Peace Love & Little Donuts is a donut chain that was founded in Pittsburgh and now has locations in…read moremany states. Donuts are classified has Groovy (granular, glazed, powder, or plain), Far-out (frosted), and Funkadelic (frosted with toppings). The donuts are small but are actually a nice size for eating. Examples of Groovy donuts are Saigon Cinnamon and Honey Glazed. Examples of Far-out donuts are Mocha and Banana. Examples of Funkadelic donuts are Snick Jagger, Heath Wind and Fire, PB & J, Buttafinga, Samoa, S'mores, Raspberry Truffle, Robert Brûlée, Maple Bacon, Dirt, Banana Split, and Apple Pie. As soon as my husband and I entered this store, the two employees courteously said hello to us. We decided to order six donuts for us and two donuts for our dog. Some donuts were already pre-made, and other donuts had to be made for us. The employees did a good job of applying icing and toppings to our donuts. We ate our donuts at home. Our flavors were Banana, Boston Cream, Cherry Pie, Fruity Pebbles, Raspberry Lemonade, and Strawberry French Toast. We thought that these donuts tasted good. My dog apparently also enjoyed her donuts. (See the attached photo of her!)

They were doing a deal that if you purchased a half dozen you could get a coffee for free. I don't drink coffee so they offered me one free cinnamon sugar donut, which was kind of them! So why three stars? It's fun, there are lots of options, but honestly, it's appalling how much six tiny donuts cost! Nearly $10! I can get a DOZEN full size donuts at Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts for the same price. Now, you may say, they don't have as many "fun flavors" but to me, it was not worth it. Great service, friendly staff, fun flavors, but I wouldn't waste the money on such tiny donuts again. Haha!

Wife had BBQ platter which was a very big serving. I heard no complaints from her. I had a Mexican dish, the first thing on the menu in the Mexican category. A bowl of some sort. Very well presented/plated. But I found it lacking in spicy flavor. The brisket was delicious on top. Disappointed in overall quantity for the price. Overall a good experience.

We started off with the cornbread. If my husband sees it on the menu, he must have it. It was good especially the top part was very sweet, which I loved. I didn't think the rest was as flavorful as I would have liked. Y husband loved it. I had the two Honey Chipotle Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely amazing. I loved them so much. I also liked the Mexican street corn side too. My husband thought the ribs and mashed potatoes were amazing. When my mom and I see brisket on the menu, we typically have to have it. She did along with her other favorite mashed potatoes and loved both. I don't think you can have a bad meal there. Anxious to go back and try other things.

Shared the crab cake and red wine mussels. Both are excellent. I went for a seasonal sea bass which was grilled to golden brown, seasoned perfectly. Stuffed shrimps got a very nice comments. Strawberry salmon looked very interesting. Our waitress was really attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Off the hook is on my list for the next visit

Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.
