First time at Fuego Cravings and I was seriously impressed! The place was super clean and had a fresh, welcoming vibe as soon as we walked in. The service was outstanding--I didn't catch the cashier's name, but he truly went above and beyond. He was incredibly helpful, checked up on us multiple times, cleaned our table, brought us hot sauce, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It's rare to get that kind of service these days, and it definitely made our visit even better. I ordered the birria plate for $16.99 and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous and came with rice, beans, tortillas, lemon, and all the perfect toppings. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and just the right amount of seasoning--not too salty, which I really appreciated. As if that wasn't enough, the cashier surprised us with two complimentary agua frescas--pineapple and cucumber. Hands down, some of the best agua frescas I've had in a long time. Stopped by Fuego Cravings a few weeks ago because I was craving a burrito and fellow Yelpers led me to this spot. Their menu has a variety of options, the service was friendly, and the establishment was clean. They definitely made a strong first impression. Fuego Cravings is located off of Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga in a small shopping center. There is plenty of free parking shared among the businesses, although the spots directly in front of Fuego Cravings are limited. The establishment has a few tables and seats for customers to eat on site, but it seemed that most people stopping in ordered take out. We came in on the weekend for lunch and they had a steady stream of customers throughout our entire meal. Definitely a popular spot. Our order consisted of several items to share which included: - a Rancho Burrito - Chips & Salsa - two Birria Tacos - a Shrimp Quesadilla Everything was prepared fresh upon order and delivered to our table once ready. Quality was good and so was the food. We wouldn't say there were any standout items. Everything tasted as expected, which is exactly what we hoped for. The Rancho Burrito was generously stuffed with all components listed on the menu. I came in starving and could barely finish half of the burrito. Placed an order on their app, the usual quesabirria tacos and 6 tamales. 2 of each kind of tamales. I arrive to pick up, "oh we've been trying to call you, we only have chicken left." No apology, no voicemail left saying they only have chicken left. They made it sound like it was my fault for not picking up their call? Not even an option of choosing 2 chicken tamales and maybe a couple tacos? Disappointing. An apology would have made it acceptable. This is the first time I've been to this location as I live closer to the Upland location and frequent it often. The service here is fantastic. We were met with Gianna who was full of smiles and helped us with menu suggestions. It was Taco Tuesday so I got the birria street tacos, I usually get the regular birria taco. They were really good! Mixed reviews. I recommended this place based on the stars and comparing it to another eatery which had two stars and reading some reviews. I ordered the Birria Ramen and it was good and I thought the Quesabirria (complimentary upon Yelp check in) was very good (both beef). They came packed with lots of beef and I liked the seasoning. Two in our party that ordered Fuego Nachos on chips and curly fries found the carne asada very cold and sent them back. The third that ordered the same on regular fries had to wait longer probably to make sure her carne asada would be the right temperature. She also went back to the counter to make sure they used shredded cheese and not the nacho cheese sauce, On the table there was a sign that said parties of five or more receive Churro Bites and Chips and Salsa. We got the churros but no chips. Churros came hot and was a yummy treat to end the meal. The service was good as the complaints were taken care of promptly but not sure why the carne asada would be cold like it came from the fridge, There should be a choice of the type of cheese for the Fuego Fries posted. We were surprised to see cheese sauce but the server gave an option for shredded cheese when she suspected that would be an issue with those wanting the Fuego Chips/Fries. Also when the heated carne asada came back they separated the toppings as they felt it may have made the carne asada cold? Feeling like I should give this a two star rating but the service was consistently nice and I did like what I ordered. I just felt bad for the rest of my party (5 total) who either had to send their food back or checked to make sure their order would be made to their specifications. We also had consensus that the beef birria was As far as ambiance the place was neat and clean with ample monitors for your viewing pleasure. This place hit the spot when I had cravings for this flavor. The service at the front was welcoming. We ordered Birria quesadilla, street tacos (asada and pastor), fish taco, and a grande burrito. The Burrito -- This was HUGE. they do not skimp with fillings. Great flavor and the fries inside was a nice touch / texture that isn't typical. The beans and rice were smooth and flavorful. Street tacos -- They put HUGE portion of meat in their tacos. Do not underestimate them. Asada was great with a good chew (and not dry). The al pastor was VERY flavorful -- this is a quality flavor over quantity. Fish taco -- great contrast to the other tacos -- refreshing and the batter wasn't too thick. I know the birria offerings are more popular, but just wanted to input on the other stuff. Their sauces were not that spicy (although I hear they have a house special that you can ask for after reading through some other reviews). But the sauces compliment the food very well. No burnt or bitter flavors just to increase the heat. The red is more of a smokey / chipotle sauce whereas the green is more of a brighter / typical green sauce flavor. We will be back. read more
