I know people don't always like to be checked on mid feedings, but the attention was on point. We are coming back for dinner next week and if I was a local, they would know my name and my "usual". On our table was the following delicacies: Chilaquiles Clasicos with Carne asada, Chilaquiles Chipotle with Chicken, Eggs Benedict with carne asada, gluten free option was the Veggie Omelette w/breakfast potatoes, complimentary chips & salsa, great flavuuur by the way! I tried it for the first time over the weekend. I was a later arrival and my party was already enjoying their food. It took some time for my order to be taken. I thought clearly stated what I'd like to have. Unfortunately the enchiladas took a very long time to make it to the take, while my party was now boxing up their plates. To my surprise there was no chicken as requested. I just checked with the sever to ensure I was not charged the additional fee for protein. The rice was crunchy, and the beans was not even above room temp. To me this indicates food that sat awhile. While the flavor of the enchiladas was decent, the cheese was already starting to solidify again. I do not plan to return. read more

We just had dinner to celebrate my mothers birthday. We were a party of 10 including 4 children. You would think for spending $600 for dinner we'd get good service. The server check on us twice during the whole time there. It felt like we were a burden to ask for something. The place was practically empty, only a few tables occupied and 3 large parties. We had to wave down the server for refills. We tried waving someone for a high chair but he looked at us and looked away and continued walking. There seemed to be enough help but they were too busy talking in a group to acknowledge the customers. I went to the restroom and no hand soap on any dispenser nor paper towels. How can a "high end" place not have the basic needs. Food was definitely not worth the price. The only good thing was the rice and beans. The salsa that comes with the chips tastes horrible. It had too much cumin. We got our appetizers with no plates no napkins it took the server over 15-20 minutes to bring us the plates but shortly after we got our main dishes. So we hardly touched our appetizers we ended up taking them to go. When we arrived there was no host to guide us to our party. We waited and since no one acknowledged us we went to look for our party that was already seated. Overall I rate the place an experience a 4 out of 10. I strongly believe that they should work on their customer service. The staff should be friendly and should check up on their tables more often. This was our first time here and we were not disappointed!! We went in the about 3pm. The perfect time! Right after brunch so the brunch crowd was gone! The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. I loved the setup. They played great music and the staff were very nice! My wife had the taquitos which were filled with potato and chicken. She said they were really good and not salty. They were served nice and hot and topped with Mexican cheese and pickled onions. I had the Carne Asada Enchiladas with Mexican rice and black beans. The enchiladas were well stuffed with carne asada. The carne asada was very tender and cooked well. The meat was 99% fatless cut of meat. It wasn't over salted or seasoned. It was just right! The guacamole was perfect on top. The guacamole was a good sized side and very tasty with very low salt which made it more enjoyable. To top off our meal we had the Churro's and ice cream. It was very good! The churros tasted like they were stuffed with something but idk what. They were very good! We could have used more ice cream. That's the only bad thing I have to say. Stopped by here this past sunday night with my wife, daughter and grand daughter. The vibe here was nice and romantic. I'd like to come back on a Friday or Saturday night. The music they were playing almost made my wife and I get up and start dancing as if it was a Saturday night lol. The service fast, and the staff is very friendly. The manger came out and greeted us. Came here for a birthday celebration and loved the warm, welcoming vibe. The space has vibrant decor and a laid back atmosphere that sets the tone right away. The tacos were excellent as they were tender, flavorful meat with just the right seasoning. The ceviche was fresh and well balanced, and both the food and drinks were beautifully presented. Not worth the money. Valentines dinner was a complete disaster. Never again!! My wife's food came out 45 minutes after mine, and the lobster was under cooked. Raw! . . See picture , you can clearly see the color of the tail , and the glossy meat. . Cooked lobster turns RED. . They still try to charge me for it, keep in mind that I was already charged upfront for a bottle of Moet in order for me to reserved. The food was not what I expected for the price, after all we ate fajitas it was the quickest thing to cook and I believe it would be the easiest, but the trio plate only had two ! We were so looking forward to having a day of the dead dinner here. It was advertised so beautifully. Said there would be Katrina's, mariachis , face painting if you desired. The walk into the restaurant was beautiful. Lined with flowers and candles. In one corner was a magnificent alter honoring loved ones. We were seated and given a menu. A menu we were unable to see because it was so dark. There was no lighting at the table. We had to use the flashlights on our phones. We ordered appetizers. They came and we very literally could not see them. Once again. Flashlights out. Finally the waitress brought us a table lamp. I asked where the Katrina's were. They sent them over. Although they were absolutely stunning young ladies they were not Katrina's . They had some paint on their faces carried candles and wore slip dresses. Cute but not Katrina's. We were at at table for two and had to YELL at each other to be heard. The music was techno music at a rave level. Not an atmosphere for Day of the Dead. Once they turned the tecno off and turned classic Mexican Music on at a comfortable level we no longer had to yell. I asked about the Mariachi and they said they were coming later. We left at 8 and never saw them. Needless to say it was a very disappointing dinner. I must say the wait staff was fantastic! They were sympathetic to our concerns. The food was good. The ambience of this place is so nice! It really gives upscale Mexican restaurant. The moment you walk in you are met with faux candlelight as you walk up to the podium and greeted by the hostess. I came here for my family members birthday and there were approximately 10 of us and we had a reservation and we were seated immediately, the customer service was great. The vibes were great. The music is chefs kiss excellent especially if you are a person who loves your hip-hop and R&B and little bit of reggaeton. There were so many birthdays being celebrated in this place, and they came out with signs and a different song for each person whose birthday it was - I hope that makes sense. The food was just OK. It was kind of disappointing that food options that we saw online were not available the day we visited, but we were informed by our wonderful waiter that their menu had been changed recently as they were recently closed for approximately three months so that was fine. My food was OK. I had the taco bar where you're able to choose three different tacos. The guacamole and chips is a 10/10. I give the whole experience a 7 / 10 the food 7/10 but the vibes and the customer service 12 out of 10. read more

Disappointing & Uncomfortable Experience Despite Advance Booking We booked a company Christmas dinner here for a party of 18, reserved a full week in advance through OpenTable with text verification, phone confirmation, and multiple in-person check-ins prior to the event. Unfortunately, the experience was chaotic and uncomfortable from start to finish. Early in the night, one of the waitresses made an offhand remark in the bathroom, unaware it was us , about how the DJ was "usually outside" but wasn't because "someone booked the patio." That "someone" was us. We did politely let her know, and although she seemed shocked, we brushed it off. Later in the evening, that same waitress came outside and told us the owner (Edimar )was wondering when we would be done, which was shocking considering our reservation was confirmed from 6-10 p.m. and it wasn't even halfway through that time. For context, our colleague confirmed the reservation over the phone with Brandon, was told the area would be reserved, and that we chose a great night because there would be a DJ. The same Saturday afternoon, decor and cake were dropped off by my colleague who again was told to / and DID confirmwith Edimar, who reassured us that the patio was fine for our reservation and that this night they had the DJ inside. However, during our night when we asked about turning on the speakers outside so our group could enjoy the music as well, we kept getting the runaround. Eventually, later in the evening around 9:30 another waiter told us that the party inside had booked the DJ for themselves, by the owner Edimar which felt strange. Any restaurant I dine and drink at would typically make sure all guests, especially a large, pre-booked party, feel included, not secluded or rushed. Mind you, aside from our group, the restaurant wasn't very busy that night. My friend and I did speak up inside to express our concerns. We were offered a complimentary round of shots, which felt underwhelming given the situation. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due, the busser (I sincerely wish I remembered his name) had great energy and truly helped keep the vibe positive. Ultimately, our company Christmas party was successful because of each other, not the service. Very disappointing experience overall, especially after taking every step possible to plan and confirm ahead of time. Came here for dinner as I was craving Mexican food with chips and salsa. The ambiance is nice and open. However, that was pretty much the highlight of our night. The food was good but nothing fancy and was not served hot. The chips were the hottest thing served to us. Our server was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed which made our service slow. Sadly, no management ever was observed table checking or assisting the servers who seemed to be overwhelmed with a rush that came in right after us. The continue the disappointment, the music playing was extremely loud, vulgar, explicit, and degrading. Honestly, I don't think I've ever eaten at an establishment where the music was a problem. We might as well have went to a club. The food prices are pretty high for the portions given. The beans were salted nicely and the rice was bland and nothing special. Here's what we ordered. Green enchiladas: 7/10 served room temperature and is around $24.00 since they are a la cart and charge 2.99 to add the beans and rice. Chile relleno: 7/10 tiny chili for $20.00 and served room temperature. For the two entres and one drink our total was $58.00 and definitely not worth the money. We really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but we have other local options that are significantly better and better costing. Highly recommended Elvira's in Claremont if you're looking for the esthetics and good prices. Another more affordable but delicious option is Los Paisanos Restaurant in Fontana. This used to be one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, they've changed ownership and the entire menu! Not for the better. Had the BBQ ribs for appetizer, and they were not bad, just had too BBQ sauce and fat in them. If you order, get the sauce on the side. They've drastically reduced the menu. The problem with this is that they've added things that just don't cut it as being some of their main dishes or appetizers. Tried the rib eye aguachiles and it was terrible. Made with a soy sauce, that's really all you could taste and it was too salty. The meat was chewy and full of fat and gristle. Left more than half on the plate. The main dish was the lamb shank or as listed on the menu, "BORREGO EN CHILE COLORADO $35". The lamb was very tender and well cooked, but the Colorado sauce was all you could taste. There was no variety of flavors and took away from the lamb. Maybe if the sauce has a fuller range of flavor it would have been better, but it was just overpowering. We were asked by management how everything was and I shared exactly what I put here, and instead of trying to understand and take notes, he defended their menu and the way things were prepared. Didn't offer to take anything off the check or replace with something else. Very poor customer service. This used to be one my favorite spots, but now this place is not the same. Don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else. Food is trash and overpriced. Service is mediocre at best. Only thing good was the Margarita flight, but you can get that anywhere else for cheaper. read more

We waited about 20 minutes just to be seated. Even then, the restaurant wasn't fully ready: most of the lights were off, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. A server finally arrived around 10:30, but service was painfully slow despite there only being two tables. It took another 30 minutes before we could even place our order. When the food came, it was either undercooked or overcooked. My "over easy" eggs, for example, had no yolk at all--more like a boiled egg than what I ordered. Food was not good overall and definitely reheated quality. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the food was poorly prepared, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and we didn't get seated until nearly an hour later. From the start, it was clear the servers were overwhelmed -- it appeared there were only two on duty for a packed house. They rolled out a special Valentine's Day menu, likely to maximize profits, but it completely backfired. The seating situation was chaotic and tacky -- rented round tables and mismatched chairs squeezed in to fit as many couples as possible. It felt disorganized and uncomfortable. We ordered guacamole... and there were no chips. Our food didn't arrive until almost two hours later, and even then, my order never came out properly. People were visibly upset and walking out -- and honestly, I don't blame them. After being there nearly three hours, I had enough. The only bright spots of the evening were the live music and being able to spend time with my girlfriend -- which ended up being the best part of the night. If management happens to read this, please stop trying to take advantage of people on special occasions. It damages your reputation far more than it helps your bottom line. Went for Saturday brunch. The food and drinks were great. I had the regular margarita and a Paloma which were perfect. Ate the enchiladas divorciadas with birria and were so delicious. My daughter and I had dinner last night here for the first time. We both had long days at work. She wanted to enjoy her favorite beer, Pacifico. They did not have my favorite beer, however, I toasted with her anyways to a positive week. We were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. It was also decorated beautifully. Our waiter was absolutely the sweetest young man ever. There was also an owner or a manager that approached us several times and he was a complete doll as well. The food was really good. We had nachos with Carne Asada on them. We both also had the fajitas with steak. My daughter has been a vegetarian for months and she decided to try meat again and she said it was absolutely delicious after so many places having rubbery nasty meat. They also had her grilled jalapeños and grilled green onion on the sizzling fajitas. It was definitely a wonderful experience. We will be back. I just had to say a few words regarding Luxe Kitchen. Today I was not impressed with the service. It took entirely too long to receive service, staff was all over the place, very hot inside and the food was subpar. I asked if the bartender and our service if they could change the channel to the basketball game never got a response. When I asked, our host stated that they couldn't change the channel. Now a gentleman came in sat at bar and asked to change to the soccer game and he got the request. Next time read your audience because it was definitely a mixed crowd. However, I came back last week after they reopened following a couple of months of closure, and unfortunately, things are no longer the same. They no longer offer complimentary chips and salsa, the menu is very limited, and they no longer serve fresh aguas frescas. On top of that, the food quality has gone down significantly. To make matters worse, the music was extremely loud--so loud that I had to raise my voice just to talk across the table to my family, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. I'm not sure if management changed during the reopening, but the overall experience was disappointing. One positive thing I can say is that the staff is still friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, there are far more cons than pros overall, and despite the good service, this is not a place I'll be returning to. read more

It is a large venue, so it can easily handle big groups, but it is just as good for smaller gatherings or a casual meal. We came to try this place, because we were recommended here by a server from another restaurant. We came for brunch. Service- our server was great, friendly and very attentive. And her recommendations were great. Food- aguachiles and mole plate- food was very good. We had guacamole with chicharrón that one was average and the guac didn't have any salt. Not sure if that's the way they serve it. Drinks- nicely done Place- clean and nicely decorated. Happy for the recommendation of the out server and for the server at the other restaurant. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 is because it does take a bit of a wait for food, drink and to pay the bill. Will be coming back to try dinner and other food options. read more

I had seen a nice video in instagram and took my family and friends because the video made it seem like it was a great place to go to, authentic Mexican food and a great selection. It was not so, the video was outdated, the menu selection was limited, the taste was just ok and the prices were just too high for what they're serving. I asked for what they called chicharrones with guacamole, it was two thin slices of deep fried bacon and guacamole too big of a price tag. Very disappointed, horchata does not have a refill.
