We have many pets who travel with us, live in the country and are hard core commuters. So our vehicles are quite smelly and very dirty with hair, mud, seat stains etc. I have tried to much of this myself as well as have taken to car wash detailers but still would not want anyone to join me in a car ride!! SCAM!!!! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY I bought a Groupon for a car detail and didn't check yelp. My fault. If Groupon will not refund my $50 I will dispute the charge with Discover. Your credit card company will (or should) always fight for you. My husband called to schedule an appointment (I bought the deal for him as a gift). It's a 415 area code for a Concord "business" so it's likely a cell phone. That should have been a warning. In his message he mentioned his Groupon. Mistake! We read the other yelp review detailing a similar experience to ours and I called back to schedule an appointment, this time leaving out the bit about our deal. Carlos Fuentes called me back not long after and was very happy to set up my appointment. Until he asked how I'd heard about them. He had first said February 26th, which I agreed to even though it's a month away. Then he quickly changed his mind and said "it'll be March. Oh wait, no... June. June is the soonest appointment." What??!! The Groupon expires in April and that is FIVE (5!!!) months away. This is NOT why people buy Groupon deals. It is also IMPOSSIBLE that many appointments have been scheduled. It's auto detailing, after all. My husband received a call back a day later and was told it would be June - that the Groupon would be honored after the expiration date. This is absolutely unacceptable. Terrible businesses practices deserve a report to the proper authorities. Not only will I get my money back, I hope this business sccam is legally pursued by Groupon. Dealing with companies like this will RUIN their business and reputation. I would never have bought this if I'd checked yelp first. :( read more

I recently bought a used car that had not been detailed before I bought it, and it hadn't been taken care of very well by the previous owners (dog hair and road dust throughout the inside, sticker residue on windows, broken glass in trunk, etc.). I knew I needed a true detail and not just a quick was like they do at the car wash down the street. When I saw Fuentes Auto Detail on Groupon it was an easy decision to give him a try. Mr Fuentes made my car look and feel brand spanking new. Due to rainy weather he was also flexible with my appointment to ensure we could find a time and place that he could wash my car inside without rainwater getting into my car. Note: If it's raining you'll need to have your car detailed in a garage or under a carport, otherwise you'll have to wait until it stops raining - he cares about quality and he knows you're not going to be happy if your freshly detailed car gets wet inside. He was absolutely meticulous, taking a full four hours to wash and detail my car inside and out. No corners were cut and everything sparkled. Kudos to Fuentes Auto Detail! I would absolutely use them when I need my car detailed again. read more

He takes pride on what he does and took photo of my car as it's amazing what he did on the exterior bringing out the best of teal color. It felt glassy! He also thoroughly cleaned the mats and interior. Had no prob making appointment and confirming the appointment. He was always courteous and showed up in time. He wanted to the work right and asked to do the work inside a garage as it rained today. He spent good 2 1/2 hrs... Highly recommend and I'm going to have him work on our other cars. Bought a Groupon for our two cars back in November. Turns out we couldn't get an appointment until today - the end of April. Appt. was set for 10AM. When he hadn't showed or called by 10:15, I asked Huz to call. He got voicemail. I called an hour later when we still hadn't heard anything - I got voicemail. While I was on the phone with Groupon about this (they suggested we wait another hour (!), he called my husband back. Turns out Carlos had taken down my husband's number incorrectly. he had called yesterday to confirm. When he didn't hear back. he thought we weren't interested. So he arrived past noon. He's done with my car, a crossover. We don't have kids, and the dog seldom rides with us - and I have leather seats. Went out to take a look and I could have done as well at the carwash. My two front seats get all the use in my car, and they were untouched - it doesn't even look like he did a decent job of vacuuming them. He didn't rinse off the clear floormats we have. I was careful to remove EVERYTHING from my car to make the job easier for him. Maybe he does a better job for those who are non-Groupon customers, I don't know - but nobody is forced to work with Groupon, so that doesn't make sense to me. We'd gotten cash to tip according to the full price for detailing both cars, but with this careless job, he is not getting a fat tip. read more

This guy is a crook! Dont trust him. I purchased a Groupon for a full auto detail and he refused to book the appointment! he told me he was book 4 months out. Then I called back to try and book the appointment without a Groupon and he is available on Sunday 6 days from the time I called. When I asked for a refund he told me to go to Groupon. When I called Groupon they said I have to deal with him because it had been more than 7 day from the time of purchase. He is a lier and a thief! read more

Carlos did an amazing job on two of my cars, he brought out the shine and cleaned them up like no other detail I've had before. Having run a detail shop in my younger days, I know that not just anyone with a bucket and rag can detail a car properly, it takes an "eye" that not everybody is born with. Carlos has it. Considering I too was a Groupon customer and had to wait many months for him to come, the wait was well worth it. I've been treated poorly by some businesses when I produce my Groupon voucher, but the complete opposite is true with Carlos. He could have washed my car and done a halfway job, but instead he did a very thorough complete detail. Those reviewers that gave him negative reviews don't understand what it's like to be a one man mobile shop that is completely inundated with cheapskate Groupon purchasers. Yes,it was a long wait using a Groupon coupon, but it certainly was worth it. I think the problem with wait time is more a Groupon issue. The coupon is way over subscribed. They, Groupon do not tell the purchaser there could be a long wait. I have had this issue before. Carlos spent over three hours detailing my car today. It looks beautiful. Great service! Bought a new (used) car and wanted to make it my own - and get my old car ready for sale. Carlos came to my house and diligently went to work for several hours - my new car gleamed inside and out, and my old car got the facelift it's wanted for 10 years! :) Every compartment was cleaned and vacuumed, carpets and seats shampooed, exterior washed/clay bar/waxed, tires and wheels shined - all I had to provide was an extension cord and a hose. Carlos did a great job on the detail work that I had purchased from Groupon. Did a very good job on Interior and exterior cleaning and waxing the two cars that I had him do. Both cars look a lot better after his work. Nice work and he was very pleasant. Yes I had to wait a bit longer after I brought Groupon, as he was over booked due to the success of using Groupon. But timing was ok with me .. as the car were due for a good cleaning after the Summer trips ! If not, I would have had to have it done again. But it should server him well down the road for using Groupon and building the clients. read more

I have a badly neglected '04 Dodge Dakota that I'm getting ready to sell. Mechanically, it's in fine shape, but the interior and exterior hadn't been cleaned in a long time. And worse, there was a strong, stale tobacco smoke odor. I honestly felt like I needed a shower after each time I drove it. Carlos came out today and spent about six hours on it. He didn't set high expectations about the odor and some stains he pointed out. But he sure came through! He brought out the finish in the exterior...silky smooth and shiny. The interior is spotless...even the stains he wasn't so sure about. And the odor is gone! This is the first time I've had a vehicle detailed, so I can't say if it was a fair price, but it was worth it to me. Judging from other reviews it looks like once you get this guy to your car he does a nice job, but I couldn't even get that far! Bought a groupon, called to schedule (3x) and never heard back. Contacted groupon and he called the next day. Annoying. I was told there was a 4 month wait, but he would still honor my groupon. Great, no problem. 3 days before my appt he called to confirm. 30 min before my appt he called to cancel saying he was sick. Suspicious since it was Memorial Day. But I managed to wait 4 months for this appt and make it back from my holiday plans in time! It was just a customer service nightmare, and he was so unprofessional! If he had called 2 hrs before the appt to cancel I would have been more understanding. But I was literally 5 min from my house after driving back from Tahoe! Grrrr. Contacted groupon and got a refund. My advice is don't even bother with this guy, go somewhere else. read more

I purchased a Groupon at the end of 2012. I didn't call Carlos until January. I was concerned that the Groupon would expire but Carlos assured me that he would honor the Groupon and also explained because of the high volume of Groupon sales, that he had commitments till April 30. We booked the appt. and I patiently waited. Well....worth the wait..... Carlos showed up at my home, on time, courteous, respectful & hard-working. He worked on my car for approx. 4 1/2 hrs! The young man didn't leave until 7:45 pm My car looks beautiful & the interior is impeccable! I even have perfect vacuum lines! This Groupon was a steal-- It's just a few dollars more than a car wash you purchase down the street. Don't forget to tip---Groupon takes a cut of the profits on anything you purchase. Let's keep in mind that these businesses that subscribe to Groupon to increase their business, get referrals & development relationships, all for less than the "normal fees" they would normally charge. I am very impressed with this man! I spilled a lot of water on my car's carpet without realizing it, so it had been sitting and seeping into the carpet all day. When I finally realized I called a few businesses and this one seemed like the most reliable. He came out at 6:40 at night and spent over and hour cleaning this one spot- very diligent and hardworking. He really takes pride in his work. I recently got my car detailed by Mr. Fuentes. He was so curteous on the phone and always called me right back when I wanted to schedule my appt. and also when I needed to reschedule with him. He came to my home at the agreed upon time and was so friendly and polite. My car is a minivan, and as a busy mom, it gets a lot of wear and tear. I often drive carpool and have many kids in my car with food and dirty shoes. Mr. Fuentes did an amazing job on the inside and out. He worked about 5 hours on my vehicle and my husband and I were very impressed with his attention to detail. really bad experience from a groupon deal. bought in november; upon calling was told no appointments thru may. grudingly i agreed. stayed home on the day of the appt., when i called to check when they are coming etc.. owner first responded he had no cloue on the appointment and knows nothing about it.
