Is Cisco's 'syrup' really that much cheaper than real maple? While I know the answer is cost cutting, can't they really take it from somewhere else? I have to say the hot cakes were definitely hot and good. But without a proper real maple syrup, the cakes as well as the experience fell flat. It's a damn shame. Gotta say I won't be returning; or if I do, I will bring my own maple syrup.
