This place is on a beautiful quiet little street in Coral Gables with very little traffic and very easy to find parking The food and service are amazing this place is a total hidden gem in Coral Gables. I will definitely be coming back.

The food was amazing and so was the ambiance. Relaxed and welcoming. The service could not be any better. It is a small restaurant but these are usually the best ones where the shef controls what goes out and is passionate about the food they serve. Recommend reservations for dinner or larger groups. Since I was alone and at a slightly off time for lunch there was no seating concerns however as word gets out one would expect the space to get more limited.

Chose Fugato for my birthday dinner. Beautiful restaurant, great vibe, located in the Gables. The food was spectacular, dishes on the small side but i prefer quality over quantity. They accommodated my granddaughter, Made her chicken finger & fries. My only complaint if I have to choose one and the reason for four and not five stars was the service, I don't feel they have enough people to manage a full crowd. It's apparent they host many "regulars" as they were taken care of before us even though we arrived prior, which was a bit annoying, however, the food quality made up for the delays. I would definitely def return to try a few more Italian fusion dishes. Tye risotto was perfection!

I recently went to Fugato for dinner with a friend. And online Fugato was advertised as a fusion between Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. However, I found the options to be primarily Italian and Spanish. You are served complementary bread with olive oil/balsamic vinaigrette for dipping. And all I have to say about it, is that it was the warmest bread that I have ever been served at a restaurant and I absolutely loved it! We ended up ordering the CHÈVRE CROQUETTES for an appetizer, which were really good, however, the primary flavor was of goat cheese. They were served with a sweet and a savory sauce and I truly couldn't decide which one I liked better. For dinner, we got GNOCCHI ASIAGO and PAPPARDELLE FUGATO which were both flavorful however, a bit too salty. For dessert we shared the ZABAGLIONE which was advertised as Italian custard/berries. When we picked the item, we were not aware there would be alcohol infused, which was okay and tasted good however, I think it would be good to include that on the menu. Now this could be normal for Italian custard, and if so I was just not aware. Overall, the portion sizes were rather small for the price. However, I will say all of the pasta tasted homemade and fresh. There only seemed to be 2 servers/waiters working which was fine as it is a smaller restaurant. Both servers/waiters were super friendly. However, it took at least 30 minutes after we were done eating to receive the receipt and we were 1/5 tables.

I was in Miami for my birthday, and my best friend and I decided to check this place out for dinner! It was phenomenal! It's a quaint but formal establishment (definitely great for a date night) and it's very intimate. First dish: the octopus was devine. Cooked with the perfect texture, and yummy thin sliced potatoes underneath. Second dish: Pappardelle Fugato. Guys, 20/10! The noodles were perfect, they tasted homemade. The meat was soft and tender, mixed with the broth and shredded parmesan. My mouth is watering just from describing it. It was a spiritual experience, I swear! LOL Definitely a restaurant that I would revisit if coming to Miami with my man in the future.

Fugato was very nice. Great overall experience at the restaurant. I had made a reservation and our table was ready when promised. The wine list is simple but has some great choices. Service was perfect... very attentive while not being intrusive. Food came in a timely manner, and everyone was happy with their orders.

Delicious pasta! The only downside is I wanted more on my plate. The pasta itself was perfectly al dente. My pear filling was a perfect combination of sweet and salty with Italian cheeses. I seriously have nothing negative to say about the entree. I tried my boyfriend's mushroom gnocchi, and it was also remarkable. The pasta wasn't too firm or mushy. Our server was amiable and funny. It was a quiet and romantic atmosphere. Dim lights, soft instrumental music. It was the perfect night after a long day at work.

The restaurant has 2 levels, there was a large group upstairs celebrating, good for them but they appropriated most of the servers so we were left with only one to take care of all tables on the main floor. He took a long time to come by our table and also take our drink order. The drinks were good so we patiently waited for this server to take our app order. The food was delicious so we let the lack of service pass. After our meal we waited some more to order dessert. Unfortunately when the server finally came by we asked and he said oh the kitchen is closed. We were confused and very disappointed. The least he could've done was advise us of the kitchen closing so we would have time to order dessert. That was a really bad move and we were left dumbfounded. Our bill included a 20% service charge and again I was insulted as I would not have tipped him that much. Food = great Drinks = great Service = lacking

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

Even after paying, the staff continued to make sure we had water and asked if we needed anything else. This small gesture meant a lot. Sufrat has a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. The gyro meat was excellent--crispy, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. It came with pita, tzatziki, and traditional fixings, and everything on the platter worked beautifully together. The tzatziki, in particular, was some of the best I've had--fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Truly outstanding. The grilled vegetables were more uneven. There was a nice char overall, and the charred asparagus stood out as especially delicious. However, the rest of the vegetables felt under-seasoned and lacked flavor--something as simple as a bit of salt could have made a big difference. The biggest disappointment was the meatballs small plate. While the portion was generous (six meatballs), unfortunately they were extremely dry and largely inedible. Between two of us, we managed only one--and that reluctantly. Bottom line: Meraki clearly does some things very well--especially the gyro platter and tzatziki--but a few dishes need refinement. With some improvement in seasoning and execution on certain items, this could easily move from good to excellent.
