I'd like to start off with that this place gave me such a hard time trying to find it. The trees were blocking the whole building, but it was definitely worth the search. This place was delicious, off the rip I want to recommend to all the Shrimp Crustini from the appetizer because it is beyond delicious! There food is to die for and you will not be disappointed. And I would like to add that the accent of the place is very nice. I think people would love to have a date here for with the dimmed lights and candle deems a transparent romantic vibe. In addition to them having an ok management of controlling the COVID spread. Now for the improvements that they may want to consider. Walking into the place it was not to busy, but I was standing at the door for quite sometime prior to being seated. About 15 minutes, and I was not put on any sort of waiting list to be seated nor were there anybody in front of me in the line. So managing the people who do come to the door next time will have to be much better. All in all this place is a very nice and I will definitely consider visiting again sometime. read more

Given a New York steak instead of the filet. Told waitress and she said "o I'll tell the chef". Nothing was changed in the bill. Also we asked 3 times for a napkin and fork. My daughter and I stopped by for dinner on an annual road trip we take around Easter. We were blown away. Our server Julia was a class act from the very beginning. The menu provided a lot of creative and interesting dishes, and the drink menu also offered a nice variety. The restaurant ambiance was classy, and although we initially felt underdressed after being on the road, we were made to feel extremely comfortable. It was such an amazing experience. We stopped by for a quick bite before leaving town, and I was mind blown on how good the food was and how great our server was. We were greeted at the door and sat within minutes, and the choices of food were amazing. I wanted the whole menu. I decided to go with a chicken Alfredo pasta and chicken marsala best I've ever had. The pasta was so creamy, and the chicken was perfection. Our server was the best he knew exactly what he was talking about and recommended menu items for us to try next time. Update to my rating. Let me put my bob wig on because I'm about to go FULL KAREN MODE ON THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Previous rating was for take-out which is a world different. On the other hand dining in is HORRIBLE because of the service/waitress (Megan C). Definitely a "If I could give 0 stars I would type of rating." Dine-in was for reservations at 7 pm. We arrived at 7:05 pm a little behind for our reservations and were seated at 7:30 pm. Not a really big deal. Everything was in order when we got to a pretty good seating area. Hostess even had a high chair for our 4 month old son. Things were rolling. Waitress (Megan C) asks for our drinks and sees if we are ready to order after 5 mins of sitting. We just got waters and told her we are still deciding on appetizers. 10 minutes later she comes back with bread and olive oil, then we tried to order 2 appetizers. After putting the order in for our 1st app she insisted we order entrees now. We refused and before I could order my 2nd app she takes off to the back not taking empty plates, refilling our water or even asking if everything is going well. 5 mins later she comes back after waving her down and we order our 2nd app. Same thing....no dirty plates taken, waters refilled, or "is everything okay?" question. We finally get our appetizers at 8:05 pm. 35 mins after being seated and place our orders for our entree. Apps are done and dirty bread plates, dirty app plates, empty water glasses, and menus are all still on the table. UNACCEPTABLE. At this point my wife and I are pretty upset. What adds insult to injury is that we noticed 3 tables near us that sat after us had gotten their food, eaten it and had it all packed up (more on that later) and were waiting on their checks. While we still were left with a table full of dirty dishes, menus, empty water glasses and a waitress (Megan C) that was hard to track down. We were almost to point of cancelling the entrees and speaking to management but luckily the food came out right then. The food...regretfully was still great. We had the steak tartar bruschetta and bacon wrapped seared scallops for appetizers. And for our entrees we had the NZ lamb chops and the double cut 14 oz pork chop. Still the best food in Lemoore/Hanford area. BUT DEFINITELY NOT WORTH BEING TREATED LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN BY THE WAITING STAFF! Seated to entree (with apps in between) wait time was 7:30-8:35. Very understandable, but the waitress neglected us, gave no updates and checked on us only once after the entree was delivered. What did not help was the fact that our dining neighbors all got their food a lot faster. After the dinner Megan C gave us a check and to go boxes. I asked her why she didn't pack our food like the other 2 tables near us. And she offered to but i refused because I just wanted an answer on why we were treated differently and service was a lot slower for us. She had no answer and ran to the back. Megan C then comes back 5 mins later to take my card and offers an insincere apology and explanation on why we were treated like vagrants. "I feel there is tension between us and I want to offer you a cheesecake and an apology. What you guys don't see is that we were really busy and that's why it took long. I also can't pack your food because of COVID restrictions" (BS MEGAN, YOU PACKED 2 OTHER TABLES FOOD NEAR US.) As a customer I don't need to know what goes on in the back Megan C. You are supposed to be professional make your customers comfortable and at least act like you care. A fake smile and checking on us more frequently would've greatly helped. Needless to say we did not take the free cheesecake because of the "tension." I still tipped 15% and spent over $130 total here for my wife's birthday dinner. Tip was really meant for the chefs because they did their thing in the kitchen. My wife and I are done with all Fugazzis. After reading other reviews it seems like HORRIBLE SERVICE IS EXPECTED AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Wish COVID wiped this sorry restaurant out. Rant over. read more

Our Valentine's Day treat. We rode the train from Bakersfield to Hanford and had dinner here. Very slow service but after all it's Valentine's Day and they seemed short staffed because of it. Ok it's a long time after the fact, but we were discussing dining options with a friend who recently moved to the Hanford area and I realized I had never reviewed this wonderful establishment. We were there during the time of my brother's final days of his battle against liver cancer. We went here the night before he passed but were called away to the bedside. The next day, after he had passed, we all gathered here and the staff was astoundingly warm and comforting and treated us to a few drinks. Their kindness will never be forgotten. In terms of the food, ambience and all the qualities one would normally look for in a dining establishment, they were 100% en pointe! I've had some okay and some bad from here in Hanford. In person, I had a nice pasta dish, my husband got a steak extremely overcooked and the waiting started that the chef was distracted. When we asked to return the dish, he stayed 'What do you want me to do about it?' We tried once again, as every restaurant has a bad day once in a while. I don't eat meat, so their portabella mushroom raviolis in cream sauce sounded perfect. But, when I got them they were in meat sauce with 2 huge beef meatballs on top of the red meat sauce. Their food is great, but only if you don't have any requests or can't eat something specific-even if the menu gives specific details on what it should be. I love this restaurant, we go from Lemoore to enjoy the cocktails and the bar. I love the atmosphere and the food is delicious! I've eaten in the restaurant and the last couple times we've gone for drinks and appetizers so we stayed in the bar. There were two gentlemen working that night , they were busy because it was a couple of days after Christmas. The staff was so nice , they wore masks and I appreciated that . They were also very attentive and let us know that it would be a few minutes before they could get our orders. It was not long at all, I loved that they came over to say hi and brought out a bread basket, yummy and fresh . Then our drinks arrived, I love the cocktails since I'm not a beer drinker. They have my favorite Rombauer Zinfandel! And I love the variety of martinis. We also had the beef skewers, calamari and shrimp cocktail, all delicious! Plenty of parking and a large restaurant with plenty of tables. Beware that it is Expensive - bottle of wine, three entrees, one appetizer and dessert totaled $215 before tip. Service was great. Water refills and periodic check ins of the food. Menu offers many options - not too overwhelming. Complimentary bread and dipping sauce. The halibut was overcooked - when made right, it's supposed to be fluffy, light and settles well in your mouth. This was dense and dry. The cook overcooked the halibut and it's disappointing considering this dish is priced over $40. Comes with overcooked limp vegetables and flavorless rice pilaf. Overpriced and underwhelming dish - definitely don't recommend. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. When we got back, we told the hotel that it was not good, we wouldn't go back and it was overpriced for the below average food. I hope they stop recommending this restaurant. I will not return. If you're going to charge these prices, make sure your food is prepared well and tastes fresh. read more

The food here is delicious but the rest of this place is kind of eh. Service is friendly but, god, sooooo slow even when its not busy. I timed it 1and it literally took 30 minutes for the bread to come out and still a few more form the drinks we ordered. Everything we ordered was delicious, including the drinks and even some brussels sprouts, just be prepared to wait in between courses. They also play odd music (our most recent experience was a mix of acapella and weird jazz) and have BLACK toliets in the bathroom. The lighting is too dim for me but other people like that so it's a hit or miss. Still, I like this place and will probably be back. read more

Clean and cozy atmosphere. Compliments to the chef, you can definitely taste the overall quality of the food and you get what you pay for. Menu has a good selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches; soups, pasta, stakes and includes a kids section for under 10 years old. We ordered the Rib Eye stake (served with a side salad, mash potatoes and vegetables) and the California Bistro sandwich (served with the best sweet potato fries I have ever had). For drinks we had their blood orange margaritas and they were very good. I'm sorry about our waitress, she was friendly, but it took a long time for anything (you know when you ordered something and forget you even ordered it, yeah that long) drinks came 15 minutes later, we had to asked for bread and oil after we noticed we were not going to get any and we never got the dessert menu we asked for after ordering dinner! Above and beyond customer service! We tried to order Fugazzis via doordash while in the hospital with our 1st child's birth. After ordering, we realized the hospital would provide lunch so we cancelled the order. I called Fugazzis to verify fugazzis had received the cancellation notice and make sure the food hadn't already been prepared/wasted. They mentioned the food was already prepared and had not received the cancellation. Not wanting to screw over Fugazzis, I drove over to pick up the food anyways and figured we'd just save it for later. After explaining the confusion to the person bringing the order, the manager came out and insisted the meal was 'on the house' and threw in a piece of cheesecake for the wife as well and "congratulations on our child." This is hands down the most upscale restaurant in Hanford. And not only is Fugazzis a nice restaurant, the service and food are amazing!! You are truly missing out if you haven't experienced Fugazzis. I love the brussel sprouts for an appetizer and my favorite entree is the petit filet. The filet comes with veges and I usually order the garlic mash or the baked potato which is huge! The filet always comes out cooked perfectly every time I order it (I have had it twice in one week)!! We had a party of 8 for a little holiday cheer, it was a Wednesday and the restaurant was busy, everyone stated the meals we're excellent! The only reason for not giving 5 stars was it took a little time between salads and main course, though the service staff did a great job from the moment we arrived. I had the seafood pasta which was loaded with clams, scallops ,mussels and shrimp in a wonderful light cream sauce. My wife had one of the best grilled ribeye we've had anywhere.
