2 and left overs. Food was a little bland but nothing like adding soy sauce over it. The cashier was very nice and gave extra soy sauce packets. I would definitely come back and order something different on the menu to try. Not bad for being in South Hill / Puyallup! read more

I'm allergic to chicken and eggs. I have a hard time finding Asian food restaurants that serve all the flavors that chicken can be cooked into in different types of meats. I was excited to try this place because they have so many options for flavors in beef and seafood, not just chicken. I was able to order my fried rice without eggs also The lady double checked on the egg allergies when we can to pick up our food which was very thoughtful. Tried Fry Pan for the first time. Was excited for the pork fried rice; we also ordered sweet and sour chicken and almond chicken. The fried rice, to me, was too salty... like maybe there was too much soy sauce. The appearance of the dish itself was dealer than what I was expecting and that was the first thing I noticed. What I really liked about the fried rice was the amount of pork that was mixed in. For me, I would not order the pork fried rice again. The almond chicken gravy was very bland and the chicken itself was a little salty. The sweet and sour sauce was awesome and the chicken that came with the sauce was fried Perfectly. I really wanted to like this place because Chinese food in Puyallup is few and far between. Not sure I'd go back anytime soon but might give it a second chance. read more

I love calling ahead to order from fry pan because they always have everything ready when I show up to pick it up! Delicious food love the fried rice as well as just about anything on the menu including the orange chicken and the soups of course! The wonton soup is delicious. I'll be quick, this place should change their name. I was first suspicious when I saw items in the photo gallery that didn't look right, then a couple items I like were gone from the menu. When I asked the girl if there was new ownership, she advised there was. She told me most items tasted the same, but I can tell you all three items I had tasted different, and not as good as expected. It honestly tasted closer to cafateria food than amaerican chinese. I ended up putting more of my meal in the trash, and can saw with complete cofidence, I won't be back. I think the one thing worse than a restauarant closing is the name staying alive and being run into the ground and that appears to be what is going on here. So sad... read more

We ordered delivery. The food did came early and it was hot. However the shrimp fried rice was salty and the garlic chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil. The rest of the food was ok, but could have been better, perhaps next time will eat in instead of ordering delivery. read more

Ordered food for 3 last night. I get they were super busy on New Year's Eve and not complaining about the wait. My complaint is they were obviously too busy to prep or maintain food properly as my wife came down with a bad case of food poisoning. All her symptoms point this direction. (the kid was super nice) paid extra for extra almond chicken gravy.... when it was delivered the gravy was spilt all over all of my food, the whole bag was soaking wet... it was annoying, but wasn't the worst thing.
