    Churros and ice cream
    Manuel G.

This was our first time here and we were not disappointed!! We went in the about 3pm. The perfect time! Right after brunch so the brunch crowd was gone! The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. I loved the setup. They played great music and the staff were very nice! My wife had the taquitos which were filled with potato and chicken. She said they were really good and not salty. They were served nice and hot and topped with Mexican cheese and pickled onions. I had the Carne Asada Enchiladas with Mexican rice and black beans. The enchiladas were well stuffed with carne asada. The carne asada was very tender and cooked well. The meat was 99% fatless cut of meat. It wasn't over salted or seasoned. It was just right! The guacamole was perfect on top. The guacamole was a good sized side and very tasty with very low salt which made it more enjoyable. To top off our meal we had the Churro's and ice cream. It was very good! The churros tasted like they were stuffed with something but idk what. They were very good! We could have used more ice cream. That's the only bad thing I have to say. Overall it was a very satisfying experience. I recommend it! We loved it!

Stopped by here this past sunday night with my wife, daughter and grand daughter. The vibe here was nice and romantic. I'd like to come back on a Friday or Saturday night. The music they were playing almost made my wife and I get up and start dancing as if it was a Saturday night lol. The service fast, and the staff is very friendly. The manger came out and greeted us. The Bartender Alek makes amazing drinks !!! One of the best bartenders we've come across in a long while. We'd definitely come back and try other items on the menu soon!

Came here for a birthday celebration and loved the warm, welcoming vibe. The space has vibrant decor and a laid back atmosphere that sets the tone right away. The tacos were excellent as they were tender, flavorful meat with just the right seasoning. The ceviche was fresh and well balanced, and both the food and drinks were beautifully presented. Staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Overall, a great spot for a fun, relaxed celebration. We'll definitely be back.

Look how the lobster tail is not RED, and the meat is glossy. clearly that is RAW!

Not worth the money. Valentines dinner was a complete disaster. Never again!! My wife's food came out 45 minutes after mine, and the lobster was under cooked. Raw! . . See picture , you can clearly see the color of the tail , and the glossy meat. . Cooked lobster turns RED. . They still try to charge me for it, keep in mind that I was already charged upfront for a bottle of Moet in order for me to reserved. The food was not what I expected for the price, after all we ate fajitas it was the quickest thing to cook and I believe it would be the easiest, but the trio plate only had two ! Again total fail . . Either way we could've had better fajitas anywhere else for nothing. Horrible experience, owners need to re think their business model which is not working.

We were so looking forward to having a day of the dead dinner here. It was advertised so beautifully. Said there would be Katrina's, mariachis , face painting if you desired. The walk into the restaurant was beautiful. Lined with flowers and candles. In one corner was a magnificent alter honoring loved ones. We were seated and given a menu. A menu we were unable to see because it was so dark. There was no lighting at the table. We had to use the flashlights on our phones. We ordered appetizers. They came and we very literally could not see them. Once again. Flashlights out. Finally the waitress brought us a table lamp. I asked where the Katrina's were. They sent them over. Although they were absolutely stunning young ladies they were not Katrina's . They had some paint on their faces carried candles and wore slip dresses. Cute but not Katrina's. We were at at table for two and had to YELL at each other to be heard. The music was techno music at a rave level. Not an atmosphere for Day of the Dead. Once they turned the tecno off and turned classic Mexican Music on at a comfortable level we no longer had to yell. I asked about the Mariachi and they said they were coming later. We left at 8 and never saw them. Needless to say it was a very disappointing dinner. I must say the wait staff was fantastic! They were sympathetic to our concerns. The food was good. The drinks perfect. I may try it again on a normal night, although it was a bit pricey too. Again let me say the staff was amazing.

Disappointing & Uncomfortable Experience Despite Advance Booking We booked a company Christmas dinner here for a party of 18, reserved a full week in advance through OpenTable with text verification, phone confirmation, and multiple in-person check-ins prior to the event. Unfortunately, the experience was chaotic and uncomfortable from start to finish. Early in the night, one of the waitresses made an offhand remark in the bathroom, unaware it was us , about how the DJ was "usually outside" but wasn't because "someone booked the patio." That "someone" was us. We did politely let her know, and although she seemed shocked, we brushed it off. Later in the evening, that same waitress came outside and told us the owner (Edimar )was wondering when we would be done, which was shocking considering our reservation was confirmed from 6-10 p.m. and it wasn't even halfway through that time. For context, our colleague confirmed the reservation over the phone with Brandon, was told the area would be reserved, and that we chose a great night because there would be a DJ. The same Saturday afternoon, decor and cake were dropped off by my colleague who again was told to / and DID confirmwith Edimar, who reassured us that the patio was fine for our reservation and that this night they had the DJ inside. However, during our night when we asked about turning on the speakers outside so our group could enjoy the music as well, we kept getting the runaround. Eventually, later in the evening around 9:30 another waiter told us that the party inside had booked the DJ for themselves, by the owner Edimar which felt strange. Any restaurant I dine and drink at would typically make sure all guests, especially a large, pre-booked party, feel included, not secluded or rushed. Mind you, aside from our group, the restaurant wasn't very busy that night. My friend and I did speak up inside to express our concerns. We were offered a complimentary round of shots, which felt underwhelming given the situation. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due, the busser (I sincerely wish I remembered his name) had great energy and truly helped keep the vibe positive. Ultimately, our company Christmas party was successful because of each other, not the service. Very disappointing experience overall, especially after taking every step possible to plan and confirm ahead of time. (Photos reference: Waitress asked me 5x how to spell Polina & I had even prepared and printed all our guest names with orders and showed her how to spell Birthday girl and guy names - to another fail :)

Came here for dinner as I was craving Mexican food with chips and salsa. The ambiance is nice and open. However, that was pretty much the highlight of our night. The food was good but nothing fancy and was not served hot. The chips were the hottest thing served to us. Our server was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed which made our service slow. Sadly, no management ever was observed table checking or assisting the servers who seemed to be overwhelmed with a rush that came in right after us. The continue the disappointment, the music playing was extremely loud, vulgar, explicit, and degrading. Honestly, I don't think I've ever eaten at an establishment where the music was a problem. We might as well have went to a club. The food prices are pretty high for the portions given. The beans were salted nicely and the rice was bland and nothing special. Here's what we ordered. Green enchiladas: 7/10 served room temperature and is around $24.00 since they are a la cart and charge 2.99 to add the beans and rice. Chile relleno: 7/10 tiny chili for $20.00 and served room temperature. For the two entres and one drink our total was $58.00 and definitely not worth the money. We really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but we have other local options that are significantly better and better costing. Highly recommended Elvira's in Claremont if you're looking for the esthetics and good prices. Another more affordable but delicious option is Los Paisanos Restaurant in Fontana. You can thank me later.

This used to be one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, they've changed ownership and the entire menu! Not for the better. Had the BBQ ribs for appetizer, and they were not bad, just had too BBQ sauce and fat in them. If you order, get the sauce on the side. They've drastically reduced the menu. The problem with this is that they've added things that just don't cut it as being some of their main dishes or appetizers. Tried the rib eye aguachiles and it was terrible. Made with a soy sauce, that's really all you could taste and it was too salty. The meat was chewy and full of fat and gristle. Left more than half on the plate. The main dish was the lamb shank or as listed on the menu, "BORREGO EN CHILE COLORADO $35". The lamb was very tender and well cooked, but the Colorado sauce was all you could taste. There was no variety of flavors and took away from the lamb. Maybe if the sauce has a fuller range of flavor it would have been better, but it was just overpowering. We were asked by management how everything was and I shared exactly what I put here, and instead of trying to understand and take notes, he defended their menu and the way things were prepared. Didn't offer to take anything off the check or replace with something else. Very poor customer service. This used to be one my favorite spots, but now this place is not the same. Don't recommend this place at all. Go somewhere else. Food is trash and overpriced. Service is mediocre at best. Only thing good was the Margarita flight, but you can get that anywhere else for cheaper.

I had reservations at 10:00, but when we arrived at 10:15 there was not a single server or host in the restaurant--just kitchen staff who told us no one had shown up yet. We waited about 20 minutes just to be seated. Even then, the restaurant wasn't fully ready: most of the lights were off, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. A server finally arrived around 10:30, but service was painfully slow despite there only being two tables. It took another 30 minutes before we could even place our order. When the food came, it was either undercooked or overcooked. My "over easy" eggs, for example, had no yolk at all--more like a boiled egg than what I ordered. Food was not good overall and definitely reheated quality. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the food was poorly prepared, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. We came to Brio to celebrate my wife's birthday, and Winter helped make the evening extra special!…read moreShe was absolutely awesome, attentive, friendly, and such a great sport with all of my teasing about Brio not having the Parmesan Truffle Wheel Pasta. She played right along and had a great sense of humor. It's always nice when you get a server who doesn't just provide excellent service, but also makes the experience fun and memorable. Winter definitely did that for us. She made us feel welcomed and helped make my wife's birthday dinner a great one. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully next time I can stop giving Winter a hard time because the Parmesan Truffle Wheel Pasta will finally be back on the menu! Thank you, Winter, for the great service and for helping make my wife's birthday celebration special! 5 stars!

DO NOT DINE HERE IN SUMMER HEAT…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should know. The biggest issue was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was uncomfortably hot from the moment we walked in. For a restaurant that markets itself as more upscale, it's unbelievable that the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It wasn't just us either--I saw the hostesses fanning themselves to stay cool, which says a lot when the employees can't even get relief from the heat. When we asked if the air conditioning could be turned up, our waitress explained that all of the air comes from the back private dining room, and when there's a private event and the curtains are closed, the airflow gets blocked. If that's truly how the air system is designed, that's a major problem. That is not a reasonable explanation to give paying customers. The heat completely took away from what should have been an enjoyable dinner. We noticed multiple other guests fanning themselves throughout the meal, so it was clearly affecting everyone, not just our table. If you're planning to dine here during the summer, I'd strongly recommend going somewhere else until they fix the air conditioning. Instead of addressing the problem, they seem content making excuses, and it resulted in one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've had.

The way it was going to be prepared was with spring mix, which I don't prefer. I asked for a spicy skinny margarita, and they were able to accommodate me for that as well! Yummy! The reason for the four stars is because the parking lot is extremely dark and sketchy looking. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe outside there. I feel like it could easily be fixed with an investment in better lighting outdoors.

We were looking for a Sunday brunch buffet and decided to try this location. The brunch is…read more$30/adult and $15/child. The food was mediocre but preferred the "on the spot" chef selection where we could order, chilaquiles, fresh tacos, omelets, and quesadillas. The menudo seemed as if it were sitting in the warmer so long it created a dry, thick layer at the top from sitting there for who knows how long. The churros were hard, unsweetened fruits, and dry macaroni salad. The tacos, quesadillas, and chef made eggs were tasteful. The waitress was very attentive and constantly changing out of dishes. Perhaps this day was a fluke as the hostess mentioned they are usually crowded but it was pretty empty when we arrive at 12:30. The do have a pretty large TV in the room next to the bar area and a stage under. Flyers were noted stating Banda on Saturday nights. Overall, the of lack of customers may have resulted in lack of turn around with their buffet...we may try it again soon but overall 3 stars for the service and the cooked food items.
