It looks like they're starting to nickel and dime the customers...and $3.49 for a.glass of soda? I only got one glass because the waitress (great waitress) was so busy I couldn't get a refill.

This place has been around since I was a child! I have some wonderful memories here, sadly enough though the place hasn't really "updated" it's dining rooms. One could consider this the "attitude" of the place but I call it outdated. The food however was delicious! My partner and I went in for just deserts but I'm sure the regular menu hasn't lost its touch. I am giving this place a lower review because the waitress who waited on us took forever. Taking out orders, drinks and generally asking if we were enjoying the food came 2nd to the other two customers that were there before us (usually 30 minute increments). We had a simple easy order, it would've been simple and done with.

Thankful for them being open to get hot mug off coffee...they saved my day...they hooked me up with my 5am coffee fix while traveling. Later we headed on over for a hot breakfast of delicious bacon and French toast with more hot coffee So a big thank you from a girl who needs her morning cup of joe. Also one thing I noticed which I have never seen before while traveling is they actually had handicap door openers for the restroom highly impressed with this, coming from someone who has been on the flip side of this being temporary impaired by an injury this would have been a life saver....love this to bad more people don't install them....

IHop was closed at 3am, so we popped in here and was not disappointed in the least! Nice people! Very good food! Drove all the way from Nebraska just to eat breakfast for the night, and head home so we're happy we took the chance and stopped by!!!!

Great service, quality food, orange juice was pretty watered down and was a miss even when we asked for a replacement, but all in all it was a solid choice. Highly recommend as we get to Sioux Falls frequently and it is always a solid choice.

Lucked out and found this jewel. Delicious breakfast with the best coffee ever!

On my way to Sturgis and fell for a local hotel's "warm full buffet breakfast" scam.

The menu has a great mix of American dishes, which makes it easy to find something different depending on what you're craving. Life simply kept getting busy, but eventually we made our way over to The Attic West on a Friday evening. Apparently, everyone else in Sioux Falls had the same idea. The place was absolutely packed and the wait was quite long. At one point, we honestly considered giving up and going elsewhere, but since this had been a gift and we'd heard many locals speak highly of the restaurant, we decided to stick it out. One thing we've definitely learned while living in the Midwest is that bar-and-grill style restaurants are deeply woven into the dining culture here. Sioux Falls has many places with this sort of atmosphere, and honestly, we've adapted fairly well to it even though it differs a lot from some of the larger-city dining scenes we were used to previously. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't quite work for us. We ordered steak, jambalaya, and buffalo wings. The steak, despite being ordered medium rare, came out drier than we would have liked and lacked much distinctive flavor. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't memorable either. The jambalaya was probably the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was overwhelmingly salty to the point where it became difficult to really enjoy the dish underneath the seasoning. The buffalo wings were acceptable enough, but again, they also leaned dry. Service was understandably stretched because of how busy the restaurant was, though the staff themselves seemed to be working hard under the pressure. Overall, this simply wasn't quite our cup of tea in terms of either the food or the atmosphere. I can understand why it appeals to many locals looking for a lively Friday night gathering spot, but for us personally, it probably isn't somewhere we'd return to. A 2 out of 5 from us.

We arrived for our reservation and were seated at a table that wouldn't allow a high chair by restaurant rules. We were moved to a much smaller table that couldn't accommodate the 5 of us. The table was also located directly under a very loud speaker and a television. When asked if this table was ok, we stated our concerns that the table was very small and that our family couldn't hear each other due to the speaker. The hostess said it was all they could do. We decided to give it a chance as it was our first time here. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the chicken honey almond penne. Husband says the pulled pork itself was good but the onion rings inside the sandwich were stale making the sandwich feel past expiration. My penne was completely over cooked to the point where the chicken was more of a jerky consistency and the pasta was disintegrating if you tried to use your fork to collect it. Our other guests enjoyed the steak stating it was ok. From the start with our requests for accommodation being ignored to finish with possibly the worst dishes I've ever overpaid for, this experience was one I never would wish on anybody.
