Went on a Friday night. Got a carnitas taco and Fajitas. The carnitas was awesome. Nice crispness and seasoning. The mixed fajitas were delicious with lots of shrimp and way more meat than the veggies just like it should be. Service was awesome. Will be back

Service and especially the food is always fresh and great tasting. This is my favorite go to spot for Mexican in Atascadero.

Great spot in Atascadero. They are fairly new and took over the old Burrito Express location. Though they have the same menu I was told they are not affiliated. Ordering through their web site or app "from the restaurant" is super easy. I had a chile relleno burrito and it was delicious! Came back two weeks later for another. This time I also ordered a carnitas burrito for my Gramma. She loved it. Not too many places in the north county to rave about when it comes to Mexican food but this place has not disappointed. Another important thing is the prices. Very reasonable!! I have paid much more for much worse. Staff is friendly. Inside the restaurant is a big space for dining and attached they have a banquet room that can be rented for parties! Congratulations to the new owners I wish you much success! Can't wait to come back and try another dish.

A pic of us enjoying the Resturant. Sorry next time good ;)

Totally totally totally recommend this place first of all. It looks kind of small on the outside but you walk in and there's quite a bit of room all the way back very clean very inviting. All the employees are so very welcoming and provide excellent service! The food, I can't say enough, just from the chips alone. Those were so good and tasted so fresh and the tortillas that they used amazing! We had the chorizo and egg tacos, which were super super good! And the salsa that they provided was so tasty and was fresh. I will definitely make the spot a place to go back to, we came in from out of town and from now on whenever we come in we will make sure to visit here. Thank you guys for making the visit so special. I didn't get pictures of food but next time I will.

Seven seas at ROUTE 101 MEXICAN RESTAURANT I. ATASCADERO! DELICIOUS!!

A hidden gem in Atascadero!! Definitely going back soon! Gonna do the cheap Taco Tuesday next time!!

My wife and I stopped by while passing through to San Luis Obispo…read more I did want to mention that this restaurant is under new ownership. First with the positives, this place is very big inside, they offer plenty of seating for large groups, and also have a very nice bar area. Now on to the negatives. Upon arrival we were greeted by... no one, we walked into the seating area and found a worker who said that we could sit anywhere we like. The place was almost completely empty except for one couple. We were brought chips and salsa and menus and we not interacted with again for about 8-10 minutes. No waters or anything. Finally when our waiter did get our order, we finally received waters. I honestly felt like an inconvenience. I ordered the shrimp burrito. When it arrived I was pretty surprised with how sad it looked. Literally just a burrito on a plate. No sauce or no cheese on top, no garnish nothing. Very disappointing. Nothing like the other pictures posted. And 19 dollars! My wife's plate looked presentable. Flavor was just ok. They definitely need to work on presentation as well as consistency. For 54+ dollars, I wouldnt return.

I had a Paloma which was tasty, but the real star was their horchata - so creamy good! Ambiance Black tables, chairs, and concrete-like tile, so noisy, but not overly so. Good for casual dates, girls or guys' nights, and large groups. We were told that tonight (Friday) at 9:30 a DJ will be coming in and there'll be karaoke on their stage, which we'll have to check out another time. All-in-all, a solid dining experience and excellent service.

We have eaten grilled and fried fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the dishes are filling and satisfying. The fish tacos have a nice helping of shredded cabbage and sauce. The homemade chips with the salsa on the side are nice and crispy. There are tables outside and even though there are a lot of people, there is a lot of turnover so there's always an open table. Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.

Despite coming in late, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sausage and broccolini gemelli was well executed. My only criticism is the use of burrata on the dish. Because it was placed directly on top of the hot pasta, it essentially cooked the burrata, which kind of misses the point of serving burrata in the first place. Rather than adding richness or contrast, it muted the flavors of the sausage and broccolini and made the dish taste a bit bland. I think a stronger cheese that holds up better to heat, such as Pecorino Romano, would have complemented the pasta much better. That said, the service was excellent and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. Overall, a very good experience and I'd happily return.
