Ambiance is great. Been her a few times with the kids. Great drinks. The food is NOT good. Ordered gator burger and fried shrimp. Order was brought out within 5 minutes of ordering. Fail#1- no fresh brewed tea. The tea is served from a syrup concentrate out of a Coke machine. And we're in the south in a tourist destination. Major major major fail. Fail#2- food wasn't warm. Interesting place for a family dinner. Lots of things to see & experience while there, such as the graffiti walls (add to it if you have a sharpie handy) & the gift shop. The outdoor area offers giant sized games (connect 4) & live alligator shows (pending the weather & temperature). Once our entire party of 10 was present, we were seated at a long corner table in a busy room. Our server, Austin, was great, keeping our table well-hydrated & satisfied with our menu choices of fried shrimp, burgers & lump crab soup. Even a minor spill was handled quickly & efficiently. Absolutely amazing! We had the gator bites, seafood nachos, seafood combo platter, gator tacos and a bacon jam noodles and cheese burger cooked medium rare. It's a wait for a table but once you check in, head to the bar for a Father Fud in a bucket. Then explore the gator tanks with the kiddos. Oh and shop! They have the coolest things. Must go to when in Destin! We go here every year and love it each time, you can feed the gators for only $5 and get a picture holding a gator for only $16. Gator shows every hour where it's very informative with lots of facts. Employees are always super friendly, bar out side and sometimes have games like hula hoop and activities for kids. Great for the family, they have Lunch if you want to stay or you don't have to and can just visit the gators. Larger gift shop. Recommend going early in order to not have to wait in line. read more

I have heard of many places to visit while in Destin. Never heard of Fudpucker's until my friend mentioned it. This is a huge place with lots of parking and going on a Sunday it was still quite busy. The front is basically a maze with all the steps so finding the entrance was a little tricky but we made our way there. We got inside and waited a few minutes to be seated. Once seated we were given what we thought were newspapers but, turned out to be the menu's. It took us some time to really decide what we wanted. Our appetizer was the Crab Dip. I wasn't big on that one. I went with a grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries and my Friend got the Gator Gumbo. My Chicken sandwich was good the fries were better. My friend liked their Gator Gumbo. Once done eating we went to look at the live gators and learned we could feed them for a certain price. Had a really difficult time learning how to get the food on the hook and had to have help. Once we got the hang of it, we went on to feed them and at the end, one of the gators ate the bait with the hook. We didn't opt to have our picture taken with a gator and you can do that here. We also went and looked at an exhibit and got to see a tank full of baby gators which was cool. We did also visit the colorful gift shop. They have lots of cool things there but, we didn't get anything. This was an awesome experience and this is definitely a place to visit while in Destin. Will be back next trip. read more

We decided to give another chance last night so our kids could get to see the alligators. This is one of those places you should try once but for most people, once will probably be enough. One of my friends who visited with me described the layout as "how my nine year old would design a building". It's fun with lots of colors and a bit of weathering typical of a coastal dive bar. The food is ok, but really not worth the price. You are paying for the experience. Having a small alligator exhibit and a live music venue is the allure. The service is friendly and upbeat. There is a decent size gift shop as well with a mix of novelty, crude humor, and typical Florida souvenirs. Go for the experience but don't expect to be blown away by it. read more

We waited for over an hour to be seated, which we felt was reasonable. There was a gator show while we waited and it was very underwhelming. Nothing more than a girl speaking about the alligators, no handling of the alligators or tricks. The whole venue is very dirty and has a musky smell. Once we were seated, we didn't have any cell reception because we were seated in the deepest darkest part of the restaurant. The food was not very good. The grease used to fry the food was very obviously old as you could taste it. My son actually threw up after his meal. The only delightful part of our experience was our server Sierra. We loved the colorful fun atmosphere for our boys, (2 under are 6), the gators and the playground. We all shared the Sampler Appetizer (fried pickles, cheese curds, onion rings. Chicken strips and hush puppies, it was yummy! The Sensual sauce was a good dip as well. My husband got the Shrimp Po Boy, and I tried their grilled Chicken sandwich both came with fries. They were both good. I also ordered a Virgin Miami Vice (Strawberry Daiquiri and Pina Colada with whipped cream) - that was my favorite item!!! Delicious and hit the spot. The best part is the ambiance with a gift shop, out door bar next to a small playground and a place to view their alligators. My grandsons had a great time. All of our food came out timely and looked good. Most importantly, it tasted good. Everyone in our party was happy with what they got. I really am stuck in the middle of two and three stars but I'll do three since our server was pretty cool and on top of everything. So there usually is a wait no matter what time you come in the summer so you can either go enjoy the gator beach while you wait or the arcade. I'll start with the food. I wasn't impressed here. Portion sizes don't match the price point to me and the food wasn't really that good to me. It honestly kinda felt like they fry everything in the same oil. The Mac and cheese was eh. The drinks - also not very impressed. My drink was weak and for the price I feel like I got shorted some of the shots listed under the drink caption.
