Love this place. Had a fabulous dinner there with family. Celebrated my husbands birthday there. We will be back.

We came in for an early 5pm dinner, just randomly drove by and saw the sign advertising a large one topping pizza for $8.99. We had to wait for a while as there was no host or hostess, and even as we were already seated, we saw just about every other group having to wait for a host to acknowledge them in order to be seated. We ordered the $8.99 special pizza and were told that that is only for "to go" orders, but that they will honor it, since the sign was unclear. The waitress was apologetic, but the manager ended up charging us $13.99 and when the bill came, we found an additional $4 up-charge, so the advertised $8.99 pizza ended up costing us $17.99, which it was not worth it. The other food we had was ok. The Brie and roasted garlic appetizer was exceptional. All and all, disappointed in the service, and the false (unclear) advertising, and the manager's response. We had a party of 8 for a little holiday cheer, it was a Wednesday and the restaurant was busy, everyone stated the meals we're excellent! The only reason for not giving 5 stars was it took a little time between salads and main course, though the service staff did a great job from the moment we arrived. I had the seafood pasta which was loaded with clams, scallops ,mussels and shrimp in a wonderful light cream sauce. My wife had one of the best grilled ribeye we've had anywhere. I just wish I would have taken pictures of the plates, presentation was spot on too! read more

Ate here for lunch today in a group of 6. We were seated quickly and our server was pleasant and patient. However while seated i noticed the greeter seemed to disappear often, leaving customers to walk in and having to wait several minutes to be seated. Menu is simple and provide several different entrée options at resonable prices ($10-$12) Unfortunately they were out of a few key menu items. On this visit, both the Truffle Fries & Short Rib pasta. Our server informed us they had been out of the pasta for some time now...(-1 star) I ordered a Stroganoff and salad with Bacon Mac & cheese appetizer. Mac and cheese was pretty good. However the salad and stroganoff were unfortunate. Stroganoff was brought out made with the wrong type of noodles (Actually had several different noodles other than the one it was supposed to have), and the flavor of the sauce tasted a bit burned. Salad tasted dirty and the dressing (Ranch) was not very good. (-2 Stars) Overall, unless they make some major changes to their ingredients & recipes, I will probably not be back here again. read more

In less than 5 min we got sat, got drinks and placed our order. Food was great. Best fettuccine I've had in Hanford. Place was clean.

It's been a while since my wife and I have eaten here because our previous experiences left a lot to be desired. As I've said before the food is good but the service staff reminded me more a truck stop rather than a nice restaurant. Tonight we were very pleasantly surprised. It was apparent from the moment we stepped into the entryway that things were different. First of all the reception station was back in the entry way so new arrivals were not ignored. Second we were immediately greeted by the host who took our names and said it would be just a few minutes before our table was ready. While we waited a nice young lady, who it turned out would be our server also warmly greeted us. The host came back shortly and seated us, giving us a wine list and menus. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. It was obvious she was very busy but she found time to stop by the table to check on us. This was the service I would expect but rarely received until tonight. The food, which we've always enjoyed was very good. All in all a very enjoyable meal. This is the kind of experience that will keep us coming back. I don't know who was responsible for all the changes but they are much appreciated. read more

Give me a friggin break! I have dined in some of the finest restaurants in the world - I'm not difficult to please - just don't talk to me or my family like we're a bunch of clueless idiots. Ok. In Hanford, at the moment, this is the best place to get a steak. Hands down. The service, in the past, has been pretty spotty. Today, however, after a 3 month breakup, we returned. Result? Needed upgrades to the menu and tables were made. They returned the edible flower with the food and just overall improvements were noticed. We had the lobster pops (appetizer) which was an addition and delicious! Had the rib eye as I usually do and noticed they had a couple additional sauces. I still prefer the Jack Daniels one but I tried the chipotle and pesto (not bad). Our waiter was Jose and he was just divine. Personable armed knew the menu. We were pleasantly surprised and happy with our visit. We will be back.... less than 3 months, for sure. read more

Yesterday I went to go eat at Fugazzis with my family. We waited to be seated for more than half an hour the whole time. While we were expecting to get seated eventually, one of the workers there actually saw us, and had even walked past us because we were in her way. Despite her knowing that we clearly needed her service, she was indeed aware about it and had actually seen us there. We felt discriminated. I won't be heading back to that place again. read more

My wife and I brought her Grandmother here for her birthday last week. We ordered drinks and meals, and got our complimentary bread which was fine. However we waited almost an hour and a half before we were served our meals! And the food wasn't anything to write home about either. My wife had a steak salad. The steak was nice, but the salad was absolutely drenched in this overbearing citrus dressing! And I had the beef stroganoff. The sauce was tasty, however there were only like 4 tiny little pieces of beef in there! Not good when it costs nearly $20! The only reason why I am giving 2 stars and not 1 is that the staff were very friendly, despite being overworked! They even brought out a piece of birthday cheesecake for my Wife's Grandmother! They have terrible food and slow service. The steaks are always dry and pasta is terrible. They actually serve a half head of lettuce with salad dressing like they are some fine dining restaurant when that's probably the worst thing fine dining serves. I have never had a good or even decent experience the handful of times I have been there over the past few years. Just stay away. I hope this place gets new ownership who makes new changes because I will never eat there again. read more

Solid atmosphere and good food for a steep price. We had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer and it was quite good. We also tried the Chicken Parmesan and Beef Stroganoff for our entrees. The chicken parm was fairly simple but quite good with a solid amount of food for the price. It had a nice portion of pesto angel hair pasta as well, a nice change from the more traditional rigatoni marinara that usually comes with chicken parm. The beef stroganoff was also quite simple but good. If I had to pick between the two, I'd go with the Chicken Parm next time. The food wasn't too special, but if you're looking for solid Italian food in the area, Fugazzis is a good option. The price is a bit steep though for what's on offer. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I have never been one to send back food but when you are paying $30 a plate for a chefs special and the sides are cold/frozen and the meat is over done I had no choice. Not to mention the room temperature tap water and warm salad I received really upset me. Me and my husband were out for a nice dinner and were totally disappointed. When we asked for bread we waited for 25 minutes before she said they ran out....um.... ok, it took 45 min to get our appetizer and it came without sauce, when I asked where the sauce is she said they are out of it. I waited over an hour just for them to take my order! We told a waitress that we were ready to take our order and they said they would take care of it but nothing happened. A lady who came after us got her food before our order was taken. By the time she left we finally got our food. Visited yesterday. Took our work crew out had heard they were a very good restaurant. Had a party of 9. Seated us fine, were VERY slow taking drink and appetizer orders. Appetizers were very good, had the brussel sprouts and mushrooms. They were having a special on their Ribeye steak, so 7 of us ordered that. Literally took 45 minutes for the food to be delivered, one of our party looked at his steak and it was obviously a sirloin cut. We mentioned it to the waitress who argued a little then took it back. He ordered a steak sandwich so he in theory could get his food quickly and eat with the crew. We were told his new order would be up quickly. Dinner courses were nothing to brag about, not bad, just not what you would expect when looking at their website and food. I am of the opinion that a steak house should know the different cuts of meat, and be able to cook the meat correctly. 4 of the 9 had steaks overdone. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours 6pm to 8pm. He never was served his food. He ended up with a to go order. I took the crew out for a nice dinner and one of my guys did not get to eat. Heard great things about this place, so we figured we'd give it a try It took forever to be greeted and seated. There were two other groups in the restaurant that afternoon. The bread everyone talks highly of never made it to our table. We were lucky to get our drinks..refills weren't going to happen. I ordered a chicken dish and was expecting a savory piece of chicken breast--instead I received cubes of chewy chicken that tasted like they were bagged and frozen. We were visiting family in Hanford from San Francisco on the weekend of February 19th and were told by many that Fugazzis was really the only higher end restaurant in town. I'm still at a lose with what I missed during our visit. The service was really almost unacceptable and the food not that much better. I never mind paying exuberant prices for quality food and excellent service. Fugazzis didn't offer the service, but they did have ridiculous prices for subpar food. I many times pay lower prices in San Francisco and I know that the quality of food is at least going to be there. During Covid-19 they had to be at 100% capacity offering indoor dining and while they had something posted on the door that 'masks' were required'...there were numerous people allowed in the door and NOTHING was said to anyone. Walking in and standing waiting for someone to address you felt like we were walking into a Denny's. Our first clue should have been when we ordered the steak appetizer and the waiter kept saying 'steak bites', when the menu states steak medallions....chunks of beef are NOT medallions. It won't be a place I visit again anytime soon... read more

I give this restaurant 2 stars because I was unsatisfied with them. I felt like everything was super rushed but hardly any one was in the restaurant and while I was talking to my boyfriend I kept getting cut off by the server. I wasn't that mad about it but just made me forget the story I was trying to tell them but I let it go. But I was very upset with the fact that there was a cockroach on our booth and she placed us in a different booth but the waitress was trying to get the cockroach out she didn't even pick him up. My boyfriend realized the cockroach was still there so he picked it up himself and told her that she didn't actually get him. After seeing that before getting the meal I lost my appetite. read more

Terrible service. My boyfriend and I made reservations so once we walked in we waited in the lobby just like everyone else and was never once approached. Another couple walked in and they approached them and sat them down immediately. However once we told them we had reservations they made us wait, then had to check the book to make sure we had them (they didn't question the other couple and immediately sat the down). Once we were seated, they said our waiter would be with us. No utensils or napkins were provided even once our food came out. Waiter never came, instead a pregnant waitress asked if our waiter had came by yet to help us so we said no and she helped us. We had also ordered food from Grubhub a week or so ago and forgot to ask for bread so we called and they added an additional charge to my boyfriends credit card and once our order arrived we saw that they never included the bread. We called and they said they'd refund us.... until this day they haven't. Terrible service. I have never had such a terrible experience at a restaurant. It appeared as they chose whom they wanted to provided good service to. We were a younger couple who had gone straight to dinner after a long day at work and for some reason they decided to ignore us but they immediately helped those whom were dressed very nicely and were older. Never going back again. Very disappointed and I hope they start treating all of their customers better. read more

Finally was able to make it this restaurant after hearing a mix review of it. Some were good some were mediocre. We arrived about an hour and half before they were closing on Friday night. Not that packed at all. Getting a seat was fairly easy, though I feel they can seat their customers more spread out next time instead of next to other customers, given that it wasn't packed. It took awhile to get our menu, then ordering did feel like it was quite a wait. For our appetizer we ordered sweet potato fries, not really an italian dish, but judging from the menu they attempt to cater different dishes. Appetizer did its job by being appetizing nothing that really stood out about it. Our main orders were the angel hair with shrimp and mushroom pizza. The angel hair, was superb very flavorful, the pizza was okay, there was something about that the dough that felt plain. I also ordered a Mike' Mule, their ginger beer didn't stand out and they could've added a mint leaf to help bring out the taste. Its decor felt homey, like someones living room. Like pier one import finds and put together with no real flow of interior design. Staff, could've been better, we waited awhile for bottled water which we didn't get nor did they inform us that they were out of bottled water. The price is fair for the food that they serve. The ambience was great. I will def check it out again. read more

Vegetables were barely blanched with no flavor.$37 for a petite filet and flavorless vegetables, and nothing else except poor service. KINGSBURG location makes a much better steak, and very flavorful vegetables, Hanford needs to get with the program. read more
