Frymazing in Fairfield was well, Ammmazingg!! Definitely, a must for your fried chicken fix or korean fusion taste buds. Dined in, ordered from kiosk. Everything came out hot, fresh, and very tasty. Same great service as there Vallejo location, but with better parking.

    Soy garlic chicken Frymazing bowl.

Ordered it to go. Bibimbob bowl, bulgogi bowl, and a Frymazing bowl with soy garlic chicken. It looks like hamburger meat was mixed in the bulgogi meat for the bowls, which was odd. Soy garlic flavor on the chicken was very sweet which I haven't experienced at other places with this flavor. Not a fan. Rice and veggies were good. This place has great reviews and so many I've talked to rave about it. I'll have to do another tasting on other items to make a final determination. Thank you!

This place has amazing wings! I also was diggin the vibe inside. I forget what was playing but I remember just really appreciating the atmosphere. That's when my girl lemme know that she likes to have lunch and read a book. I can now see why. I ordered the half and half with the Honey Butter and Yangnyum. Sooo much flavor. And even with all the saucey goodness, all the wings still were somewhat crispy. The Yangnyum wings had a perfect balance of tanginess with sweet. Frymazings wings just taste like higher quality wings. If you are a wing aficionado, you definitely gotta check this place out.

I used to go there when they were in Vallejo. It was in a not so safe neighborhood but well when there was good food, you would go there. First time trying since they moved to Fairfield. I order their rice bowl this time and it was very tasty. The boneless chicken is crispy. You can choose from different sauce for your chicken. I went with the Korean sauce and they were good. I used to get their bulgogi loaded fries and they were always good! There are plenty of parking in this location and much safer!

Walk in and youll be greeted by the staff. Order ramen on the 1st kiosk and wings on three 2nd kiosk. This is fhe 2nd time I have been and I just love the wings. I only wish the pickled daikons would be included in the order. Nevertheless, the food comes out piping hot with crispy crunch wings and fries. All totally delicious. They also have citrus wall decor in the dining area as well as the restrooms

The best chicken I've ever had my chicken had the yum yum sauce and house sauce, never tasted anything like it

Service was fast, friendly, and with a smile. Ambiance was modern and there are some tiny plants on the shelf that are for sale. They are tropical looking. The place where u throw your trash looks very trendy and inviting haha. There's like an artificial living succulent wall as the background. You order and pay on a kiosk. I got the "lunch box" bento which had some pickled radish, boneless fried chicken, and some rice with tiny bits of bulgogi and kimchi on top. I wish there was a little bit less spicy mayo. I liked the fried chicken though. I would probably order that and plain rice again. They have this really yummy korean muscat soda. Im craving some right now actually.

I came in on a Friday afternoon to grab some lunch for the kids and I. I ran across Frymazing on Yelp on a random search of Restaurants nearby. I don't know even know this place existed until now. Being a fan of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), this restaurant stood out to me. Well, I want disappointed. Their chicken was pretty "frymazing"! Food (4.5/5 stars): - YanYum Wings: sweet, mildly spicy and tangy. - Double Crunch Wings: coated with spicy ramen dry rub and chunks of seasoned crispy fried ramen. - Bulgogi Bowl: mix of bulgogi (I've had better), cheese, green onions and chili aioli over rice. - Chicken Miso Butter Rice Bowl: chicken thigh pieces simmered in miso butter sauce, green onions and house garlic aioli. - Lunch Box Special: bulgogi rice, boneless KFC, pickled daikon and fried dumplings. Service (4/5 stars): Nothing special, like many restaurants, they are shifting towards self service. Order your food, they call your name, pick up your food and you eat. Go up to the counter if you need something, otherwise no additional service. My take out order came out fairly quickly. Ambiance (4/5 stars): They had some tables for you to eat in. I would suggest you eat in so the chicken is freshly cooked and crunchy, otherwise by the time you get home the chicken would probably not be very crunchy. There are some cute decor and is great for the social media influencer (LOL). It would be nice if they played some light Korean K-Pop to listen to while you are eating or waiting for your order. Price: On the moderate high side for what you get with the rice bowls as there isn't too much meat. The fried chicken prices were not too bad as their wings are pretty good size, bigger than most other chicken places. The lunch box special is the best deal and lets you sample various dishes. Overall, I would come here again, particularly for their KFC.

I've been to Frymazing a few times now. I wanted to wait on giving my review after sampling it a few times. Overall, I like this place a lot. You can taste the quality of the chicken. My favorite chicken flavor was the Yang Yum. Nice mix of sweet and spicy. If you are a bulgogi fan, then the bulgogi fries are a must. Also every time I go I have to have their house made lemonade. Just delish! I will say too many sweet items gets a little rich. I try to balance the sweetness with a savory item. I will definitely want to try the Jalapeno sauce wings next time. The seating area is pretty basic. The areas are very clean and well cared for. Ordering can be done by kiosk or at the register. The menus are all on monitors so things are easy to decipher. Overall this place has great food. Frymazing has deintiely made our rotation of go to eats!

Chillin' Chili Wings-Combo with garlic fries
    Rachelle L.

The wings were perfectly sweet and spicy. The garlic fries were crispy not greasy or soggy with garlic oil. Service was pretty easy. Go to the kiosk place your order and pay. There was a very friendly employee behind the counter to help or take cash. The tables were clean the interior had a nice vibe. Music reminded me of New Orleans smooth jazz.

    Joseph G.

I liked this place! It's a nice setup, made for being casual and cozy. The food is good, just the right amount of spiciness, if that's what you like. The design of the shop is great - good furnishing and decorations, and the soft piano jazz is calming and relaxing. I also really like their presentation of their food, a simple clean look all around. I enjoyed this visit, I'll stop by again when I'm in town. Pictured: their frymazing bowl, with a side of kimchi.

Tiny little wings. See my photo. It took over 20 minutes for my food to come out. I ordered the half & half wings $20 (original & soy garlic flavor) and garlic fries $5.15. The food is served in to-go containers even though I asked for dining in. They used a good batter for the wings and they tasted OK. The garlic fries were disappointing. It had a semi-sweet glaze on it without any garlic taste. Weak. At least the dining room looked nice.

DELICIOUS FOOD! they really treat you like family here! (the store is family owned) i have been here so many times over the last few months, not just because of the authentic korean food- but because the service is so amicable and friendly. the staff is very accommodating and helpful. thank you frymazing and wrap&slurp!

Do you offer any gluten free options?

Hi, we do not have any gluten free options unfortunately. We can make our bibimbap dish without rice, which would make it gluten free. We will work on some gluten free options for the future.

    Are the wings gluten free?

The wings are made with a flour batter. They are not gluten-free

Is there Monosodium Glutamate in any of the food?

The chicken bites were called MSG chicken bites, seasoned with a spicy ramen package.

Is there only chicken wings or other fried chicken parts!?

    Only wings

Hello, does Frymazing allow you to bring your own wine?

    No. They don't carry alcohol

Do they have GF options? I'm particularly interested in bulgogi.

It was lovely. I was greeted within a few moments, and seated at a table if my choosing due to the timing of when I was there. Other than the TV on at the bar, which I could hear in the dining area, it was pretty quiet with a chill vibe. I chose the eggplant and tofu. They even had brown rice available as a side--a rarity at Chinese restaurants in the area based on my experience. The staff was very pleasant, too.

Sticky Rice Chinese Bistro & Bar, Fairfield: 2026 Apr 28 (1.375 of 5)…read more WE GOT SCOLDED by the manager! I was at the counter paying the bill when the manager approached my dinner guests. She intimidated them by asking loudly why they were wasting food by not eating. My guests said they didn't enjoy the food, to which she replied that they're wasting food. How could anyone enjoy food that's inedible? She certainly did not give cause for us or our friends to step inside that eatery again. (1 of 5) Grace, server: Poor Grace looked pressured. She tried her best to accommodate us but I think she was 'shut-down' by her boss. I decided the restaurant did not deserve a tip but our server did so I pushed the tip inside her pocket. Grace mentioned that the chef is new and she would try and see if they can do something with our check. They did not and even raise the cost on one of the dishes we ordered. The price on the menu is lower that what they charged. This was an eatery we frequented for years and we usually enjoy the food here. Since we moved, we haven't visited it but our family still lives in that neighborhood so we decided to meet there for dinner. They don't take reservations but the eatery was half empty for a dinner-time seating. We sat down and was presented with their menu, which haven't changed much so it was easy to order our meal. We ordered Crab Wonton, Potstickers, Singapore-style Rice Noodles, Orange Chicken, Bulgogi. None of the dishes came with rice, so we ordered a bowl of rice. One of our guests wanted wine. Our server said the wine menu is not available, so we decided to get the house-wine. Our server returned to say the bartender is not on duty and we couldn't get even the house wine. I asked for hot water which never arrived. (1 of 5) Crab Wonton: This fried appetizer should have a crispy exterior filled with a creamy, savory mixture of cream cheese and crab meat (whether real or imitation). They are deep-fried until golden and served with sweet-and-sour sauce. The subtle seafood flavor is not quite there and the filling did not fill the parcel. The sauce here could be found on any grocery shelf but that's okay. I opened up the rest of the wonton for two reasons: (1) I wanted to see if some of them were filled, and (2) to make sure they don't serve these to unsuspecting diners. (1 of 5) Potstickers: These crescent-shaped dumplings should feature a savory filling with cabbage and ginger. They are pan-fried to produce a golden, crispy bottom and then steamed, creating a tender top, resulting in a dual-texture, savory, and aromatic bite. Although the dumplings looked good on the outside, it tasted gooey - not juicy. (1 of 5) Singapore-style Rice Noodles: I was very disappointed with my order. It tasted like the chef just poured curry powder over the top instead of cooking it in. It tasted gritty and the noodles lacked any savory nor aromatic notes. It should have a slightly spicy curry flavor but I did not taste any of that. There was no smoky or comforting yumminess to this dish. I feel that even a few drops of soy sauce would have elevated this dish - giving it an umami taste. I'm giving it a 2 because they used the right noodles. (2 of 5) Orange Chicken: This bite-sized pieces of battered, fried chicken tossed in a sweet, tangy, and savory orange-flavored sauce should boast a crispy, sticky texture with a bright citrus aroma from orange juice and zest. Instead, it had none of the garlicky, gingery, or slightly heated profile. There was no depth nor flavor at all. The dish wasn't well-balanced. (1 of 5) Bulgogi: This was the best dish we tasted this evening. The meat was tender and cut correctly. It had a mild and savory marinade but was under-seasoned. It missed the garlicky and nutty caramelized, smoky flavor. It came ala carte, like the orange chicken we ordered. They didn't even offer lettuce leaves, which usually accompany bulgogi. (2 of 5) Rice: Like the name says, the rice was on the sticky side - but cooked through. (3 of 5)

Here are the things we liked and also one little critique from something that changed from then to now: Salt and pepper pork chops: these are super good. Nice and crispy and the pork is tender. Salt and pepper fish: I always go for salt and pepper fish anywhere I go and this by far is the best one! Mapo Tofu: they do it really well here. It's perfection and hubby's fav Siu Mai: definitely great! Would get again for sure. We don't have dim sum in Vallejo so this amazing that they have this. Dry beef chow fun: now, I have been on the hunt for chow fun that reminds me of my childhood and what we used to get in SF/chinatown. This was the closest! The first time we got it, omg. Mind blown!! We got one other time before things changed. The third time we got it and even this evening, it's not the same for sure. I have a knack for remembering taste and this is not the same anymore. If anything it tastes spicy in a way they added more black pepper? Something in there is giving it that flavor. It's also darker than before like more soy sauce. I'm a little sad by this. Probably the last time I will get it. I got it tonight in the hopes it would go back to normal and the last time was a one off. Sadly it was not. The guy owner (I think he's the owner) is really nice and welcoming. If you read this, please fix the chow fun :(

We did the AYCE and I definitely got my money's worth. The service was courteous and prompt. The ambiance was typical for a K-BBQ spot- the open floor plan makes for a slightly louder place, but at least the music was not blasting so loudly that conversation was hindered. The menu has meat and other dishes that can be ordered a la carte, if all you can eat is not your thing. (Or if you don't want to have to grill your own meat.) We ordered: -Pork belly (regular, thin sliced, and soy garlic. All great, but the thin sliced has always been my favorite). -Marinated beef (tasty). -LA ribs (well marinated and not too salty). -Bulgogi and the Hawaiian bulgogi (the Hawaiian was good and I like the pineapple chunks to grill,, but preferred the regular because it was less sweet). -Shrimp (head and shell on, be prepared to peel and de-vein after grilling). -Marinated baby octopus (one of my son's favorite things he had there). Some highlights that will bring me back: -Sliced pickled radish to wrap the meat for a low carb option. -Glutinous rice paper to wrap the meat (nice and chewy texture, great touch to the marinated meat). -ALL of the banchan was spot on. Zingy kimchi, firm broccoli, not too sweet fishcakes, and seasoned bean sprouts were among our faves. -Last but not least, the crispy chicken wings. Crispy like Korean fried chicken should be with delicious sauces (we tried the sweet and spicy, and the soy garlic). Worth it to come back just for that. We will definitely be going back soon!

I walked in expecting sushi…read more What I didn't expect was to discover what might be the best shrimp tempura roll yet. Like many sushi regulars, I've gotten used to the quiet arithmetic of ordering: one roll usually isn't enough, so you order two, sometimes three, and suddenly what began as a casual meal turns into a financial decision. Then I noticed something interesting on the menu: a jumbo-sized shrimp tempura roll. Curiosity won. Ayemi's jumbo portion is roughly twice the size of a typical roll, yet priced around what many places charge for a regular one. Naturally, I had to try it. The first bite had everything you want from good tempura sushi. The shrimp was crisp and light, not greasy. The rice was soft and balanced. But there was also something else...a subtle flavor running through the roll that I couldn't quite identify. Not overpowering, just a pleasant note that made each bite feel a little more intriguing than the last. Perhaps a touch of fusion. Perhaps a house seasoning. Perhaps just careful attention to balance. Whatever it was, I was hooked. The textures layered beautifully: warm tempura crunch, cool rice, and that mysterious flavor that kept me going back for another bite. And another bite. And another bite... And here's the rare part: the jumbo roll was actually enough. For once, I didn't feel the need to order a second roll just to feel satisfied. The pricing was so fair that it left room to do something I always appreciate being able to do: tip the gracious hosts generously. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was as if they welcomed me into their home and seated me at their family dining table to break bread with them. While I was enjoying the meal, the restaurant slowly began to fill. Then it filled some more. Soon the room had that lively buzz of a place locals clearly know about. That's always a good sign. Great food has a way of revealing itself in real time. By the time I finished my meal, the place was packed. And honestly, I wasn't surprised. When a restaurant serves food this good at prices this fair, word gets around.

I ordered the Beef Ribs based on the server's recommendation. Cooked extremely tender then grilled crispy on the edges. Delicious combination with the lightly sweet and tangy Carolina style BBQ sauce. Coleslaw was very fresh and a nice pairing with the ribs. The sandwiches looked great and my friends said that tasted great, too.

They had already ordered and eaten, and I simply wanted to join them at their table. Instead, the staff refused to allow me to sit with my own group and made me sit at a separate table next to them. What made this especially frustrating was that the patio was nearly empty. Multiple tables surrounding us were completely vacant for the entire time I was there. There was no crowd, no shortage of space, and no reasonable explanation for why I couldn't sit with my friends. The staff chose to enforce a rule--or make a decision--that served no purpose other than creating an awkward and unpleasant experience. Restaurants are supposed to be in the hospitality business. Separating a guest from their own party when there is abundant empty seating all around is the exact opposite of hospitality. The complete lack of common sense and flexibility was astonishing. I've never encountered a restaurant that would rather leave tables empty than allow someone to sit with their own group. It was a needlessly rude and frustrating experience that left a far worse impression than anything related to the food. As a local resident, I've dined at plenty of restaurants in the area and have never encountered anything this rigid or inhospitable.

We came in right before the restaurant filled out at 10am and got the shakshuka along with a burger and fries. Everything was made perfectly and so flavorful. The chefs certainly have a skill for optimal taste and cooking as that was the best meal of the weekend. The server was so attentive and sweet too! We always had our water refilled and several friendly workers asked us about our triathlon experience. Very sweet people!

Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.
